For anyone wanting to buy a car AVOID MAYFAIR MOTOR SOLUTIONS
For anyone wanting to buy a car, I strongly advise you to avoid purchasing a car from Mayfair Motor Solutions in Marble Arch, London. I recently purchased a Seat Ibiza from them and before even getting home with the vehicle, it went into lint mode on the motorway and I had to pull over on the hard shoulder. When speaking with the staff at Mayfair motors, I did not feel happy with the customer service provided and was recommended to call my breakdown cover. I asked if they would reimburse me the excess charge of this and they said they couldn’t say. They did not offer support when I was stuck on the motorway and just said they were closed. I had to arrange returning the car back to the garage myself and had to pay £300 altogether in recovery to get my car home on the day of purchase and to return the vehicle back to the garage. The company did not compensate or reimburse me for paying for the recovery, although the car was faulty which was no fault of my own, as well as the fact I have lost a day and a half of work, stress of pulling over on the hard shoulder and purchasing a faulty car. When I returned the vehicle back to the garage, one of the staff said a snarky remark, stating that they will be checking the car for any damage and the millage before refunding me the money for the car and that it may not be in my bank until midnight. I explained to the staff member that I was not leaving there until the money was in my bank and shortly after a staff member, who I believe was the manger, had transferred me the money back and said it should be in my bank within 1/2 minutes. I had an awful experience with this garage, no compensation for anything listed above and no support offered to return the vehicle. Please do not purchase any vehicles from this company for your own good!
