I’m really grateful to have received this garden shed through Family Fund, and I genuinely appreciate the opportunity to have something like this for my family.
However, I do feel it’s important to be honest about the quality. If it wasn’t for the gentleman I hired to build it for me, I honestly don’t think the shed would have been usable. There were multiple issues during assembly, and it was extremely flimsy. I don’t feel it would have been able to stay securely together or safely support anyone’s weight without the additional work and fixes he carried out.
I also contacted the company to provide feedback about the problems, but unfortunately the only response I received was to “take some pictures as evidence.” As the shed was being assembled by the company I had hired, the problems were identified and fixed during the build, so I obviously wasn’t able to provide photographs afterwards showing the issues in their original state.
It’s certainly not the best quality shed, but after the additional work carried out by the gentleman who assembled it, it will do the job, and I am grateful to have it. I just feel the product itself could be much sturdier and better made, and I wanted to give honest feedback so this can hopefully be looked at for future customers.

The shed builds are of a very poor quality. The timber used warped and leaves huge gapes on the larger panels. I install sheds for a living and I would not recomend these sheds. Spend on average 25% more and get a better quality timber.

Item was delivered and problems from the start
Item was delivered and problems from the start. First we had many parts that were damaged, complained to the company and they said they would replace. Because of the hot weather we continued to build and replaced the parts from a local Woodyard. The company sent 1 piece out when I had taken pictures of at least 10. The company feel that as I’ve replaced them I don’t need their parts anymore. 2nd issue - the lock- this came backwards fortunately I managed to fix this but again an issue that didn’t need to be. This weekend after the cabin being up for 4 weeks the door handle snapped. Again I had to replace the handle and purchase yet another part. Tonight due to the rain it is now leaking after spending over £100 on treatment to ensure this wouldn’t happen. I’ve now requested for the company to come and collect it. I will wait for Tuesday to see what they say but I’d avoid at all costs. Very disappointed.

Awful product - avoid!
Awful product. The shed was so poorly constructed the company told me they had to replace it as it was unsafe. How on earth they could let this leave the factory is beyond me.
They said they would send a replacement part. After a few days of waiting to hear when that would be I just gave up and asked they collect it and give me my money back. Avoid!

Terrible Shed
Bought the Mercia shed via Robert dyas website. The quality was terrible. the wood was warped. pieces of the wall were cracked. nails sticking out. unfortunately trust pilot doesn't have the option of uploading photos to show you just how bad it was. some of the pieces were so warped I could not build the shed. there is no way it would have been water proof. please avoid this cheap product.
