Charged me $63 to stop MDlive calling me

I was told they would help me find a Dr to see. I told them I didn’t need help finding someone to visit and thought I’d be speaking with a professional when I called.
Then Mdlive kept calling me back 6 times until I answered, I was told I had to give my birthday to stop the calls
I was charged $63 when I answered MDlive calling me and asked MDlive to stop calling me

Terrible “bedside manner” with Pardeep…

Terrible “bedside manner” with Pardeep K. Shori out of Texas. If I could give a zero star I would. Rude and obnoxious. Hung up the phone on me. Don’t use this service. I’ve had other telemedicine providers & services and they did not talk to you like trash like this one did.

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. It’s a waste of time! Third time we have used this service and they refuse antibiotics. We end up having to go to urgent care so they can access in person. I won’t be using them again. They claim they don’t issue antibiotics but they prescribed them to my daughter for the exact same symptoms! It’s a joke!

Took my money, provided NO SERVICE

I told them exactly what I needed and asked if they could help. They said that wasn't a problem before they took my payment. In the consult, I was told they could not help. This "service" is an absolute scam!

Their website is broken

Their website is broken. In the span of 43 minutes, it logged me (an active user) out 13 times while I was trying to chat with a rep to set up a virtual appointment. It was extremely annoying and frustrating. I finally gave up and went elsewhere. When I told the rep about the logouts during the chat (while the system kept logging me out), she apologized but did not respond when I asked her how to prevent the logouts and she didn't try to help on that front. I'll never use MDLive again.

Terrible

Terrible. If I could give a minus rating , I would. I used E treatment and used the option without speaking to a doctor. I got a diagnosed that was not close to what I have. I had an irritated throat and wanted antibiotic treatment to avoid a secondary infection. I received a diagnose for and was prescribed meds for COPD. I did not received a written diagnoses , just prescribed meds and a bill. They refused to give me a refund If I took the meds , I would be sick. TERRIBLE

Biggest scam in health care

Biggest scam in health care! They partner with Cigna and lead you on to believe that they will treat you. That is far from what they do. They take your $63 and refer you to an urgent care, where of course you will have to spend more money. Save yourself some money and just go to an urgent care. Spoke to customer service, which was rude and stuck to there no refund policy. What a bunch of crooks!

RUN DON’T WALK AWAY

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I’d give it less than one star if I could. The doctor called me early and I missed the call by 30 seconds. Called back immediately and they said that the doctor already marked it as a missed appointment and their policy states I have to reschedule- even though it was still my appointment time!!! Then I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the representative trying to reschedule the appointment and she kept giving me false information (wrong time zone, date that didn’t match with the day of the week, etc) and after all that she said there’s an error and they can’t reschedule me. AND THEY ARE TRYING TO CHARGE ME A NO SHOW FEE EVEN THOUGH THEY CALLED ME BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT TIME. Worst experience I’ve ever had. STAY AWAY.

Do not waste your time or money

I scheduled an initial consult and waited a week for the appointment. 10 minutes before the appointment I had my phone ready and logged onto the website as directed. The first call I received was two minutes after my appointment time stating that I needed to reschedule the appointment. I was very frustrated and did not want to reschedule, I wanted to have the appointment I had been waiting a week for. I left a voicemail for a supervisor but never received a call back. Now I noticed I was charged $50. I tried calling in today and was told I am being charged because I missed the appointment and had to leave a voicemail for the supervisor. I have looked up the provider I was scheduled with, Dr. Jesse Costales, MD, and it looks like he has a 1.7 rating and a lot of reviews stating he no called no showed and people waited for hours and he never showed to their appointments. It looks like this is a pattern for the doctor and yet these services still let patients schedule with him and then charge the patients when he doesn't show up.

They charge $63 for us to wait for 2 hours at a screen that says with “Starts in 10 minutes or less” message. Worst service I’ve ever seen. Makes the DMV look efficient and friendly.

I would not give it a one but I had to…

I would not give it a one but I had to choose something. I had the worst experience that I could have ever imagined with this company today. I had a sore throat and fever and feel absolutely terrible. I get strep throat often and I believe that’s what I had. After I took a picture and uploaded everything they canceled my appointment twice. Then the doctor logged on and the first thing she said was she can’t do anything for me at all. After they already took my money. She told me only 5% of adults get strep. And refused to give me a refund. If they could not do anything then why did they make me take a picture of my throat and put all my symptoms. They did absolutely nothing for me after already collecting my money and refusing to give refund. Very sad!!!

Daily calls; text, and emails!!!

Only if you want to be harassed daily with appointment reminders. I've emailed and called support, and though I was told they removed my reminders, I still receive daily texts, calls, and emails. It's beyond harassment when there's no way to opt out—no unsubscribe button, and replying "stop" to the text only confirms my appointment! Even blocking their number doesn’t help. It’s overly controlling and harassing, giving me more anxiety than I started with!

Be careful which doctor you get.

The doctor didn't not listen to me and called in the wrong medication. He called in allergy medicine and cough medicine when I had a sinus infection. I even told him I had a sinus infection. I had no cough and he never even asked if I was coughing, yet he called in cough medicine. I had to call back in and get another doctor to call me and they called in the medicine for a sinus infection. I left a bad review for the first doctor and my account was deactivated later that day. I called to see why my account was deactivated and they said I needed to update my info? Really??? They just had all my info earlier that day, until I left the review.

If I could select 0 stars I would

If I could select 0 stars I would. I scheduled an appointment that was much needed and anticipated. I waited for the call with my ring volume up and phone in hand. The time arrived and passed by approximately 3-4 minutes and I received an automated phone call that stated I missed my appointment but I could connect with customer service. The customer service agent already had a script to deliver explaining that I couldn't receive the call because of my phone settings. They charged me for the full appointment and they do not have a fail safe to connect you with the doctor. It was 4 minutes past the time the appointment would have started. Meaning the appointment would have still been going on, but the customer support agent is not even provided with the tools to connect you to your appointment. This is a scam. What's worse is that they are preying on people attempting to seek medical care. I regret that I didn't read reviews beforehand. This is not an uncommon occurrence. This is a scam. They will take your money.

Waste of time!!!

Waste of time, don't do consultations here. I had an interview with a specialist and he told he couldn't give me a doctor note for hemorrhoids without prior visits with them and there wasn't anything he could do. He also told me I should see a urgent care for my needs and hopefully get treated. The help desk like that they do give doctors note for hemorrhoids but I ended up not getting a refund for my wasted time as they said the doctor already treated me. Never doing an online doctor visit again!!

I would give a zero if possible

I would give a zero if possible. They are a fraudulent service who make false promises and do not deliver. You risk your health waiting for the doctors who never call, even as their automated robots call you and promise that, even though the doctor is late, the doctor will call "as soon as possible." You might as well wait for Godot. The doctor never calls. I have never dealt with such a duplicitous and deceptive enterprise.

Liars

I have the flu, the dr confirmed it on the call. When I asked for a note for work missed the dr said only for today. I stated the documents online they make you attest your read state:
If you have already missed work or school due to your illness, your MDLIVE doctor can provide a note to excuse up to two missed
days before you had your MDLIVE visit. To receive a doctor's note to excuse your absence, simply request this from your doctor during your MDLIVE visit.the Dr said that is not an option or.possible. waste of time and wpuld.never recommend. I went to an urgent care and got the help needed and a note.
