Very hateful customer service rep
Very hateful customer service rep. After submitting a change of address for four magazine subscriptions over 8 weeks ago, I called after 6 weeks and advised only one of the four were being delivered. The CS rep. said it took 6 weeks before the change of address would take effect, so I called at 8 weeks and was again dealing with the hateful CS rep. I ended up just canceling all subscriptions. Run, don't walk from these folks!!!
Deceitful pricing total at checkout…
I ended up NOT ordering from Magazine.com after I saw the advertised price for People Magazine($48 for 48 weeks)was NOT the total you would be charged and renewed yearly! It was $107. Really? You gotta really pay attention because it also had an auto yearly renewal you’ll be charged for! Shame on yall I give “0” for such deceit
I subscribed to Real Simple last year…
I subscribed to Real Simple last year 2024. When I got an email saying they were going to renew this year 2025 I tried to cancel online but couldn’t. Called and cancelled on May22. On July 4th they charged my credit card. I emailed customer service and they sent me a refund check in the mail and said they cancelled the auto renewal. Today I got an email again saying it was going to renew and charge my account on the 31st of August if I didn’t cancel. I emailed them today August 14th and received a email back saying they are going to refund money that I haven’t paid yet and stopped auto renewal. I think I am going to have to get a new credit card number just to get this to stop.

They make it impossible to cancel a subscription. Scam!
TV Guide not received
i ordered Tv guide mag was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks. After that I was told it would take 12 weeks. It never came. I wrote to customer service a few times and now they tell me to call TV guide about missed issue. It's not a missed issue. its the subscription that never started. Save your money, avoid this site.
Run! Do not use Magazines.com!
The "customer service" at Magazines.com seems deliberately designed to prevent subscribers from ever cancelling a subscription or an auto-renewal. Having received an email from this company reminding me about an upcoming autorenewal that I believe I cancelled years ago, I attempted to cancel it using the link they sent. My email was not recognized?! They emailed ME. So I called their 1800 customer service number. Hahaha haha. No live person, just a monitone, repetitive IVR that is zero help. When you subscribe to a magazine online, often it's through this company, but it's not immediately apparent. I will be more attentive in future; if I see I'm going through Magazines.com, lI will not subscribe. They provide a truly terrible customer experience.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE (E-V-E-R)!!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE (E-V-E-R)!!! PERSON I GOT ON PHONE WAS IN ANOTHER COUNTRY! WAS IN A REALLY B-I-G! HURRY TO GET ME OFF! THE PHONE & SAID BYE? QUITE A FEW TIMES MID SENTENCE WHILE I WAS T-R-Y-I-N-G??? TO LET HER KNOW? ABOUT MY DISSATISFACTION WITH THEIR SERVICE! I WON'T START GETTING MY MAGAZINES UNTIL JULY? I WILL NEVER! EVER! ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!
I ordered a magazine (Blade) on…
I ordered a magazine (Blade) on 12/29/24 and as of 5/14/25 I have not received 1 copy. I e-mailed, messaged them on Facebook and called them numerous times and they never responded to me.
Magazinez.Com is the Worst Company Ever!
I cancelled a magazine and they never reimbursed me..when i called them they said I wasnt owed the money. Then they thought I was talking about another magazine I had ordered and paid for a month before, they stopped that magazine and sent me the money I had paid for that one. So I was left without either magazine. I have dealt with them before and they are the worst. I will never ever deal with this terrible company again.
Charged my credit card 48 bucks for…
Charged my credit card 48 bucks for Southern Living subscription which I never ordered. Don't know how they got my card number. I haven't ordered a magazine subscription in years from anybody. Cancelled my credit card to avoid further problems. Charge was reversed by credit card provider. I know the mag. business is dying but resorting to fraud is unacceptable.
Disappointed grandkids
I ordered Discover magazine for my grand kids Dec 2 and this company charged my card and it is March 11 and it still never got received. I called and was assured that it would go out and never did. So now I have to dispute the charge on my credit card. What a hassel. Just another online scam.
Never received my magazine
I ordered a subscription of readers digest and I never received one single book. I sent them an email and they said I have to contact RD directly. They will not give me a refund either.
CANNOT REACH THEM
They sent me a notice that I was going to be on auto-renew. I wanted to cancel. Well, they DO NOT allow you to cancel - it's a scam. SO frustrating.
This is a joke and very upsetting
This is a joke and very upsetting. You can’t get in touch with anyone to cancel subscription and I had no idea I was set up for auto renewal and they charged my account $106.!! Do not order magazines through Magazines.com.
Beware this way to order magazines!
I was charged $108 for two People magazine subscriptions last year and neither my friend nor I ever received a single issue. I have not been able to contact anyone to complain and now they've charged me $113, I guess for 2 more subscriptions I will not receive! Never ever use this company to order magazines!
Stay away from Mags.com
They did not contact me about any auto-renewal. Then they processed it without consent. You cannot talk to a person.
AVOID magazines.com
0 starts if I could. Getting subscriptions cancelled and getting refund (via their customer "service" center in India) requires perseverance. NEVER AGAIN.
Subscription for people magazine never…
Subscription for people magazine never started. They kept pushing back the starting date from 6weeks to 12weeks. But the year subscription was for a year and that started when I ordered. It’s a scam
If I could give zero or negative stars…
If I could give zero or negative stars I would. While they could email me about an auto renewal the email to reset my password just somehow never went through so I could manage my account myself. When I would contact customer service to reset my password they would just cancel my auto renewal. Completely shady stuff.
