appalling, just appalling product quality and customer service
After I expressed to them clearly I did not want their cheap replacement parts, but would have preferred to get my money back, this was their response: "We are happy to send you the replacement parts. However, we kindly request that you provide us with a photo of the defective part. This will help us ensure that the replacement parts can solve the problem and are available for shipment." I wrote one more time repeating that I did not want a replacement, because it is just a cheap quality product, I just wanted my money back, their response: "Hello M, If you cannot provide any pictures or videos to illustrate the product's defects, then we cannot provide you with any after-sales service." And that's it! Radio silence after that. For full effect, they don't even make an effort to respond to these bad reviews! That alone should ring all alarm bells BEFORE you even go buy from them. I should have listened to other reviewers before giving my money to these people.
Great product and quality
Great product and quality. I bought an easel and liked it so much i bought the larger one that even lays flat. I turned one of the fixing knobs too hard and they sent new replacements without question or charge. Great customer service.
I've since bought the art stand with drawers and I love it. The products are well made and solid and easy to assemble. Meeden is definitely my 'go to' store for my art equipment
Faulty Item and Lack of post sales support
Purchased two expensive Art stand items from this company. The First one turned out to be faulty and no replacement was provided. The only offer was a small cash refund. Support was poor and slow in response.
Be aware that this company appears to manufacture most of its products in China and ships to UK, from what I can see. Therefore, any follow-up support for replacement of any items is extremely poor and rational offered by the company for not replacing is cost of shipping. Given nothing is made of glass and generally lightweight this seems a poor excuse.
When you lay out over £300 for an art item you expect far more in terms of real support, particularly given this company markets heavily on social media s a quality product.
So be aware of this before you make a purchase.
Meeden Art – Avoid
Four weeks and counting, and Meeden Art still hasn’t delivered my parcel. No proactive updates, no ownership of the problem, and no meaningful resolution. Their communication has been appalling: slow, evasive, and effectively useless.
If something goes wrong with your order, expect to be ignored or fobbed off rather than helped. This isn’t a courier delay issue anymore; it’s a basic failure of customer service and accountability.
Plenty of companies sell similar products. Choose one that can actually deliver them — and communicate like a competent business.
Unacceptable
To whom it may concern,
I am writing to formally complain about your failure to deliver the primary item purchased under Order Number 3564AU, which was confirmed by you on 30 November 2025 — 36 days ago.
This order was placed well in advance specifically because the item was intended to be a Christmas present for my wife. I deliberately ordered early to avoid exactly this situation.
While the secondary items from the same order were delivered within approximately 14 days, the main item — the cart — has not been delivered, and I have received no adequate explanation as to why.
This is completely unacceptable.
The cart was the major component of the gift, and its non-delivery has resulted in the disappointment of Christmas itself, despite my having done everything reasonably expected of a customer by ordering early and relying on your confirmation that the order was processed.
At this point, I expect:
1. A clear and immediate explanation as to why the cart has not been delivered
2. Written confirmation of when it will be delivered, or
3. Appropriate compensation for your failure to deliver the primary item and the resulting inconvenience and disappointment
I am extremely dissatisfied with how this has been handled and expect this matter to be escalated and resolved promptly.
I look forward to your urgent response.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, order placed in October delivery not made as promised now December. Standard auto bull reply to specific enquiry.
No damage, next day delivered
Great easel came the next day, which was a surprise! Delivered by XDP without any damage, which was also a surprise, cause reading those other reviews I was ready to complain the same moment it was delivered to my door, but no, all good, happy customer!
Credit Where It Is Due
I purchased an oil painting kit from Meeden UK. I had not read some of below reviews until after ordering so I was a little concerned. When my delivery arrived, I opened it and could see immediately that the easel had some transit damage. I contacted Meeden and they sent out a full replacement easel within a couple of days. This arrived undamaged. Excellent customer service despite the initial problem!
Outstanding service
I have nothing but great things to say about Meeden. Their service is absolutely outstanding! I’ve purchased items both through Amazon and directly from their website, and their aftercare is among the best I’ve ever experienced; possibly the best. It’s rare to find a company that combines quality products with such exceptional customer support. Highly recommended!
Damaged easel…
The first easel arrived in very poor packaging so had multiple dents in the wood. Meeden sent a replacement and although not as damaged as the first was still covered in dents. We were advised to cobble together an easel from the two however due to the damaged pieces, different fittings this is proving very difficult and unacceptable when purchased a ‘good’ quality and not cheap easel. Meeden are refusing to collect the 2 damaged easels and refund the money. I would suggest you look to purchase from another company so you receive your purchase in a condition expected when purchasing a new item.
High-Quality Easel, Quick Shipment
I bought the MEEDEN Versatile Studio H-Frame Artist Easel (Walnut W14) and I couldn’t be happier with my experience.
• The product is exactly as described and looks just like the pictures.
• Materials feel high-quality and the assembly instructions were straightforward.
• Delivery was impressively fast — only 3 days from Germany.
• On top of that, I was able to use a 32% discount on their website.
At first, I was hesitant to order because of the low ratings for Meeden NL here, but my own experience has been excellent. Everything went smoothly from purchase to delivery, and the easel itself is great.

Still no delivery after 3 weeks of order
I ordered an easel from Meeden Art on May 31, and as of today (June 23), I have still not received it. The tracking number they provided is invalid and untraceable. I’ve reached out for support, but the issue remains unresolved.
This experience has been extremely disappointing, I personally find the company untrustworthy and would not recommend buying from them.

Finally came through.
Final update: the unexpected service charge has been refunded.
Update: Meeden finally came through and satisfied all issues. This was not a pleasant experience by any means but at least they did finally come through.
Awful customer service. I never got my shipment and they refused to do anything about it. I was a very good customer; bought several items but I’m done with them now.
Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company. They took my order and my money and 6 weeks later I’m still waiting for a resolution to not receiving my item or a refund. Their communication is very low quality. I ordered an easel and regretted it straight away as they said they were out of stock but they would fulfil my order the following week. This was a weekly exchange with MEEDEN taking 24-48 hrs to respond. Everytime I asked for a refund they said the stock was due in. In the end, after 6 weeks, I lost my patience. I’m very sceptical of all their social media content, the reviews on Trustpilot are clearly fake and I’m not sure if this company even exists at all. The creative community should avoid this company and their products.
NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE
I purchased 2 of Medeen’s deluxe multi- function heavy duty large artist easels. On one of the easels the knob is stripped so it no longer can adjust up or down in the front of the easel. The first time I contacted them they responded and asked for pictures which I sent. I never heard back from them so I’ve sent the pictures along with correspondence 3more times over the past 2 weeks and haven’t heard anything back from them. There is no phone number for them that I can find. I called an art supply company I do a lot of business Ed’s with and they gave me a phone number but it didn’t work. At this point I am out an easel with a relatively easy fix… just send me a new knob and it would be operational again.
Damaged product
The product arrived more than damaged despite being perfectly packaged, so I don't know how it could have passed the quality process. Then I wrote to them directly and i still waiting any news.

This company is extraordinary in their customer service. They bend over backwards to keep their customers happy with care, understanding and service. I got their French Easel paining set and gave it as a gift and the person who received it was overjoyed and loved the quality of everything supplied. I am overjoyed at the exceptional customer service by this company. I think their service and commitment to the customer are among the best I've ever seen in my lifetime. Just beyond superb.
