I have been associated with Mercury since 2021 when I opened my US entity as the CEO of Penthara Technologies. They have been constantly adding new features and giving great support over the email as and when required. You cannot go wrong by choosing them as your banking partner.

My experience with Mercury has been great. The only thing that I wish was different is they had a better way for the banking information to be verified when they call in because they don't have like a direct line that they just make available. Other than that everything else has been fantastic. Wiring money out! Wiring money in depositing funds. Everything has been fantastic.
Mercury's customer support chat agents go unresponsive for minutes at a time. If I went unresponsive for half as long as they have done to me as the customer, they would have disconnected the chat.

I've had numerous business bank accounts and all have lacked the features we needed - until Mercury! They have designed their user experience with so many great features, I've moved all of my business banking to them and will be moving personal banking as well.

It was great until it wasn’t… Banked there for roughly 2 years. Suddenly when I needed to reach someone it was impossible to get responses. Try calling their phone line, and you’ll get someone friendly yet seemingly always unable to provide support. You are required to send an email to a specific address, promised a response within 1 business day, and that promise is broken time and time again… If you value the safety of your hard earned money I would NOT recommend this Fintech. You will get burned in the end.
Edit: I Finally got a response they are closing my accounts after 2 years no issues, without any notice. They claim we violated their terms and conditions but unable to cite what it is we did (because we did nothing different ever) AND here’s the kicker, they said they will hold onto our money “no less than 60 days”…… and the email finishes with saying they will not respond to anymore communications.
If you read the reviews here there are countless reviews with similar responses to mine. Mercury is quick to respond with their blanket statement of “we reached out to you” (not true) and that the account violated some terms (and here or no where do they respond with detailed facts). Further, you’ll notice in these reviews no one gets clarification on WHEN or IF their money is being returned to them. Caveot Emptor
Buyer beware, your money is NOT safe with Mercury.

I’ve been using Mercury for the past two years for my business banking, and the experience has been consistently excellent. The platform is clean, intuitive, and makes it very easy to manage my accounts, and overall cash flow without unnecessary complexity.
What I appreciate most is how modern and efficient everything feels. Opening the account, handling transfers, and navigating the dashboard have all been smooth and reliable. Mercury has helped simplify an important part of running my business, and that peace of mind is incredibly valuable.
After two years of using it, I can honestly say it has been a great banking partner for my company, and I would gladly recommend it to other business owners looking for a straightforward and dependable solution.

Mercury is an absolute joke. Their onboarding timeframes are laughably unrealistic — it's been over a week with zero updates, and the only explanation I received was a generic "there's been an increase in applications." Cool story.
To make matters worse, their 2FA is completely broken, locking you out of your own account. Their solution? Disable your VPN and stop masking your IP address — essentially, strip away every security measure on your device. For a company that markets itself as a cutting-edge "tech" company that "cares about security," that's a deeply concerning ask that leaves you wondering how seriously they actually take your data privacy.
Customer service was entirely unhelpful and offered no real solutions. Save yourself the headache and stay far, far away.

I had a very disappointing experience with Mercury. After going through the entire onboarding process and spending time setting up the account, it was suddenly closed with a generic message about the “nature of our activity,” without any meaningful explanation.
This is actually the second account of ours that Mercury has closed in a similar way. The process of opening the account required time and documentation, only for it to be shut down shortly after with no opportunity to clarify anything.
They also insist on sending the remaining balance via a physical check, which is highly impractical for international founders.
Overall, the experience felt like a waste of time and left a very poor impression. I would be cautious before relying on Mercury for your business banking.

I don’t know what to say. They bring banking into the modern world. And they take care of their customers

The IO card credit experience being tied completely to the current balance is not convenient if we are running tight. It becomes a disincentive to use it.

I absolutely hate this bank! Website says one thing and I get told something completely different.

My experience with Mercury has been extremely frustrating.
After using the platform for legitimate business purposes, receiving payouts from my Shopify stores and paying suppliers and employees, my account was suddenly closed and my dashboard access was revoked.
The main issue is that Mercury has refused to provide the routing and account numbers for all of my checking accounts and sub-accounts, even though I am the account holder requesting my own banking information.
This has created a serious operational problem for my business. Shopify requires me to confirm my previous bank account details before I can update my payout bank account. Since Mercury removed my access and will not provide these details, I am unable to update my banking information and properly manage my store payouts.
I contacted Mercury directly multiple times, but they did not address this specific issue in their responses. Instead, they repeated that the closure decision was final.
I am simply requesting my own banking details so I can update my payout settings and continue operating my business properly. I hope Mercury resolves this matter promptly.

A perfect fit for my business. I use Profit First accounting and the ability to create multiple accounts fits perfectly with that. Transfers are free, quick and easy.
