Bought 110 euro worth of stuff only for customs to demand an extra 30 just to deliver it? Why was i not made aware there would be extra costs before hand straight fkin illegal

Warning ⚠️ high customs fees of 30 euros which are only mentioned in the small print at Messina Hembry.

I had to pay 30 euros for customs in Germany. It says this somewhere in their small print, but there is no indication of it in the normal purchase process.

got two desigual shirts from here and they arrived super quick!! was a small stain on one of them but as expected from a second hand shop :).

When ever I try a new website I make one small order. and then a slightly larger order before I decided whether to use the site or not. 1st item was an Addidas track suit top for my daughter. That turned up, great shape happy with that. 2nd order, Levi Jeans - Great happy with those, Ralf Lauren Polo shirt - Great, happy with that. Addidas tracksuit top - Awful. Multiple stains and had obviously not been quality checked. A company is only as good as its returns policy - There is no automated response for returns, I have messaged them and will have to wait Monday for a response as to the next steps and returns are at my cost. The idea of the site is fine. I have bought 4 items with a 75% hit rate. I have seen other people have had the same issue. It appears tracksuits tops which I guess will the most popular amongst its items appears to be an issue they need to focus on as the quality control isn't there yet. I hope they exceed, as I like the idea. Dependening on how they respond to my query on Monday will decided whether, that was a one off and I will accept that or their quality isn't there yet and I wont purchase from them again.

I orderes two trackjackets even though the prices are for vintage clothing in my opinion to high. I also forgot that because Britain is no longer EU member that i had to pay an additionol tax when i got the package. The package also came half way opened, which was due to bad packaging. But the one reason you shouldnt buy there is because i got multiple dark stains (like coffee stains) in the front middle and on the upper back of my trackjackets. The stains were obviously not visible even when I took a second look now at the product photo.
It really was misleading.

Was great condition looks brand new delivery few days great company UK to be honnest though they got pretty expensive for second hand clothes someone needs to tell them most things shop price brand new can be cheeper than here

Would absolutely reccomend. Great prices with lots of offers and the clothes are in good quality if they say they are, Clothes match the pictures too.

The item I purchased was not what I expected (it was called a jumper or sweater but it was not knitted - more of a tee shirt material). I had to return it at my cost, and I sent it tracked as suggested. The refund I got was minus the postage I had paid for the original item (nearly £4). When you add this to the cost of returning it, I have lost around £8. I'm sure it's a great site if you keep what you buy, but if you have to send it back, you will be out of pocket.

Bought a fila jacket, came in spotless condition, fits perfectly, fantastic price and quick delivery, great service.

Ordered directly from website, but then discovered a very poor returns process. All that is provided after a search on the website is only return address, for returns at customer cost. No website system to view an order and arrange a return, with return labels to print. Oder also not delivered with any explanation of how to arrange a return. They are trying to discourage returns. Suggest using it's ebay store, as ebay has far better return processes.
Summary: do not order directly on website, use ebay store.

Amazing place to buy vintage stuff , wide section of quality clothes , new items added each day , would definitely recommend also fast delivery and fantastic customer service , will order again .

Was completely scammed. Bought a shirt in late May 2023, waited for weeks for it but it never arrived.

I contacted MH with no reply via email or instagram.

Am very happy With M/H. I have made four purchases from them over the last two months. I live in Scandinavia, and thus, all purchases of clothes from the UK are subject to vat and customs, unless the purchase is nelow a certain amount. Thanks to M/H prices, I have not had to pay any customs of any of the purchases. And I have managed to secure -amongst other things-mint-conditioned clothes that have cost me 1/10 of what it would have cost me her in Norway. Recommended!

Unfortunately customs charges to any one from outside of UK (plus delivery was included to value) - pity because I would back but because of above I will stick to sellpy.

An easy site to navigate, a fantastic selection of pre loved clothing, some designer and some high street! I love the items I chose, I did size up as I was unsure about sizes and returns however once parcel arrived returning items is very easy too! I am happy with my items though!
