Mersey Rod - Drain Unblocking, Surveying and Repairs Reviews 

We didn’t dare to think they might come out on Good Friday but 20 minutes after our call for help, Justin was here and had the job sorted in no time. He also gave us some good advice and all this while staying calm and friendly. Would recommend Mersey Rod to anyone with a drain problem.

A rapid response from the company when heavy rain was due shortly, which would have caused major problems - problem sorted there and then, with further analysis of the issues with Victorian drainage

Really prompt service, very nice and helpful person (Dave) attended. Only slight issue was surprise that our blockage was related to the kitchen sink - I think they are used to flushing external drains in the main, so he asked me to sign a disclaimer prior to using the power flush system inside and also couldn't use the camera cable to identify the site of the blockage (too wide to go down kitchen sink pipes apparently). Flushed and unblocked though, and all working fine since, so very happy with service overall.

Rang on a Sunday evening was seen first thing Monday morning. Gentleman who provided the service was so polite took about 30/40 minutes everywhere looks clear found the issue hopefully that’s it all sorted but gave us our options if any other issues arise, and all three bathrooms draining properly and not an issue since!

I c as led out Mersey Rod for a toilet that had been repeatedly blocking fur a while. I was told that to unblock it would cost £190 plus vat. The man who came took one look and said he thought there was a problem with the toilet installation and pipe. Despite the claim that they don’t charge if they can’t unblock, I was charged £144. He spent at most 10 minutes in the house.

Becky was great got booked in and liaised with the estate agents, home buyers report was completed the same week and report within a couple of days. Just need to ask some questions which I’m sure will be answered with great knowledge.

Great service from this company. Instructed late Friday afternoon and sorted by mid Saturday morning.
Not the cheapest call out costs but service was excellent and communication was clear.
Followed top with images of the issue which was causing the blockage.

Dave was excellent, he arrived and within half an hour he had unblocked the drains that had been giving us issues for a good few years and he also gave us good advice on how to prevent the problem arising again
