Very good estate agency service with a local touch.
Staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and communication is excellent.
From initial valuation, right through to completion, all aspects of the service were handled well and gave me a trouble free house sale.

Nicky led a super team who provided thoughtful attention throughout the challenging experience. The photographs made us proud of our home and the handling of viewings in the time of Covid was faultless. Unfortunately our original buyer died of Covid, but Nicky managed the situation faultlessly. The careful vetting of buyers ensured no time was wasted and Nicky's experienced hands helped calm nerves throughout what people consider to be one of the more stressful experiences of their lives. Highly recommended, wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

Very professional with a personal caring attitude.
I didn't bother contacting any other agents after my visit & valuation with MCM, I was very satisfied with their approach and instantly decided to use them to sell my property. Although the Coronavirus situation caused so many months of delay with the actual completion of the sale, Nicky, Tina and the team kept me updated throughout and were always polite and helpful giving me a great service and I would be pleased to recommend MCM to others.

Hard to know where to begin. I am overwhelmed with the people in this estate agency. Nothing is too much trouble. They are extremely professional, very caring about their clients and go the extra mile at all times. There is no pressure to sign up to their agency but once you do they do everything they can to help you to sell your house and are efficient and extremely responsive to each query and update. I almost feel Tina is a friend as she is totally supportive and ultra efficient as are her colleagues. I count myself lucky.

Initially easy to book in to view this property via the phone.

The advert stated 'charming two bedroom property, ideal for first time buyers with a well maintained private feel garden'

I am absolutely appalled. I arrive at 4.50pm for my 5oclock viewing, waiting outside the property the agent completely ignores me as she lately arrives and hurriedly ushers in an old couple who I learn later are late for their own appointment at 4.45pm.

I am kept waiting until 5.35pm until they leave. I knock on the door of the property where I see the agent and ask why I have been waiting.

The first excuse is that there is a mix up with the previous clients times, the second is that she tried to ring me (no missed calls on my phone), the third is I should have entered the property whilst the other viewing was in progress, the fourth is she looked out the window and I wasn't there.

I would never presume to enter when another viewing is in progress nor would I want to view  the property with others there. Its awkward, unprofessional and discourteous on the part of the agent and felt this was not a good experience for potential buyers.

Upon entering the property I ask about the sign outside. It states sold stc. I am told that the sale fell through because a previous buyer had completed a survey in which damp was severe enough in the walls to warrant this.

I am told that the building is a converted shop and that the conversion has not been full signed off in the kitchen due to an extraction fan.

There is no carpet in the living room due to flea infestation.

There is urine ingrained into the broken wooden floor panels.

The kitchen fixtures are chewed extensively by dogs.

There is a ceiling to near floor crack behind the plaster in the front room.

The garden has shared access between four houses. It is overgrown and not well maintained.

After this review was posted, the listing for the property on it is now described as in need of some renovation on mcm estates and lettings.com which is an improvement and shows that this review's constructive criticism has been taken on board.

We have sold 3 houses in the last year with these guys. They are extremely efficient, know the local vibe and how to pitch the sale. Take fabulous images and communication is excellent. Highly recommended!

This is the second house I have sold through MCM Estates and Lettings. They are realistic in their valuations and very professional yet also friendly and sincere. I was kept informed throughout the process and Nicky was friendly and knowledgeable. She was proactive and she made the whole process as seamless as possible. I would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely brilliant company. We tried the big high street names and were so fed up of their extortionate fees, their awful sales patter and their incompetence we gave MCM a go and did not regret it. Professional from the start, informative on what they will do for you, no hard sell which was very refreshing and after having our house on the market with a high street name for over a year with hardly any viewings, MCM sold our house within a few months. The communication was very good from start to finish and they do not charge extra for high quality photos which were brilliant. Very highly recommended.
