I would give zero stars if I could. Booked the van and it didn’t turn up, leaving us stranded. Tried to contact the help desk and got no reply. They emailed me 4 weeks later for feedback. Here it is. Awful company, which I won’t use again.

Communication was really easy; we had to change the time/date of the move twice, and rescheduling was not an issue at all.
The guys called us beforehand on the day because they were running late, so we were not left hanging.
The movers were efficient and helpful.

The two movers who were booked for my job were great at communicating on the day of my move. They arrived promptly and were friendly, quick, and efficient. My dining table was difficult to get into my new flat, and they were great to ensure that it got into the dining area without damaging any of the walls or doors. Will definitely use this service again in the future!

Great service from start to finish. Manwithavan was easy to use. Budget Removals did the move itself in a friendly, organised and professional manner.

It's good if you are on a budget. If they give you time slot they come within it. My driver was slightly late due to traffic but not too late for his time slot. If you are tight on time make sure you mention that and you will have to pay extra for that. Make sure you have made all the adjustments if need before 24 HR before the move. Great for budget.

The movers were fast and helpful. My booking was fast. The van is purple and the movers wear a purple shirt that helped me feel like they were serious about moving items and a trustworthy company. The van was big too.

Useless cowboys , late and very unhelpful

I had a ride with Andrew Coll which I booked via the website. I moved from Liverpool to Middlesbrough and I happened to ride in the van. I have found Andrew professional and polite.
He is helpful and man who understands to give respect to his clients. He helped me alot throughout in loading and unloading my parcels.
I will recommend him to anyone who will be booking with the company.

Fantastic movers - would recommend. The two men were professional, very careful with my items, and efficient. Very friendly and stress free to work with. Great price point too - was very impressed!

I hired ManWithaVan and they sent me Alfi Removals Ltd. The issue was that they sent one mover to help move my apartment within a 2 hour time window. The drive alone to my new flat was 45 mins on google, which was concerning. I clarified this with them and they said it was built into the quote.

In summary, one guy showed up. First of all, who only hires one mover. There was no in hell this lone man could have moved my stuff solo in that timeframe. And they say time exceeding the quote is further charged as well. So I basically ended up moving more stuff than the guy who showed up, so I would stay within the time frame.

This is a total scam. I should be getting a 50% refund based on me doing more than 50% of the work.

Despite giving exact details of what I was moving, and having been quoted a medium van, the movers brought a much larger van than I needed and kept trying to convince me that I had to pay for that even though my stuff filled about a fifth of the space in the van. Everything was packed well and I helped them to move everything. They were very pushy and only backed down once I insisted that I wasn’t going to pay extra. Then they practically concede that this is standard practice, so be warned.

Everything went great. The driver arrived on time, helped us quickly load everything in the van, and then unload the items at the new address. He was friendly, responsive to our messages, and very careful with our items. Perfect experience 10/10 👍
