Beware of Magic Bricks

Beware of Magic Bricks - Fraudulent Practices!

I recently had a terrible experience with Magic Bricks that I feel compelled to share. I was in the process of booking an apartment in Mumbai and, based on the listings and claims on their website, I decided to proceed. I paid ₹20,000 for the booking, trusting that they would facilitate the process smoothly. However, I was utterly disappointed.

Despite making the payment, the booking was never completed. I reached out to their customer service multiple times, but each interaction was met with vague responses and unfulfilled promises. It became clear that they had no intention of following through with the booking or returning my money.

This experience has left me feeling cheated and frustrated. I strongly advise anyone considering using Magic Bricks to think twice. Their practices are deceptive, and they lack the professionalism and integrity that one would expect from a reputable service.
Save your money and look for more trustworthy alternatives.

Useless and expensive

Don't ever consider the paid service of magicbricks (for finding tenant). They do all unnecessary things very diligently - content writing, photoshoot and vastu Puja. But when it comes to actual stuff- tracking leads, just nothing. They will provide you an excel with interested candidates which you can anyways see on the app. For this service they are charging a whopping 18000 for 3 months! Oh yeah they also assign a relationship manager, who will call you for the sake of calling and will say irrelevant stuffs. It's been 3 months, and The funniest thing is I didn't get 1 useful lead after spending this much amount, but I got innumerable leads from 99acres, where I just uploaded the details and pics of my apartment. And yes I got the tenant from 99acres.

Don't waste your time at MagicBricks. Misleading claim about free property posting.

Misleading claim about free property posting. I posted my property to rent when I saw that they offered to post one property for free. After I registered and provided my property details they took over 24 hours to make the property live but on searching could not even find my property. All they do is try and force you to upgrade to paid service and say that the property posted for free will only be viewed by 25% of the people for 15 days but the fact is that they do not even show the property unless you pay. So don't waste time on this website.

After payment the RS.1500 to magic…

After payment the RS.1500 to magic bricks for sale advertising, I came to know the magic bricks company is totally fraud... Ther is no explanation for improvement.

The problem is after posted all data of my property, I am found unable to edit the location which showing Kandivali in place of Virar. I tried with mail , chatting, phone contact to magic bricks team. In place of support they are asking me to take (Pay)another subscription and again post the property. When asking what about that existing subscription RS 1500 I have taken.. every one has no answer and disconnect the phone call. So clearly understood it was scam . The team of magic bricks is fraud website.. I experienced it.

There intension is to pull and throw the people into their fraud net and continuously scam and pull Mony by making disturbance one by one ... Their website is designed for scam.

So my friend.. I have bad experience with magic bricks..
Advised not to fall on their scam.

Government should check the public review and take proper action..

Disgusting experience with MB with no result.

I had made a free listing to sell my apt. From the same evening I started receiving calls for taking paid membership. Even 8-10 calls in a day each time from a different number. They were rude, disgusting, unprofessional and untrained. Their eagerness was showing up to fix me with some membership. Few of them were evening questions me why I won't take paid membership then and there.

From my experience I guess the following:

1. The customer service souls are independent individuals, who get a commission on each successful subscription.
2. They are eager to promise the moon. Reality is they have no other connection with the MB after the paid subscription is sold.

I had closed my posting and decided not to approach MB again.

Gave it 1 star because I couldn't give a zero. GO FOR 99ACRES INSTEAD

Horrible site design, puts almost all features behind a paywall. They don't even attempt to hide their greed for money. Can't even view details of other properties without paying. Disgusting site overall. The post your own property was another headache, a simple task that should be done in 5 min took me almost half an hour because they don't let you select your own locality/building, it has to be one from the list and it would keep glitching. Would prefer 99acres, it was much simpler, even got several responses there ( This review is not sponsored by them in any way)

The site magic bricks is full of frauds…

The site magic bricks is full of frauds and cheaters. The site showed trusted owner details which turned out to be of a fraudster who charged us 2000 INR (promising it's refundable) to create access pass for society visit. it sounded fraudulent when he asked for additional 4000 INR to process the stuck transaction(upon creating gate pass). Posing himself as an owner of the flat and an army men, his name was Abhijeet(must be fake) and his number was 83025 37729.

Worst experience

Worst experience. From US I posted an ad for my house to be rented out in Hyderabad. They charged 6500 INR to give the support. I was waiting for calls but would only get these text messages saying someone is interested and I say approve. They show the tenant contact. But, I never knew I should contact the tenant. Everyday I approve around 15 people. They never connect to me. I was surprised. I went back after a week asking why am I not seeing interested people whatsapp me although I approve. They said, they cannot see your contact because they did not pay us and you have to contact.
Now I did contact on the 9th day, probably to three people. They just searched and opened my ad probably but either not interested or requirements dont match. So, within a day 100 contacts they sent me as messages it seems without my knowledge to contact them. Now, they say pay another 3000INR. We will send you another 50 contacts. Finally, I gave up. Went to No broker. Peacefully, work is done.

I have advertised by paying on Magic…

I have advertised by paying on Magic Bricks for selling a Plot in Kerala, India. Its over a month, I was contacted by Magic Bricks agent the second day for upgrading my add to premium. But until date I have not even had one response. I am concern about the reach Magic Bricks might have, In the past I have advertised on other platforms like, 99acres, olx etc. And I always had some or the other response, minimum at least from agents. So I Strongly suggest not spend advertising at magic bricks for selling plots in Kerala, where as other regions I am not sure.

It's a very bad experience with Magicbricks

It's a very bad experience with Magicbricks. I have paid Rs.2000/- and published my house for sale ad. They have mentioned nothing to pay now but after getting a buyer I have to pay another 3000/-. Unfortunately, Since then every day 20 to 30 times they called me to pay an additional amount and select some packages like gold, platinum etc., only then, they can help in finding the buyers. I took gold package by paying another 6000+ amount but later I noticed that they were just doing business and not client-friendly. Every day they will forward some numbers to you saying they are buyers and want to connect with you. When you call them, they are also like us sellers registered with Magicbricks but not real buyers. It's all their gimmicks.. I did not find a single buyer from them as of today. Parallelly I was also trying with the help of neighbors and other friends and got a good buyer without any commission or broker. They will do just hungama saying photoshoot, relation manager, etc., which is not genuine.

Another surprising thing is, that they will call us every day and say there are flats for sale and look to buy them. I don't understand why the executives even don't know that I am a registered seller with them and looking to sell my flat rather they suggest buying a flat. Strange thing.

My suggestion to all is to try with your friends, colleagues, and neighbors first and don't waste your time by reaching this kind of website. Waste of time and money. I lost Rs.8000/- because of them and got 0% help.

Pathetic

Pathetic, they charge for packages & after spending the money all the numbers which reflects are either fake as those people also charge you for nothing, like I have taken a package against which I can access 10 owner contact details, when I tried to call them then those so called owners asked me to transfer 2000/ plus my I'd proofs then only I can visit a property for rent purpose.
Like seriously pathetic.

Please don't waste your money here. Rest of the numbers are not working.
As you will end up in getting nothing just waste of money and time.
Better go for any other platform

Extremely pathetic service

Extremely pathetic service. They make you buy the premium package but then you cannot log in and you end up making a zillion calls just to log in and access the profile. And they ask you wait for 12 hours. And then you are unable to call the owners. JUST PATHETIC. !!
