As others have mentioned I've noticed…

As others have mentioned I've noticed several of their staff - Phoebe Violet Jobling, Samantha Yarwood, Tom Molloy and more copy and steal things from local hobby bloggers on Twitter recently. Really sad people and a sad excuse for journalists.

Excess ads

Excess ads, incredibly low brow excuses for stories. The only people that like or retweet their stuff is their staff and in one case some saddo ex editor sat off jobless in Madrid, yet they boast about engagement?! Tabloid drivel that wouldn't exist without the failed regulation of the IPSO and garbage like Press Gazette.

Samantha Yarwood observed copying and…

Samantha Yarwood observed copying and recreating content from local hobby bloggers within days of Jobling being exposed. Beyond bottom of the barrel. Reach Leech Media, Reach Thief Media. The desperation of this tabloid joke & it's staff is actively a problem in the community at this stage.

What is the point of this publication…

What is the point of this publication anymore. You can’t get to the articles through the ridiculous number of spammy ads and when you do manage to battle through them to actually read words you find that the content is put together by a 5 year old or complete nonsense. Local journalism is dead!

MCR evening news not loading

Most times when I open the app it says it is downloading the news, but it doesn't load. You can fix by uninstalling and reinstalling but the problem soon returns. Shame when it works its a good app, but that's not often.

Pop up ads on FB…

Sick to death of This newspapers putting articles on FB then then the minute you start to read it pop ads stop you from reading. Sometimes with a little x in the corner so you can delete it and sometimes not. Won’t waste my time anymore suggest everyone does the same.

The Manchester Evening News used to be…

The Manchester Evening News used to be a great tabloid that reported on actual news events that mattered to people from around the Greater Manchester boroughs..

These days it’s not any better than a gossip mag that seems to report more on pointless celebrity stories starting with the headline “Fans are up in arms about… bla, bla bla”. But if that wasn’t bad enough, they have expanded to reporting on stories from other areas in the UK that has nothing to do with our great city.

All in all, the reading experience has dropped to nothing more than tacky journalism, pointless stories and mind numbing headlines.

Low quality garbage clickbait knocked…

Low quality garbage clickbait knocked out in a desperate fashion by a truly talentless & sad twitter addicted staff of failed baby boomer fake hacks and social media raised no skills, no work ethic gen-y simpletons. Pathetic. A disgrace to humanity let alone Manchester.

The website is absolutely rubbish

The website is absolutely rubbish. I can’t believe a media outlet would persist with such a bad website for so long, it is simply not worth trying to view, go elsewhere for your news.

Avoid! Ads take over, designers must never test it

Clearly the people who design this site never ever use it, or have never tested it especially on mobile. It’s just terrible and unusable, I avoid it now at all costs, you can’t read anything for adverts, when you’re trying to read its jumping about all over the place loading various ads, then it randomly loads another page whilst you’re trying to read it, and sometimes errors saying a problem repeatedly occurred, probably because a browser or server can’t cope with the amount of garbage on it. Avoid at all costs.

Impossible to use

Impossible to use as the page auto loads every few seconds to bring you new ads and you lose your place. I appreciate this is how revenue is made but what’s the point if people can’t read the news. Pointless.
