I was unsure about switching to an electric vehicle but having spoken to McNally EV on a number of occasions, who are very knowledgeable and patient, I decided to go for it.
When my car arrived, McNally EV installed my charge point. I was so impressed with this company. From initial contact through to install they were professional and personal. The office staff couldn’t be more helpful and the engineers were knowledgeable, friendly and tidy. Even in the pouring rain their work was immaculate and they took the time to show us how the app for our charger works.
So pleased. Thank you.

McNallyEv have been absolutely fantastic from the start right until the end. I really didnt know what home charger i was looking for, with so many different chargers out there, i was really in the dark. I had research online and saw McNallyEv was highly recommended and gave them a call. Right from the first conversation, to the install was amazing, they provided all the much needed advice and guidance which is what i needed. Install day came, they arrived on time and the engineers were so friendly and courteous and also very covid compliant. I cant recommended them enough and will definitely use them again. My charger was booked and installed within a week. The installation engineer was very professional, he arrived on time, did a fantastic job, left no mess and was extremely helpful working around us when he needed to turn the power off. He also offered us good tips and advice. I would definitely recommend wepoweryourcar. Competitively priced too for the efficient service we received. Thanks Aaron, it was lovely to meet you.

I have had to have two of the three installations rewired as they had fauls and did not meet Regs.
They were late with applying for the grants, and the service was terrible and disorganised.

McNally engineers promptly installed the EO Home Charger. The first charger failed after a week (not a reflection of the install), and McNally installed the replacement provided by EO. It has been working fine all Winter, even in the horrible weather we had.

This company is not trustworthy. Be very careful. Their prices and quotations change frequently. If they visit you for a proper quote, they will charge £85 ahead of that visit, then double the quotation, then tell you your £85 is non refundable. No one in the office, including the director Mr McNally would have any sense of honesty or customer service relations. My money is lost.

Ordered a Rolec smart home charger using the OLEV grant, and McNally were the local electrician selected for the job.

Communications were fast and polite, the price was as predicted and the install date was very quick. The job only took a couple of hours in total, and they were happy to demo the car charger to me.

I don't have an EV yet, so not able to verify that it charges the car/works. I'll update this review if there are any problems.

I cannot understand previous review.... I have just had an EV Home Charger installed at my house in Sheffield.Two really pleasant/knowledgeable chaps did the installation (Jonny & Joe) Prior to installation I was kept well informed by Rachael & Katie in the office - Company worth recommending.

Was put in touch with these people to install an EV charging point. Because of a slightly complicated install, they asked to do a survey first. The guy came (eventually - they specify a small number of convenient days for them), assessed the area and we agreed a plan. I was to dig a trench all round the house, they would lay armoured cable, install socket, etc. Perfectly reasonable so far. On the day of install (again, eventually - only infrequent days are available) the installer turned up, but nobody had told him he needed armoured cable. I was offered another date three weeks later. At this point I had the back steps in pieces, a trench across my lawn, turf up, earth in piles on plastic sheet, etc. Three weeks wasn't an option. We agreed they would drop off some armoured cable so I could get it in the ground and fill things in, with them coming to do the electrical work on the offered date. When the cable arrived, it was too short by 10m - the guy who did the survey hadn't even measured the length. We gave up and found another company to do the install. Even starting from scratch, AMP EV managed to get it all installed earlier than the jokers at McNally Group were going to (maybe) get the job finished. Do not use McNally!
