Don't worry about power rating. This stove is as quick as others with more "power" for various reasons.
Not the lightest stove, yes, but totally reliable, even in the cold.
I personally let go of the super light stove, when I'm not alone on tour. It is the hours in the morning and in the evening when you might be tired. Than I need that little extra on security. I tiped over a hot water pot once. Not a nice experience. Not gonna happen here. Or at least: not so easy.

MercatorGear was very responsive with online feedback while I was purchasing the Kovea adapter for piercable gas containers.

The KOVEA P-Adapter with safety valve KA-1004 arrived to Canada with no issues.

Haven't been able to test it beyond ensuring my North American MSR PocketRocket screws in correctly to the output part. It will be early April when I get to Morocco and start camping and cooking where I will confirm the piercable cannister connection works but looks fine and well engineered.

Really quick delivery. Stove arrived well packages. Not had chance to use it yet.

The transaction was incredibly swift and hassle-free. Although I was unfamiliar with the product, as it was a gift, it was delivered precisely as promised. The packaging consisted merely of a folded cardboard piece and a plastic bag, but since I planned to wrap the box myself, it was perfectly fine.

Heard about a gas stove on a you tube video, I googled it and this company came up, in fact it was the only one if I remember that offered it at a reasonable price, ordered it no problem and it came really quick. I wanted a stove with a wider arc flame so it’s not so concentrated to the middle of a frying pan, the stove is really good no complaints from me, packs really small and can get it in the pot with my cylinder

OUTSTANDING Customer service and support and a GREAT product - I am very happy with the Kovea Spider stove - it is just superb and folds away to a tiny package - just perfect. Slight delay in delivery due to supply chain glitch, but I was offered an immediate and complete refund which I declined, and I was kept informed throughout - incomparable. I cannot recommend Mercator Gear highly enough!

I was looking for this replacement part for my 8 year KOVEA stove for over a year and couldn't find anything in Canada. Very thankful that i've stumbled across MercatorGear and thank you Steve for replying fast. It took about a week to get the part from the UK to Montreal. Very excited to keep using my KOVEA!

Purchased KOVEA Spider “Standard” 4-season remote canister stove Great little stove had similar cheaper model before. This stove is much better quality and hopefully worth the extra cost, have tested at home but not actually used yet.
