Spoke to the online chat function as I needed to clarify my eligibility to claim. The person online told me incorrect information causing alot of unnecessary stress during an already stressful time. After spending 2+ hours sorting the situation through both chat and on the phone I discovered I had actually been given the incorrect information. I lodged a complaint on the 19th of June and never even heard back. Online chat operators need more training and customer service needs attention, it has been a very disappointing experience with medibank.

It has been easier to claim online using the app since the glitch has been fixed but to streamline the process, if the customer is claiming the same medication each time, then I don’t believe you need to ask for the script number and prescribing Dr every time
