Total scam Company they represented that they were a small store in Malibu that was affected by the fires and I can’t get my money back absolutely awful experience and the dress I received is cheap as can be

I ordered two dresses size xl one is too big, fits more like a 2xl. The other is so small that my size 6 daughter could not get it on neither could her 14 year old daughter but her 8 year old daughter could. The dress is more appropriate as a child size 8 Thay a woman’s xl. Do not shop at Malibu Boutique, it is just more cheap china crap.

No wonder they are going out of business. They make the worst cheap merchandise. I could have bought the dress at Target for half the price.

Wish I’d checked this out before I ordered! Clothes are cheap junk from China that I wouldn’t wear to take out the trash - which is where they belong! Returns have to be shipped to China - might as well just throw it away.

If I could give this company ZERO STARS I would. Everything everyone said on this site is correct…this company is a total SCAM with cheap, disgusting overpriced clothes sent from China. I’ve sent three emails to the company asking for a return authorization and no one emails back. My only recourse is to call my credit card company and dispute the charges. I hope I get my $200 back for this crappy junk.
I fell for their sob story about being a company from Malibu that was lost in the fire. None of that is true whatsoever.

Awful! Total SCAM company! Billing is in Great Britain and clothes are CHEAPEST JUNK EVER from China!
You can’t return items, either. I put in a claim with my bank immediately after ordering because I couldn’t cancel my order when I placed it/way before it ever shipped.
There is no Malibu Boutique that burned to the ground. FRAUD.
I’m reporting them to the FTC. I see they’ve done this with other fake sites, claiming to be going out of business, etc. TOTAL SCAMMERS!!!!

Total scam. Claims it’s going out of business & shows clock ticking down but once at ZERO, it resets. Clothes NOT like photos. Cheap poorly made Chinese junk. Shipped from China. Returns in China-you pay. Be warned.

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! This company is a scam. the product is horrible. It comes from China and not California. They are impersonating a California company that was damaged by the fires. They want you to pay to return. Contact your credit company to attempt getting your money back! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. MY order confirmation indicated that my purchase was shipping to the wrong address. I recognized the error immediately and contacted them to change it, but they refused. Product still hasn’t shipped and they still won’t change the address to correct the error. Also, if you return the item, you are responsible for shipping costs. This is Not a customer friendly business.

I wish I had looked into this terrible company before I ordered. They prey on your sense of wanting to help a store in Malibu damaged by the fire - all a lie! Turns out they are a mail-order scam from China and they have terrible clothing which they want you to pay to return to China!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Scam!! Don’t order anything. It’s horrible quality from China. There should be a law against impersonating sisters from Malibu!

The blouse I ordered is a very poor quality, the size different than what size chart indicates, you are responsible to pay for return, which is more than the value I pay for the blouse, I feel a little stupid that I even considered buying from them.Money went to the trash, I am even embarrassed to donate this blouse.

If there was a ZERO...that would be my rating...DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING from this site. SCAM! Portray themselves as a California company. It's CHINA and the quality is terrible. Tried canceling within an hour of ordering...they would not. Then I'm trying to now return the poorly made clothes and it'll cost me $200. to return to china :(

This is a store from China, not Malibu. Horrible quality and you cannot return. DO NOT BUY!

Perceived a message that my sandals were being shipped. So I checked the tracking number and found out it is coming from China! I can’t believe I have been duped again! The advertisement shows that it is actually a store in Malibu California, but in fact it is not! Thankfully, I used my credit card so I will definitely dispute as I will probably not get the product that was advertised. Based on all of the reviews, this company is a scam. Buyer beware! Horrible!

This looks like the same company (as it has the same clothing line) as Mary's Boutique Malibu. Mary's Boutique is horrible with customer returns as you have to return to CHINA, shipping costs for me are $45.00 and there seems to be no guarantee the garments will get to the correct place as my package has been sitting in China customs for a week. My guess it will come back to me and I will be out the cost of the horrible garments plus shipping of $45.00

This is not a real boutique. I've seen some of their outfits for $80 for sale on Shein for $30. Big scam - and what's worse is they're using a realistic approach of two sisters whose boutique got ruined in the Malibu fires. Really smarmy and pathetic. Sad.

This company is a scam. I ordered from what seemed to be a boutique in Malibu owned by two sisters who had damage from the Cal fires. They are in fact based in Hong Kong. I canceled right away...within hours...but was told my order had already been "fulfilled."Nonsense. I have no shipping confirmation. I will take this up with my credit card company. I feel fooled.

SCAM. As another reviewer stated, they shamlessly lie and portray themselves as a pair of sisters that were victims of the Malibu fire. In truth the "soft fabric" pants/top/cardigan set is a horrible scratchy, shoddily made mess. Do not be taken in. The junk comes mailed from China. Pathetic.

They portrayed themselves as sisters living in Malibu who were closing their shop after the wildfires. SHAME ON YOU taking advantage of a very devastating situation.
