We go to Barmouth every year and we always look forward to visiting Luvit, its such a lovely little shop, and a friendly family run business, there’s so much to look at and a great range of gifts, jewellery, things for the home and I love the Roka bags.
I can also recommend the website which is great especially when you don’t live near the shop. I’ve ordered for myself and for gifts and they came packaged lovely 😊

My favourite shop to visit in Barmouth. Luvit is a treasure trove of fabulous goodies from local creatives and frankly I never leave empty handed. I love the gorgeous ranges and the fact that the stock is constantly being updates, there always seems to be something new. The proprietors are super warm and friendly. Just the loveliest shop.

Came in this afternoon with some family,my youngest child is non verbal & autistic,unknowingly to us (for a split minute) she was throwing her ball in store near to some glassware,the shop owner tried to tell my daughter to stop but obviously she didn’t respond as she’s non verbal & autistic,my eldest child noticed the shop keeper speaking to her saw what was going on so explained to the shop owner she was autistic & wouldn’t respond as she was non verbal & immediately took the ball off my youngest,we then carried on browsing the shop,then one of my other family members noticed the shop owner was still telling my youngest to stop to which we said stop what she hasn’t got the ball anymore ??? So my cousin just decided to take my child out of the shop as the shop owner said she didn’t want her anywhere near the glassware.She made us all feel extremely uncomfortable & drew attention to us from other customers,I feel like she could have been more kind in the way she handled it,instead of making us feel like we weren’t welcome especially as the ball was removed immediately from my daughter.
Luvit you 100% were aware my daughter was autistic you were made aware the first time you spoke to my daughter as stated in my original review my eldest daughter immediately took the ball off my youngest & told you she is autistic & non verbal so won’t respond to you so please don’t say you weren’t aware when you most definitely were.

I am so very sorry you were made to feel unwelcome in our shop. I wasn't aware that your daughter was autistic.
No one explained to me that she was autistic, I therefore treated her as I would any child playing with a ball near the glassware, and for this a truly apologise.
Had I of known , I wouldnt of dreamt of asking her to stop playing. Again I can only apologise for making you feel unwelcome, something I wouldn't dream of doing.
One item was out of stock and delivery of the other was late, but as a result the vendor refunded the cost in full. Luvit are excellent at responding to enquiries and ensuring superb customer service. Would recommend to anyone.
My journal arrived in good time and was beautifully packaged. The handwritten Thank you note was a beautiful personal touch.
So pleased with service and fast delivery thank you, the jellycat cookapoo is perfect so much like our friends dog, we bought it for their newborn baby. Can't wait to give it to them.
