My washing machine and dryer broke within a month twice they brought me a dryer out twice it broke my washing was sent back and turned out it had actually been recalled months before I had the device by the manufacturer for faults! then for months I’ve been waiting for them to come collect the items never came. I informed them straight away the items were left in my garden for them to collect didn’t bother! months go bye I came home and thought they had been turned out scrap man had collected them. Fast forward more months of informing them begging for my final bill and still nothing Facebook post ignored email ignored telephone calls ignored and then out of the blue they sent someone here to collect my outstanding balance he was informed no chance months I’ve been chasing this company month give me the debt of what I owe! I had no washing machine or dryer for over a month when it broke! yet you still took the money of me! So I rang up told the women I want my bill then tried to tell me not until they have the device back you’ve had months to collect the items never bothered! And that it was my fault that the scrap man have taken it! She then said she would be closing my account and sending it to debt collectors! Funny how you’ll pass a debt on but none of you will give the information with what I owe! Your company a joke! Your receptionists have absolutely no manners what so ever and all your company is a scam! You like to try and take advantage of people who can’t afford to buy the items out right! Then take no responsibility when the devices break or you just leave people without stuff like you have done to me!

Superb Service.
Ordered a portable hi-fi that happened to be out of stock. Got a quick e-mail to say that the item would be back in stock the following Monday and then be dispatched quickly to me...and it sure was. It arrived on the Tuesday! What a fabulous service. I will certainly consider buying other items from Martin Dawes in the future and have bookmarked their website. Cannot fault them and would recommend to others.

To be honest I was on ebay looking for a Panasonic mini hi-fi and I was directed by a pop-up box to Martin Dawes to a better deal to make a saving I ordered on New Years Day and received the hi-fi two days later I bought it as a treat for my birthday it`s still in it`s box on the whole a great service from Martin Dawes Thank You.

New TV great servivce and price
Ordered a new TV on December 20th delivered the next day in time for Christmas. The price was much cheaper than other retailers I had seen before Christmas and an additonal £15 discount for my first order. All in all very pleased with the TV and service from Martin Dawes
don't beleive the website - make sure they REALLY have stock
Such a shame! I tried to support a 'local', independent business, but they just wasted my time.
Their website said it was in stock and could be delivered in 1 working day, so I ordered, paid and received the acknowledgement. Then it went very quiet - no delivery update, no delivery, nothing. I contacted them and it took several hours to connect to their 'live' webchat (during working hours). When I eventually got connected, they said they didn't have stock or a date when they would have stock ............
I wonder when they were planning to tell me?
They offered a full refund, but even that took a week (and a charge-back request to the credit card provider) before it appeared.
Ordered a Bosch washing machine on 9th…
Ordered a Bosch washing machine on 9th December,
Website showing in stock and I thought free delivery.
When I got to check out it changed £35 for what it calls laundry charge which I reluctantly paid as I had a £15 discount code which softened that blow.
Received an email on 11th telling me the machine is out of stock and expected to be in stock 18th.
I emailed for an update on 19th and got a prompt reply the machine had arrived and delivery would be in the next couple of days.
The machine was delivered on 20th December.
Overall a stressful experience,
The online chat seems to take ages to get a response and I don’t think the website should show items as available when they aren’t.
If you’re thinking about placing an order it may be worth a phone call to check availability first

First time order, never heard of the store before. Great price, very fast turnaround time, good delivery experience.

They had what I needed and I received it fine. Although the item said in stock on the main page and available for next day delivery, it took a week to arrive.
Delivery offered was 7am to 10am on a Sunday morning, which is a bit much after a working week. But could not affort to reschedule as needed the item, so had to get up early on the off chance it arrived at 7am ( it didn't grr).⁰
They are annoying to deal with as the "live chat" never seems to have anyone managing it and the phone takes a while to get answered.
