I recently had a very disappointing experience with Merc Servicing Limited in Nuneaton. I took my car in due to a misfire, and after their inspection, they suspected that it needed a new timing belt, quoting us over £2,000 for the service. We reluctantly agreed to proceed, but unfortunately, the issue worsened significantly. Rather than resolving the misfire, the car began to smoke heavily and misfired continuously.

Despite their admission that they weren't certain this repair would fix the problem, we were assured it was necessary. After completing the work and taking our payment, they handed the car back to us without spending any further time to diagnose the worsening issues.

We then sought a second opinion from another garage, which quickly identified an external fuel leak near the high-pressure pump. They advised us to return to Merc Servicing. Following their re-assessment, they claimed there was no leak and instead suggested we needed a new engine.

We took the car back to yet another garage, which identified the real problem immediately: a faulty fuel injector. Thankfully, the car is now running smoothly.

For a workshop that claims to specialise in Mercedes vehicles, this experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. It seems their mechanics lack the necessary expertise, leading to incorrect assembly and missing bolts in my vehicle. I strongly advise anyone considering using Merc Servicing Limited to stay away unless you want to risk being overcharged and ignored. Mercedes should be made aware of their subpar service, as it does a disservice to their brand.

I had bought the car from this garage…

I had bought the car from this garage so thought I’d go back there for a service and MOT. The mechanics are fine but dealing with the receptionist and the owner was shocking, the worst experience I’ve ever had. The communication is poor. I went at the given day and time only to be informed the part had not arrived. So it was a wasted journey for me, as I had wasted my time and fuel getting there only to be told go and come back another day I asked as a gesture of good will what can you do for me. The owner became aggressive and started shouting at the top of his voice and marched out of the reception area leaving me there thinking what the hell just happened.
Has this man got some emotional issues or some thing. I walked out and talked to the mechanic who was helpful.
Put it this way. Avoid this place unless you want to get ripped off and get shouted at. Shocking behaviour!.

Stay Away – Dishonest and Unprofessional
I wish I could give zero stars. My experience here was terrible. A staff member named Janki (or something similar) was incredibly rude and unprofessional from the start. She clearly doesn’t know how to speak to customers.
This dealership sells cars with hidden issues. The vehicle I bought had multiple problems that were not disclosed, and when I called to raise concerns, the tone immediately changed — they became rude and dismissive. There was no willingness to help, only denial and hostility.
If you look through other reviews, you’ll see this is a pattern. Anytime someone leaves negative feedback, they argue back instead of trying to resolve the issue. Their responses are defensive, unprofessional, and even dishonest — which tells you everything you need to know.
Bottom line: If you want peace of mind and honesty, go somewhere else. Don’t trust what they say, and definitely don’t trust the condition of their vehicles. I regret doing business with them and hope this helps others avoid the same mistake.

I've had exceptional service from the…

I've had exceptional service from the guys in the garage, truly recommend, however, a call to the office to ask about a new tyre wasn't good - quite stroppy because I didn't know number of the tyre even though I could tell her complete make of car ( Bought it from them) - was really unhelpful.

I have Issue With my Car (coolant leaking) bought nearly 3 months ago (03.12.2024). When I view that car was Issue Heating not working. Seller promise Me that all Issue will be done before delivery car. Seller just top up coolant to CORRECT level. (Because When Coolant level Is low Heating not working.) I top up few times then Book Garage VAT because
guarantee company(Autoguard Warranties) need that type of Garage for repair. Guarantee company not cover that Issue. So I contact with seller about cover cost od repair. So Manager Tell that not cover cost od external Garage. I live 2.5 hours away. BE AWARE with That Seller.

Best place to get a used Mercedes

After watching the Mercland video explaining how they prepare the cars we decided to visit them and have a look. The people were very pleasant and we came away with a good feeling of the business. After a few weeks we saw the car we wanted and promptly reserved it. The whole process was easy and the car was delivered the following week, looking almost new.
A few weeks later a faulty sensor showed, which was simply replaced and covered under the warranty. I am so impressed with Mercland, it's the only place to go if you want a used Mercedes ! Very happy.

Bought a car unseen on Mercland website, deposit and transaction very smooth and professional.
Delivery driver friendly and the car arrived as arranged, the car being exactly as described, if not better than my expectations, very happy with my purchase, so far everything on the car seems to be working fine..thanks guys

Great experience

Great experience. Went to view a different car but it had been reserved that morning and they had no similar models in stock. However they did have one that had just came I. And was in the process of being detailed and serviced at a nearby location.
They offered to take car out of detail shop and bring it back so I could test drive it. I drove it, liked it and after putting down deposit was on my way. The car was delivered to my home 2 days later. Process couldn’t have been easier. I’ll update this after spending some time driving it.

Great customer service.

Recently bought a car from them, have a bit of issue with it, but you can't fault them as its a second hand car anyway everything's been sorted very quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend.
