We are a family from Macedonia, and the youngest member of our family is an oncology patient. We came to Medicana Ataşehir in Turkey for treatment — a journey that is emotionally and logistically challenging, especially in a foreign country, far from home.

I went to Medicana for a medical procedure. The staff was very nice and professional, treated me like a VIP. Sezin, my interpretor, was wonderful and came with me for all the tests preceding the procedure, which made the process very easy. Highly recommend Medicana.

I attended the Atakoy Medicana Hospital in April for an elective full double mastectomy and reconstruction. My surgeon was Dr. Ali Kaan Memis. This surgeon is outstanding. He is highly skilled and my consultation with him before my surgery was extensive. I had the whole procedure explained clearly and the type of reconstruction was planned to suit my frame and look as natural as possible. The results were far better than I could have ever imagined. He managed to reduce the size of my breasts considerably and managed to remove the old scaring from my previous surgery. I am incredibly happy with the results.
Dr. Ali was available 24 hours per day if required to ensure my post operative care was to the highest standard. He was exceptionally gentle when he tended to my post operative wounds and nothing was too much trouble for him. He is very kind and approachable. He answered all my questions with patience and ensured that other members of staff that were also involved in my care, kept their standards high. I had an English interpreter available 24 hours a day if necessary. He was also excellent.
The hospital was very modern and had high standards of cleanliness. The food was of good quality and healthy.
I cannot fault the care that I received and would not hesitate to return to this surgeon and hospital if I required any further procedures.

We had such a good experience at Medicana a couple of years ago, that in November 2024 my wife once more decided to go to Medicana in Ankara for treatment, We were looked after by a caring, professional and thoughtful lady called Soman Rahimi. She took so much time & effort to make sure all the medical treatments at Medicana were arranged, made sure we had transport to and from the Hospital and acted as our translator whilst we were under the care of the medical staff. We felt that she really had our best interests as her priority - it was excellent.

The medical treatment my wife had from the specialist doctors at Medicana and the continued follow up care was also excellent. We would recommend this hospital and the superb staff very highly. If there were 10 star reviews, I would happily give 10 out of 10 without hesitation.
