Horrible company!
Horrible company!! Totally fraudulent representation. Never received my magazine , or a refund!!
Ripped off.
No email notification about renewal. After contacting them. I had multiple attempts to gain funds through PayPal. If it seems to good to be true. Probably you need to change your PayPal password.
Best Price, but unethical business practices
I was looking for the best price for People Magazine, Magazine.com had the best price. I will not purchase from them again though. A week or so after I purchased the subscription I received an email stating I had not completed my purchase yet. I went to the site and there was a subscription in my cart. I thought I had not completed the purchase. It allowed me to purchase a second unwanted People Magazine, after this purchase I received a popup which asked if I wanted another magazine, I clicked "No Thank you", it popped up a second time and I clicked "No Thank You" a second time, it popped up a third time and as part of the routine of the past two popups, as I clicked "No Thank You" , the no thank you immediately changed to "purchase". Without giving me a chance to verify this purchase, my credit card was immediately charged. I went to my credit card and both the second unwanted copy of People Magazine and the "trick" popup purchase was charged to my credit card. I looked at my credit card and the first purchase of People Magazine was paid for through this earlier desired purchase. I went to Magazine.com and cancelled the two purchases made a few minutes ago. They never responded to my email. I finally called and they immediately cancelled my unwanted purchases and credited my credit card. I feel if I didn't call, I would have never got my money back. I feel that this company sent me a trick email stating my purchase had not been completed when it really was, so I would buy another subscription, I also believe the "No Thank You" button was programmed to make a unwanted purchase on the third click because it seemed as if the"No Thank You" response wasn't being recorded. Buyer beware.
Do Not Buy Magazines from this Company
Mailed me an out-of-date magazine for my first issue out of a total of 7 issues. I then asked for refund on my order and the company charged me $4.00 for the issue they mailed to me that I received on May 21, 2024, which is clearly stated on magazine "display until Mar. 1,2024."
Received "digital issues" via email of…
Received "digital issues" via email of one of four selections I chose. Nothing else. Like the rest of those posting here, I agree, this company is a total scam.
This company is a rip off
This company is a rip off. They fraudulently charged me for a magazine I never ordered. I cannot contact anyone at the company. All I get is a recording asking if I will accept text messages for a fee.
Never received the magazine I ordered
Never received the magazine I ordered, customer service only wanted to tell me that it is not their fault, and would not let me talk, then hung up on me. Total scam. DO NOT USE magizine.com.
Ordered Atomic Ranch. Terrible CS on both ends!
I purchased a years subscription of Atomic Ranch for my son-in-law. They received 2 of the same issue. Nothing after that. Told by customer service of magazines.com to call Atomic Ranch directly. They never returned my calls. I contacted Magazines.com and asked for a refund but I was only issued for half of the subscription price. I won’t be ordering in the future.
SCAM. SCAM.
Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest to choose DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! 100% SCAM!! I should have known better. Famous last words. I only ordered from them because of Highlights (children magazine) was the original offer.
I paid for everything in full from the beginning-per what I saw posted on my account - no monthly charges.
I kept waiting to receive the magazines (not digital) and then I received a letter from Highlights saying my order did not go through because of lack of funds.
I have a debit card that I use only for online purchases and I put in enough to pay for the items & a small amount more. The bank & I were unclear why we couldn’t find the original charge BUT my bank did tell me that Magazines.com charged me a 10.70 in January but this company has tried everyday for an over 20 days to run a charge through for 38.72. The bank said the most any company tries to run an amount is 3 times. Like I said, I should have known better but at least I could cancel the card & end the entire mess.
Unable to cancel or remove credit card
Magazines are sent on regular schedule but you cannot unsubscribe or remove your credit card information once it's given to them. Your account will show 'non autorenewing' and they will go ahead and charge/process another year order, not notify you they did so, and in account information, you're unable to delete your credit card information either, to prevent it happening again.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES-BUY FROM THEM!!!
AS EVERYONE BEFORE ME HAS STATED… DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! The moment they get your credit card information you’re done for. It’s been over two years since we made in order for crossword puzzle books, and they have continuously charged us for memberships that we didn’t sign up for every six months. It’s about $30 each time which is not a huge amount of money but it’s disgusting and despicable that they continuously fraudulently charge honest peoples credit cards I have just recently found out who the CEO of the company is- Thomas H. Harty- so he is was the first one I’m contacting this time-you should all do as well. They are a company out of Tennessee. I’ve also sent notices to the Better Business Bureau, the Tennessee Department of consumer affairs, the consumer protection agency, the attorney general for Tennessee, and after this review, will be putting them on blast on all social media.
A company that continuously charges people after they’ve confirmed that it would never happen again, as a company that should not be allowed to operate in our country.
Double order con scam…
I placed an order thru these crooks on 8-30-23 and received an order confirmation and receipt on the same day. Today, 9-1-23 I received an email from these crooks telling me to come back because the offer is still available and it's not too late to get it. This ranks as a blatant attempt to con me into getting a second subscription to the same magazine. Anyone who uses magazines.com should watch every thing they do because these scammers apparently will try anything to con you into spending more money.
Absolutely awful customer service.
Absolutely awful customer service.
No one knows what they're talking about or give conflicting information to the customer service rep prior to them.
Avoid at all costs. The lower price might be tempting but if you have an error with your account, be prepared to spend weeks contacting customer service.

Ordered a magazine three months ago. Received 1 issue. Contacted customer service requesting help. They offered no support. Suggested I contact the magazine. Reminded them I ordered and paid them. No help No magazines
They are horrible!!
I ordered a subscription to Monthly Prescribing Reference (MPR) on Jan 11, 2023 from Magazines.com. Waited till March (8 weeks), called them and was told there was a delay in delivery, and to wait until 12 weeks. I contacted them April 23, and they sent me back an email to contact the magazine's (MPR's) customer service. I called MPR's customer services today (4/25/2023) and was informed that they didn't receive the order information until MARCH, but the magazine is now on the way, and I should have it by May 5th. So, Magazine.com sat on my money for 2 months and didn't even do their job until I complained. I paid $149 on 1/11/2023. Whatever money they promise to save you is not worth the aggravation!!
Not a legitimate website
Not sure if magazines.com is even a real company. I purchased a magazine subscription in November of 2022 by March of 2023 I did not receive anything so I reached out to magazines.com and after two days they said reach out to the issuer directly. I reached out 4 times over three weeks and they kept saying they are looking into it. Then the issuer never responded so I went back to magazines.com to follow up and first no response then finally since they do not actually read emails they just said to contact the issuer.
