I reached out to this company and requested a quote. I was pushed pretty hard to commit, and eventually I said I would see what I could do. A few hours later, I called and backed out, stating that I did not have the funds to pay the upfront deposit they required at the time.

Brandon Stone's response was to call me a liar and say they will never book me. All because I didn't commit.

I'm a single mother of 2 and was in a very bad situation and had to move to another state.. I booked Metro and gave a $633.00 deposit for a quote that was $1800.. 1 week before my move the quote totally changed to $3000.00..I explained that was too much they haggled me telling me it may be less depending on the space I use.. And I couldn't call back to keep the quote.. I had to make a decision on the spot.. And on top of that had to make another deposit of 550.00..so I did. but next day then sent an email to Cancel.. And guess what happened.. They still took that other deposit.. Won't return it I called and cried to them.. They overdrafted my bank account.. I didn't have the money to move.. And they did not care.. Til this day there are overdraft fees hitting my account and have no way to stop it because of this Company... I'm so disappointed, Im upset and stuck in an abusive situation I have to get away from with my kids.. I just can't believe Companies do this.. 😢

Biggest scam of all said I would move Tuesday driver never called till Thursday when i had booked another company and already moved. They won’t give my deposit back!!!

When I planned my move from Renton, WA to Round Rock, TX I thought my move will be hastle free and smooth as like last time I moved from CA to WA. I got first call from this "Metro Van Lines LLC" talking so professionally and politely lured me to accept their quote and pay the advance and asked me to reject any further call that I may receive from other moving companies. On the day of move, a group of folks showed up, talked nicely and increased the estimate provided by Metro Van Lines LLC by 100% and after much bargain they finally charged me 60% more of what is in the quote saying my goods occupy more space and my beds and large TV requires special care wrapping.

After 20 days, I got call from delivery truck saying I have to keep ready the balance amount to deliver the goods. Truck came and driver told I have to give balance first for him to open the truck door though I told him i have to check the goods first. I paid final balance and after unloading the goods from the truck, I found all major items for which they charged more like 2 beds, TV, parts of TV Stand, Chairs, Table, Stroller, Suitcase, Fan etc. all together 16-18 major items missing and from last 12 days I keep on calling this Metro Van Lines LLC but hearing same response they are trying to get information from moving company. Finally today they gave contact of moving company which nobody ever pick the call or respond.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF FRAUD with Metro Van LLC. They took my deposit and never showed up for the move. See below text message I received from the operations manager!

This is Thomas Noble Operations Manager at Metro Van Lines. I wanted to see if you were available to do a Quality Assurance call to go over your inventory one more time to let you make any last minute adjustments. We understand as a company things change inventory wise before the truck actually arrives. We just want to make sure we get this right for you.

Horrible Experience and Horrible Company!!Trying to move my Mom from California to New Mexico. Took my initial inventory over the phone, I was told as long as we don’t add an Elephant or Grand Piano we are good. Price went up $1,800, once inventory was sent with measurements. Movers arrived and requested an additional $6,400 on top of what we already paid. No one will answer the phones or call us back. Please do not do business with this company. You will be sorry.

This company took our deposit and stopped communicating with us several days before our move. We were never able to confirm our list of items that were supposed to be moved because the operation manager ghosted us and we were not transferred to another manager. Our original quote was $2000 less than what they ultimately wanted to charge us, when they took our initial inventory they asked me how many bedrooms but did not include the beds and bed frames for the other two bedrooms, they used pressured and coercive sales tactics to get an initial agreement even though I expressed an unreadiness to give an accurate inventory. I was told your quote won't change unless you have an elephant hiding in your house . This was a horrific experience and we are out over $800 because they kept out deposit against the wording in the contract .

Booked with MVL for a move from CA to FL. I am very happy with the overall experience. They took extra care of my items and got there sooner than expected. Highly recommend
