Disconnects your plan and doesn’t reply emails.
They sold me double subscription on the same phone number and only gave money back for one of the months it happened, not both. Then they change my ability to pay using PayPal with no warning and makes it impossible for me to use my plan, when I write them to reactivate it, they don’t reply. My phone is not even able to have other subscription plans anymore, so I have no working phone, and my work depends on having a phone where I can at anytime of the day be contacted

I had a issue with auto renewal. The payment was deducted before the renewal date and the plan didn't renew further. While this issue was frustrating over email they resolved the situation and provided a refund in a few days.

I am happy, because the chat service was helpful and fast, and the good disposition of the advisor jersven.

I ordered a sim card which was supposed to arrive within 5 working days, it has been 5 working days but nothing came in. There is no track and trace and the chat bot is not helpful, it just mentions it will be there within 5 working days.
Also tried calling them, Customer Service should be open from 8AM according to the website, called at 8:10 and they were closed.

I got a new SIM card that I took abroad to EU. It turned out I was unable to make/receive calls. I tried contacted Lyca via their website several times to get help. Each time, I wait up to 40 min for anyone to chat with me. For over a week I have explained several times that I can't make/receive calls in roaming. Each time I go through detailed description and timestamps of attempted calls. Each time I'm told issue will be escalated to "higher level" to then be asked for yet more timestamps of attempted calls. Multiple support tickets are being open even though I explicitly ask for my updates to go to a different one. The support agents appear to be completely disconnected from what we're discussing. They keep asking multiple times what is the issue and when exactly I attempted to make calls. Sometimes they even ask me to call them from my phone, yes call them when I'm reporting that I can't make phone calls. I have already had 7 or 8 discussions and there is no path forward, no update on the details of any diagnostic efforts, very much just an information that someone will get back to me within 24-48 hours. After that nobody gets back to me and I have to try to contact the team again and wait for up to an hour in the live chat.
update: 10 days after this review the problem remains unresolved. At least 3 more times I was asked the same questions I already answered on several occasion but there is no input from Lyca. Absolutely dysfunctional support.

Bought prepaid card - registered - nothing works, sim not activated, no error messages. Chats with "Assistant" via web - useless, chat with support - useless. Lost 25 CHF and hours of time. Going to buy another prepaid, by aldi or so. Horrible.

I bought the sim and have completed the process online including ID verification. Yet after 6 days my sim is still inactive and customer service keeps repeating they are looking into it and wont even refund the money. This is illegal to take money from customer and not give service. I have asked for refund and they said they cant either. This company should be banned in Switzerland for taking money from customers and not giving service. I have called customer service 7 times and emailed 5 times everything they asked for.
Just a note its March 7th, 2025 and they keep promising to resolve issue and I have been going in circles. Its not a matter of the 24 CHF, but a matter of principle they took it and sim didn't work. This can not be legally allowed! They still haven't even refunded after so many requests and they know it did not work. Completely unethical.

I call customer service because I wanted to stop bundle renewal: the unfair things for lycamobile is that you changed the way to stop renewal (I could easily do it calling *190# in the past, but now it doesn't work anymore and it caused me some issues).
Luckily customer service employees help me quickly and complete the task as I expected.

First of all, the installation of the eSIM is the most difficult I have ever seen and it keeps giving errors. I go to a physical store and they don't even know how to do it.
Then I changed my phone and they wouldn't let me transfer the e-SIM to the new phone, they asked me to buy another e-SIM and then ask them to transfer it to me, I spent a week requesting it and paying for 2 e-SIMs and nothing, they never changed it for me, finally I changed companies
Customer service is very, very bad. If you have any questions or problems, they take a long time to respond and probably won't help you at all.

The quality of Lycamobile's service has been extremely disappointing, both in terms of network reliability and customer support. I have spent an excessive amount of time repeatedly contacting customer service for over a month, yet none of my issues have been resolved. Instead, the service has only worsened to the absurd point where my bundle was not renewed due to mysterious problems, leaving me without any bundle service. Lycamobile has proven to be unreliable and shows little regard for its customers. Frankly, even in third-world countries, services are often better than this. Such poor performance should not be acceptable in a country like Switzerland.
Just to provide more details, since activating Lycamobile, I’ve faced persistent issues with international calls. Specifically, the number displayed on recipients’ phones appeared as originating from other countries (e.g., Germany, Poland), causing confusion and leading people to ignore my calls, as they didn’t see my Swiss number.
Despite reporting the issue through multiple support tickets, the situation has only worsened. My number now always appears as hidden for international calls. It seems Lycamobile considered masking the non-Swiss number to be an acceptable solution. However, in practice, this approach is highly problematic, as most people avoid answering calls from hidden numbers, largely due to many annoying marketing calls.
In addition, I filed a complaint that Lycamobile stated would be addressed within four working days. However, 3 weeks have passed without any response, despite my repeated attempts to follow up on the matter.
I’m still using Lycamobile to avoid losing the remaining credit, but I’ve already begun migrating to a reliable Swiss operator, the only sensible solution.

Lyca Mobile service is very poor.
If you move to new device, eSim transfer is not possible, you have to order new eSim with new number, has to go with all verification process which fails many times, then in last request a sim swap by calling them, so ideally 3-4 days process and lot of waste of time.
If you lost sim, same process you have to follow.
Why can't you have easier and quicker process like other providers?
And your customer care executive are poorly trained, just don't want to listen and provide general solutions..
Real bad..
They replied it's already done but I did it few weeks back when I converted my old sim to eSim. It took 2-3 days and so many calls. Now I want to transfer my eSim from old iphone to new. Now they are asking same process again.
1. Order new eSim with new number
2. Verify identity for new number
3. Request sim swap for new number to old number
Why can't this process be simpler

The whole thing is a joke. Bought prepaid sim form kiosk, 5 days later still trying to activate. Support is completely useless and management unreachable by design. Stay away, here will be no refunds if you buy it from retailer.
