Neil was great very professional and super efficient

Diabolical service provided by the company who treat you like something out of the gutter the quality of their items are as if a 5 year old put it together being from a family of construction workers and my father being a contractors manager for many years and also being a joiner to trade if he was still with us he'd have sent it back due to the high standards he had. The Dutch Barn I purchased was of the worst quality I've seen from panels not being square the amount of knots makes it like a sieve ironmongery is so soft and inadequate for the shed myself and my joiner had to pay extra money out and time to get the shed up and having to get extra munch better quality wood to help make it sturdier and that's after paying a extortionate amount for the shed as for customer service is a absolute waste of time to deal with in total avoid buying anything from them if I could've I'd be giving them a zero

Really pleased with my product, I brought a double wooden bike shed, (6ft L 3ft depth 4ft high) the quality is good, easy to erect, wood strips need numbering but just had to measure them to find the right ones. Instructions pretty damn good too, good images in the instructions and written explanation. The delivery driver very polite and helpful, and kept me informed when 15 mins away., and I tracked online. I would purchase off this company again. No option to upload photo or I would have.

In all my years of building flatpack furniture, items, etc (and I’m 58 and pretty decent at DIY), I have never come across anything as shocking as this.
The greenhouse is built at size 6 x 6, so if you order 6 x 8, they don’t make longer pieces; instead, they add loads of bits. The hinges were wrong, I can’t fit the windows because there are no instructions on how to do the windows, there are nails stuck out of the frame, the roof is bowed because there is not one central 8ft cross bar and it stands still incomplete after more than 4 weeks.
Customer service at Robert Dyas was abysmal - not what I expected from a reputable company, but they haven’t designed this structure.
So…not a great experience, and definitely not a great product. So following my review…I wonder if any action will be taken, other than refund the £695 that I paid for this tinder wood?
Yes, you sent an email after we finally managed to get a response regarding the hinges which were four of the same and not two different types that enable the window in the roof to be fitted. And that response took 6 phone calls!!!
You don’t acknowledge the poor build/quality/safety in your reply.

Absolutely worst shed/ product I have had to put up in my life instructions hard to find and the wood came bowed and I had to drill most of the pieces the wrong way to account for the bowing

Great customer service. A small hinge had broken on one of the doors and I emailed them. Aimee Woodward responded promptly and has sent me a couple of new hinges free of charge.

The shed arrived when it was supposed to and even delivered to my back garden. It was put up by a friend in a very short time and looks really nice. Good and sturdy and I particularly like the solid wooden floor, it should last a good few years.My friend said it was good quality wood.

Love my summer house! My partner found that it was fairly easy to build if you’re a bit of a diy person. Instructions easy to follow. A few tweaks were necessary but on the whole it went together well. Delivery excellent. On time and helpful. Value for money.

I found that if you had a problem they were easy to contact and very helpful in resolving that problem. The after care you can not fault. The end product is both elegant and very strong. Well worth the money. Even now more than a year later it looks great.

Worst shed I've ever purchased , very cheap & nasty wood , very brittle even after I creosoted it (creosoted before assembly) , most of the main structure was bent/twisted with lots of knots i had to use extra baton to straighten & strengthen structure , 1 day job turned into 3days , WILL NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE AGAIN & WILL NOT RECOMMEND .
So I've had a reply from mercia saying cant confirm my purchase.....
I 100% can confirm i bought this from B&Q Caerphilly near Cardiff for £390.15 on 10th June 2026....
This is a real review of what poor workmanship has gone into making this product

The delivery time & driver was perfect for me as I work nights, pulled up after my shift & the driver was sitting waiting for me. He helped me into the garden with the larger panels top man. We brought an outdoor bar which is top quality easy to assemble and a great addition to the garden. Couldn’t recommend you highly enough thank you.

I was impressed on line with the reviews but on assembly I found that it was very flimsy and not that well made also the roof was not tounged and grooved like the rest of the shed and no roof felt so consequently the first time it rained although not much lately it rained in.

Great shed for the price . Good size . Few bits were too long but easy fixed

Really happy with our summerhouse and side shed! Quality exceeded our expectations, no warping and it all went together really well. Delivery was great, communicative, on time and driver was really helpful and friendly.

The shed I bought was in a right state when I tried putting it together. When speaking with the company they were really cruel to me even after when I told them about my mental health. They women I spoke took wasn’t reading what I wrote, asking for pictures I had already sent and winding me on purpose. I complained too. I still haven’t heard anything back from their 24 get back service and it’s been four days now. I’m really not happy and disgusted on how I was treated. I haven’t never been treated like this in my life and will definitely spread the word on how unprofessional the company was with the two weeks of messaging with them! My mental health is worse with the experience I had with them through the already tough time I’m going through in my life!

Edit: the panels didn’t align the roof been is bowed making it impossible to fit the roof and the flooring was in such bad shape my foot kept going through the floor. They refused to help in anyway.

Do no buy from this company unless you want to waste hundreds of pounds.

Poor quality material. .floor to flexible, frae to thin and roof material very poor. Had I seen the product before buying I would not have bought Delivery service was very good.
