Great taste and fills me everyday. Can't fault it.

I think for the price and convenience you can’t really moan to much (as long as a few changes are made). The meals are nicely balanced and leaves you full. Some of the meals are very bland but in fairness if you’re trying to loose weight compromises in taste is inevitable, however the competition do a much better job. I do add herbs and a tiny bit of sauce to most meals. Some ingredients just don’t taste very nice once taken out of the freezer and are microwaved e.g. asparagus, carrots etc. I would like to see a wider selection of ingredients/meals, bigger labels on packaging for the elderly and visually impaired, better packaging for example one layer of food then ice bricks then another layer of food then ice bricks as the food arrives a tad warm instead of chilled. I find if I order a lot of meals the plastic containers split making a terrible mess. I found the website very easy to make my first order but really struggled to amend and make changes during other orders. Amending orders should be really user friendly and effortless. I did use the chat function but no one got back to me, I then emailed Tom who never got back to me either. I had to cancel everything and set everything back up to resolve the issue myself. This is becoming a very competitive market, you snooze you loose! I’m no longer a customer and have gone elsewhere as others do a much better job of things and I don’t get the problems which I experienced at Macro Meals.

Food is good decent price as well , but the customer service is awful all I wanted was an answer to a simple questions (how long does the food last in delivery box as DPD are late ) phoned 3 times told someone will ring me back hasn’t happened left messages on their website live chat no reply.

So much tastier than other meal prep companies I have tried. Also I feel so much better in myself for eating healthily and have much more energy since I started eating Macromeals. The price is good for the quality you get and the delivery is prompt and reliable. Thumbs up from me 👍

Having recently having my second child and an extended stay in hospital, we decided to use Macro Meals to help us adjust to the newborn stage whilst being able to feed the family with balanced, nutritious and tasty food.
It worked great!
The portions are generous so we found that 2 portions feed 2 adults and our toddler too!
We chose a mixture of salmon, pork and chicken and all were cooked well and reheated in our microwave without overcooking or drying it out.
We used the meals for a few weeks but will definitely be ordering again, even if it’s to have some back up meals in the freezer!

Started this subscription in an effort to lose weight, pleasantly surprised so far with the taste and the quality even though it has to be reheated but I don't remember ordering a side of hair with the meal.

Had to throw my first meal out because of it, hopefully this is not a trend.

Quality of the food is really bad, chicken taste like cartoon

I have placed a few orders recently and have loved the service I received so much that I have signed up to a weekly subscription. The food is fantastic and really great quality, and arrives on time and well packaged. Overall great customer service, any issues I’ve ever had were answered and resolved swiftly.

Its is with reluctance that I have cancelled my macro meal subscription. Your meals are ideal in so many ways : affordable, whole foods, calorie balanced etc. I love the convenience, meal sizes and quality of ingredients. It is frustrating to see the sugar content of your meals which effectively cancel out all the effort you go to to make your meals 'healthy'. I always come away feeling bloated and brain foggy after your meals, the same way I feel after eating sugary sweets. I always can feel a thick film of sugar in my mouth after eating some of your meals which is pretty off putting. You dont have to overload meals with sugar to make them taste nice. I hope you eliminate free sugars from your dishes in the future, kinda feels like you are shooting yourself in the foot considering health is one of your main selling points.

Follow up from my last review. I'd definitely give 5 stars for the customer service. They're very helpful but they need to find out what's causing this inconsistency issue with the food.

Good meals, but a better microwave cooking time should be reviewed

Fantastic meals! Big portions, fully customisable and really tasty. Definitely the best meal service available considering how much you can control what's in each meal. I'm a vegetarian and the veggie options for protein are great. The website is easy to use, you can pause your subscription if you're taking a week off and their customer service is great too! HIGHLY recommend!

revolting. Overcooked chicken and about 2 tiny chunks that weiged 42g - not sufficient protein. AVOID

So relieved at the end of every day to come home to Macro Meals, always delicious and easy!

Great food and so easy to come home from work and not have to cook

These are the worst microwave meals EVER ! disgusting
The salmon was looking extremely overcooked before it even reached the microwave and then when heated it was like a lump of dried up rubber, I thought maybe just unlucky with the first meal, but no they were all equally as disgusting and to be honest i would feel soooo guilty if i was to feed this to my dog. if you can imagine say cooking a roast dinner and put it in a pot big enough to feed a small child, then pop it in the fridge for a week and then reheat it in the microwave for 3-4 minutes then this is what you can expect. and then theres the costs it cost me approx £55 for 5 children sized disgusting tasting meals and a few choco bars. my advice would be save your money, go to the supermarket, get yourself some ready meals and enjoy. They taste better, they are bigger, they are fresher and you will save yourself the huge dissapointment of ordering from MACRO MEALS !

This company has been very reliable and helpful with providing meals in a great and timely manner. The food is really good also!

I had a big shoulder operation recently and living by myself and having the use of one arm for a few months, feeding myself was going to be a problem. I researched a few companies and decided to give Macro meals a go. I am very glad i did as the meals were varied, tasty and a good portion size. I really like the way you can easily edit your meal selection and get the menu just to your liking over time. The delivery of the meals has also been spot on as well always delivered on your allotted day. My only problem i found was the plastic containers that the meals are in they are not very strong and i have had a few that have broken whilst in transit, that being said my last delivery the containers were different, slightly bigger and less brittle so hopefully this problem has been addressed. Over all though a very positive experience and i would have no problem with recommending this company.
