I attended the St Swithins shop and it was a lovely experience. The aesthetic of the shop was amazing, the service was impeccable and the staff were great at what they do.
I had an eye test and also pick myself up a designer pair of prescription glasses which are made to fit my head. They used top machinery to make sure my eyes are in good health and had the experience to help pick glasses which suited me best from their wide range of frames.

I couldn’t recommend these guys more. For a fabulous experience, top quality and fair prices then visit the St Swithins shop.

I experienced issues with my old optician and so I thought I would give Masons Avenue Opticians a go having heard they were good. I arranged an eye test, the prescription of which differed to that of my old optician, selected new frames and received them within 2 working days. It was super quick and efficient. They are very welcoming there and a special mention to Kay, Rush and Cathy for undertaking my test. The whole team there are very nice and polite and certainly know their stuff.

Visiting this opticians is always a pleasure! The staff are kind, friendly and welcoming, as well as efficient and thorough. They have state of the art equipment and the opticians are knowledgeable and patient. Masons Avenue Opticians have been looking after my eyes for well over 20 years and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

I’ve been coming to this opticians for over 20 years and despite trying somewhere else when I moved away from the City, I’ve continued to come here. They are friendly and professional and most of all I trust them. They are extremely knowledgeable and keep up to date with the latest eye technology/scanners. I would highly recommend.

Very slick and professional, customer service is exemplary, Kwabena is super helpful and takes the time to clarify/answer questions, he has customer service nailed! Alex is great and explained the different tests thoroughly, impressed MA opticians have this technology, i wouldn't hesitate to recommend Masons Avenue Opticians.

I’ve been going to Masons Avenue for nearly forty years and there’s a reason for that. Excellent, professional and kind service. When it comes to one’s eye health, there really are no compromises. With a rich legacy stretching back decades, contemporary equipment and surroundings and wonderful people I have no reservations in wholeheartedly recommending Masons.

Lovely personal service in very relaxed surroundings.

I have been a customer at Masons Avenue for the past 8 years. Their expertise, attention and care are second to none. I have keratoconus, and they consistently carry out a range of checks on the health of my eyes as part of my annual eye test. I have always been happy with the prescription we arrive at, as the eye tests are thorough and not rushed.

I also love the selection of stylish designer frames.

Absolutely first-class customer service. Always polite and efficient, but really take time to understand your needs and find glasses to suit. 48-hour express service is also great if you need spare glasses in a hurry!

I travelled into London recently for an overnight and somehow forgot to pack my contacts. When I discovered my mistake I knew I was in trouble- I have very poor eyesight and would struggle to navigate in the City without my lenses. I popped into HBD, where I have been a customer for many years, and they gave me an emergency supply. This enabled me to finish my work for the day and get home safely. They were brilliant!

Overall very friendly, helpful and gave good service. Only drawback was their refusal to recommend women's styles which my wife was asking about to save time - was told "oh no we're not allowed to do that" which is a bit silly as this is just a matter of customer convenience and time saving rather than ideology.
