Was trying to find a decent copy of a portrait for my son's Christmas present and the National Gallery shop has taken off the exact image I wanted. MY printer wasn't up to the job and my son was VERY specific about the precise portrait he wanted.

Googled the flip out of it and stumbled across this site. The exact portrait was available, the price was very reasonable, so I bit the bullet and placed an order. I don't normally use sites that I have never heard of nor visited before, so this was very out of the norm for me - but I am so glad I did.

The picture arrived wrapped in tissue paper, sealed inside the BIGGEST cardboard tube I've ever seen; was a bit concerned I'd gone and somehow bought the wrong size, but it's just to keep the paper safe and it's a heck of a lot easier to get out of the tube without crushing or tearing the edges.

The paper is of great quality, the image is beautifully reprinted and it fits comfortably inside an A4 picture frame with some white paper behind to serve as filler.

I'm genuinely very pleased and happy - considering my son's love of portraiture, I will be definitely using this service again.

This art website is offering for sale a classic masterpiece of art that has it's important symbolism cropped out. Why?
I was browsing my favourite painting "The Ambassadors 1533" by Hans Holbein when I was absolutely horrified to discover the left hand side of the art on their page has an image of the Crucified Christ cropped out. I really hope this is simply down to the page parameters being set wrong.
The figure of the Crucified Christ is one of the main symbols of this work, which represents the deep divisions between Catholics & Protestants at the time of the Reformation.
I tried to email them to ask about this but their shop magnolia email is no longer working.
I will never buy art from a website that appears to crop beautiful, classical art work.

I ordered a lovely print to be framed and sent and settled down to wait for it. Unfortunately when it turned up it was damaged on the corner. I was really disappointed and afraid I was going to have problems sorting it out but the customer services were brilliant. I sent them a photo and they got back to me straight away to offer either a full refund or to have the ordered repeated. The test of a good company is how it deals with problems and Magnolia Box have been outstanding and it wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them
