Faulty lock, no customer service.

Bought a combination lock and used it only twice. Unable to open it so stuck on suitcase. Connected company twice but no response. Would advise not to buy any Master Lock products.

I bought 4 locks in one package

I bought 4 locks in one package. Only 2 keys! Need more keys and can't order. And, there's no way to get more copies. Will never do this again. Very disappointing. I've "locked out" Master Lock from my future purchases.

Worst company ever dealt with!

I waited on hold for 17 minutes just to speak with someone! I immediately returned the keys and was told that I would have to wait 30-45 days for the credit. Now I'm being told I have to wait another 30-45 days from July 1! Worst company that I have ever dealt with! Will never buy their product again! I will be contacting BBB! I will say that Amber was wonderful and very helpful!

Terrible customer service

This company has terrible customer service. You’ll wait on hold for half an hour before you can talk to someone. The battery ran out on my combination safe and, even though I know the combination, the safe won’t open. I contacted them on April 19th and was told hot $31 they would send me a key that could open the safe. After 30 days, I’d still not heard from them and I called, waited on hold, and then told the key “is on back order” and won’t arrive until August. I should expect my key around mid September”. I can see why 80% of this company’s reviews are 1 star

Awesone Master Lock bluetooth key safe

I already had a Master Lock key safe but upgraded it and bought the Bluetooth Key Safe 5441EURD - S, very easy to set up, very sturdy and heavy, and can give up to five personsl numbers out as well or open it from my
iphone, it does everything it says it can and by far the best on the market, i do not have one negative thing to say about it

Be aware of the combination Master Lock

Purchased the round combination lock about a year ago for my tool cabinet. A few days ago I tried 4X's to open the lock & it would not open. I trusted this lock because it's been around for centuries. I have extremely important Tools in this cabinet and I had no idea what to do. This lock is not to be trusted and it is not reliable. I read the reviews on all their combination locks and they had absolutely no good reviews. I now have no idea how to get into this cabinet

No customer experience whatsoever

No customer experience whatsoever. Their padlocks are sold with a warranty, which is totally meaningless because the only way to make contact with them is via their online web form - I have done that 3 times over 3 weeks (uploading photos and including serial numbers as requested) and no one has contacted me. I telephoned their UK head office and there's no answer. Don't buy Master locks - buy Squires - they are really nice and helpful and immediately replaced a faulty padlock when I had to contact them.

Master combination lock M40DNUM

Bought the master combination lock today (model M40DNUM) and followed the instructions to successfully change the combination. Now it won’t open and the combination key will not turn. I know it’s the right combination as it’s one I’m familiar with.

In addition, the dial is awful and the the numbers, especially the last one, are awkward to turn and line up.

I have contacted the company to request a change to a regular key operated lock so will see what they say.

SentrySafe Customer Service is Non-Existent

SentrySafe Customer Service is non-existent. Had to wait on the phone for 40 minutes in the U.S. before someone got on the line to answer one simple question. The recording (while you're on hold) blames horrendous answering times on covid. No, they just need to triple the size of the "Customer Service" team. The Master Lock Company LLC CEO needs to be required to call the SentrySafe "Customer Service" 1-800 number to see for himself/herself how SentrySafe customers receive pitifull "Customer Service"

Some minor annoyances

Master Lock Magnum model m175 xdlf

The only problem with this lock is it's not really easy to open up. you really have to yank on it.

Also the rubber flap on the bottom which I assume is designed for weather conditions really doesn't stay covered on the numbers. I don't understand what the point of the rubber flap is if doesn't stay covered on the numbers

Masterlock bluetooth Key Safe

I can see why the reviews are so bad on here given my experience of this shambles of a Company. My company purchased a MasterLock bluetooth remote key safe via a security company and it has worked well for 6 months. We decided to install the very same product at a property in the Midlands. I went on the company website who advise customers who the selected suppliers are. I contacted all of them and the only supplier to carry this was Amazon so I went ahead with the purchase from them. The product arrived quickly, and I went to set it up as we did the first one. We were given an activation code and product ID as before and went through the simple process of set up. Both the phone set up and on-line account set up failed and gave us an email address to contact them for an 'upgrade'. We contacted them on Monday 17th May with the required information and got an automated reply that they would come back to us as soon as they could. By Thursday we had heard nothing in spite of sending reminder requests so have had to return the product. I attempted to contact them through Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn and still got no reply. The key safe has been returned and we will be moving to a manufacturer who values customer service.

Wonderful service. Thankyou

Screwfix did not want to know when one of my Masterlock Combination padlocks broke after 16 months use on a little used shed quoting a 12 month guarantee despite the part lifetime warranty on the packing
So a call to Master lock in the USA and they are sending me a replacement and we’re happy to do so

Genuinely the worst company - avoid!

Genuinely the worst company I have ever dealt with. Happy to take your money in the U.K. but offer no customer service whatsoever. None of the UK based numbers work or receive responses. The USA based U.K. help line detailed on the website is only open in line with US times and takes 30 minutes to get through to, just to tell you that they can’t help U.K. customers and advise you to call the EU helpline? No response to emails, online support form, or messenger. I’m left with a malfunctioning £300 safe that I can’t access essential paperwork for my father’s funeral arrangements and am needing to call out a locksmith at the cost of £235 during a pandemic. Please think very carefully before purchasing from master lock in the U.K.

Seriously i would give no stars if able…

Seriously i would give no stars if able they only got one star as it is the lowest that can be given. This is the second key safe we have purchased and has yet again failed ( both within 12 months of purchase). The key safe would not open despite attempts by 4 different people for over 2 hours . This left my elderly disabled mother in the house alone as carers were unable to gain entry . Every attempt to contact the company failed including 6 emails ( no reply to any) and 6 phone calls 5 of which were to non existent numbers the fifth was a secretary who was at home self isolating and the best advice they gave was buy another one from screwfix and physically knock the existing one off the wall as there is no other way to rectify this . No customer services in the uk just one sales office not manned due to covid 19as per the government guidelines. I would never recommend or buy another product from them and would strongly advise against you doing so . Lifetime guarantee it states clearly on the box ....... well good luck with that one . Totally shambolic .
