Camper an was less than two years old.
Plenty of grunt and drove well.
Had to tape all the drawers and doors shut when moving otherwise they all flung open, plates cutlery rubbish bin etc...all over the place.
House battery was stuffed and required replacing. I was told it was a charging issue. It wasnt. Eventually they replaced the battery. So no power unless the camper was running.
Various other issues.
Over priced
Should have hired a car and booked air bnb or taken a tent

Check in and check out at the pickup point was excellent service, hassle free, knowledgeable and very understanding.

Spent thousands of dollars on a van for our honeymoon. Called support twice and they couldn't help. Upon dropoff, the agent was incredibly rude and dismissive of our issue despite a mechanic agreeing they were at fault.

Maui motorhome had everything and it was our home for the whole week. We loved the service and care given to us for the trip. Thank you :)

My drawer has fall off since d1 or 2 of the trip but overall stay in the motor home was great. The guys at the office give us some deductible due to our defect. So I think the service is good.

Véhicule is great. Check-in and checkout efficient. To be improved : bedsheet smell mouldy. Was the same last time. Paying more for newer véhicule should get us better linen, in my opinion.

The staff, especially the manager at the Christchurch location were not only unhelpful but also extremely rude. It was a simply horrible experience that we had to deal with these people.

Great van - well equipped (save for proper bread knife and cafetière in ours although I think others had them) - easy to drive - very friendly and professional service which responded well to our ferry being cancelled. Would use again.

Actual star rating would have been 3.5. The 4-6 berth motorhome was mechanically very good and drove well. Everything as detailed in the hire agreement was provided and was in good condition. Our only issue was that when driving the cupboards constantly rattled and made excessive noise which was a) annoying and b) was excessive. The motorhome had approx 62k on the clock.

I got everythings that I expected during my road trip, thanks to Maui and all staffs.

Pretty good. About comparable to other hire outfits. The only criticism is the booking out and booking in process at THL HQ which given the amount of staff present is really inefficient. This is my second time hiring a camper from THL and we waited upto 2 hrs on both occasions before managing to get anywhere near a vehicle. The staff are great although, (understandably), slightly drained from the workload and perhaps some more of the needy hire customers)
Definitely need at least another booking in/out terminal to manage peak booking periods at the very least. (One lady was on the check in desk managing a queue of 25 people)

If you are getting a flight or travel connection the same day as your drop off, leave at least 2.5 hrs for the booking out process/shuttle transfer as a minimum.

Quick pick up service and very close to where we picked up campervan. The staff were very friendly and the whole process was very quick and easy. We had the most amazing holiday in our campervan and would thoroughily recommend it as a way to see our beautiful country.

Quality of the van we rented and customer service

Customer service was extremely poor,the on board toilet kept flooding the shower base and smelt horrendous even after we changed plans and took the van into queenstown to get the toilet sorted it still did it
On returning the van they tried to charge us for the diesel tax and cleaning,but we had already paid the extra not to have to, if only the staff read our contract before they would of known. Not impressed by the staff at Christchurch bar for the driver who shuttled us between the airport and your site

The service is super bad. The campervan has issue with their software, campervan not able to engine start & show sign of motor failure. Call customer service for support and the 1st word they tell you is about costing. Not about how they can help or understand the situation 1st. Worst experience.

Nice and easy check in crew where helpful. Van was so clean and fresh we enjoyed our trip around the south
