Really helpful on the phone and simple…

Really helpful on the phone and simple to order. Great price. Very pleased with the fridge freezer and exactly as expected.

However the delivery company was rude and delivered earlier than they advised and didn't take the packaging away.
They also never mentioned I had to unplug the old fridge they were collecting well before delivery and said they wouldn't take it, but did in the end.
This is no reflection on Martin Dawes but they may want to review the delivery company they use.

Disgusting

Disgusting! I applied for a dryer I paid the deposit and used clearpay to pay deposit, then 5 minutes later they said it had been declined and any deposits paid will be sent back! Well it wasn’t and I’ve had to pay clearpay they can’t do anything because it’s Martin Dawes fault! And I can’t seem to get hold of anyone to sort it out! I’d like the deposit back asap!!!

The installation team damaged my floor…

The installation team damaged my floor on the day they installed my washing machine the men who installed it told me they had taken pictures of the floor and they would report this when they get back.I had noticed they had ripped the floor and I said something to them straight away about what they had done.It wasn't till 6 months later I emailed Martin Dawes to see what was happening about this as I had heard nothing so they asked me to send them pictures of my damaged floor as they said the men who installed my washing machine showed them the pics but they weren't clear to look at.Anyway I did what they asked it took them 2 weeks to investigate this and I got a email saying they can't do anything about this as it was not reported in the 24 hours of installation.I do not believe this is right or even in the contract I as a customer have emailed them back saying its not good enough and its disgusting how they treat their customers.This was not my falt as the installation team said nothing to me about this only that they will report this when they get back so obviously they did not report it.I am now tempted to take them to a tribunal if nothing is done about this I have asked them to take back the washing machine only to be told I can't break the contract.I will have to continue with the monthly payments if they take it back so I then suggested if they could knock off a few monthly payments for me or give me some compensation.I wait to see what is going to happen over this probably nothing but its worth a shot as I can't afford to get the floor fixed

Sales interface Manager Stuart Glover assistance

I spoke to Stuart Glover in sales with a view to purchasing a washing machine and really appreciated the effort Stuart made to help me with my purchasing decision which in this instance was not practical to follow through simply because the machine was out of stock and the supplier had a lead time which was too long to meet my deadline for replacement.
Thanks again Stuart for your efforts and Martin Dawes is a company I will not be forgetting for all the right reasons.
Great on service and price, and free delivery too.

Never got the telly

Never got the telly. Ended up cancelling as it wasn't in stock and would take over 3 weeks for it to come in . One of these things. Service was good and had no problems with them. Refund was back into my account in a day.

Top Job - Jack

Jack the engineer came round to fix my leaky washing machine. He did an amazing job, explained what was wrong and what he will be doing to fix the problem. He cleaned up after himself and took the rubbish with him. I consider my standards to be high and he was above expectations. Top customer interaction, clear communication Jack is definitely an asset to the company

Very poor service from the delivery…

Very poor service from the delivery team who though helpful were clearly inexperienced with handling these kind of items.

They didn’t appreciate that the old fridge freezer was on wheels so dragged and carried it out damaging the floor covering in three places.

The new fridge freezer didn’t fit through the kitchen door ( our fault) and as a result it is still in our hall four days later. It took me 15 minutes to remove part of the door frame to allow it to fit (1 cm) but they couldn’t wait. After many phone calls with Martin Dawes, who were liaising with delivery company, we are now having to pay a local plumber to move the fridge freezer and plumb it in.

The delivery team evidently had no experience of these items and didn’t know that the new one was also on wheels, nor did they have basic tools e.g. a knife to cut the binding tape of the packaging. Finally, they they also left all of the packaging on our front lawn!

5 ⭐️s to Stuart Glover

5 stars to Stuart Glover! Stuart went above and beyond recently to help me out with a Bosch fridge freezer purchase that I was struggling to order online. We did it the old fashioned way over the telephone! The price of the fridge freezer was already very good on the website and Stuart also gave me a small new customer discount and free delivery. So win win for me all round and a great retail experience! The item hasn’t been delivered yet but I’m sure this will be trouble free also!!

18 month rental agreement now 24 months yet l have no copy of it.
Bunch of tossers and some woman named Diane needs to get a life and lose her very bad attitude.
l will get anything from these idiots again. Cant give zero stars because the PC Brigade at Trustpilot wont allow it

Above and beyond

Keith, Service Engineer from Doncaster, who attended to my Mother-in-Law in Wetherby tonight, went above and beyond in relation to customer service. He took the TV away for repair, but also brought her spare TV down from upstairs so that she could enjoy watching TV in the comfort of her living room. She is 86 years old and was having to use her stair lift to go to her bedroom to watch the TV.
Thank you very much Martin, you’ve made an old woman and her daughter very happy 👏👏

My washing machine and dryer broke within a month twice they brought me a dryer out twice it broke my washing was sent back and turned out it had actually been recalled months before I had the device by the manufacturer for faults! then for months I’ve been waiting for them to come collect the items never came. I informed them straight away the items were left in my garden for them to collect didn’t bother! months go bye I came home and thought they had been turned out scrap man had collected them. Fast forward more months of informing them begging for my final bill and still nothing Facebook post ignored email ignored telephone calls ignored and then out of the blue they sent someone here to collect my outstanding balance he was informed no chance months I’ve been chasing this company month give me the debt of what I owe! I had no washing machine or dryer for over a month when it broke! yet you still took the money of me! So I rang up told the women I want my bill then tried to tell me not until they have the device back you’ve had months to collect the items never bothered! And that it was my fault that the scrap man have taken it! She then said she would be closing my account and sending it to debt collectors! Funny how you’ll pass a debt on but none of you will give the information with what I owe! Your company a joke! Your receptionists have absolutely no manners what so ever and all your company is a scam! You like to try and take advantage of people who can’t afford to buy the items out right! Then take no responsibility when the devices break or you just leave people without stuff like you have done to me!
