Excel Doesn’t Work on larger IPads.

Recently purchased a new 12.1” iPad only to find out that Excel won’t work without paying a monthly subscription of £5.99. As I only use this for home finances it’s not worth the cost, seems I can’t buy Excel outright. Tried all Monday afternoon for help in understanding this but kept getting transferred to another department, the last transfer had a recorded message saying they were too busy to answer the phone, good bye! What a useless company, customer service zero, I have now found an alternative product for free just have to learn how it works.

Can't use outlook due to a password change/No technical support available

Can't use my outlook because one of the corporate email accounts changed their password and even though this was updated on my desktop, it kept getting rejected no matter what the corporate technician tried to do from their side!! And microsoft support is totally lacking - SHAMEFUL FOR SUCH A LARGE ORGANISATION!!! Have wasted 4 -5 days so far! The company needs new senior management or to be taken over by a company that believes in customer service.

Terrible service

I bought Microsoft Office Home and Student 2 years ago. I have received notifications from Microsoft that no further updates for this will be provided and that if I don't upgrade to the latest version I will have security issues. I contacted Microsoft as I have only had this product 2 years and felt this was not acceptable. I was told tough buy the new version or make do with what have. I have wasted my money on a product which has no support or upgrade on and expected to shell out my hard earned money to keep getting support and security upgrades. How do these people sleep at night ripping off the general public?

New Microsoft Surface Pro

To say I am disappointed with my new purchase is a understatement. Worked fine initially then you did updates and it is to say politely it disconnects and is unreliable. Had Microsoft Surface 2 and it served me well. Before you say it's my provider all my other devices are fine

Damn yall for locking my account for no…

Damn yall for locking my account for no damn reason. At least say what i violated on your little policy. I can't get into my email nor my my xbox account. Which I probably spent hundreds of dollars on or even more. Then you say it'll take 24 hours to process. Yea right it's all lies. You just take your sweet time.

The bought version worse then free one

I tried the pilot from Microsoft webstore and it was alright, but then I decided to buy it , to avoid ads, and that's when problems started, it would stall and block my new computer all the time. Should have used the free version

Two brand new FAULTY controllers + awful customer support.

Ordered a brand new controller, xbox one wireless - artic camo which arrived with a fault, stick drift, contacted support to get an exhange which took speaking to two different departments. Once exchanged controller arrived after 10 days, it had the exact same fault as they obviously never tested or even cared when sending out. Contacting support to get this faulty product returned has turned into over a month long back and forth where i get sent to different department, get esculated with results in 3 weeks no contact and have yet to get my £59.99 back for the controller that hasnt been used at all. Staff are friendly but cant seem to help much, system is rigged to not provide any support and product quality is very low, with very little care.

Microsoft Surface horrible choice.

Bought a Microsoft "surface" computer 3 years ago. TERRIBLE! has broken several times, service poor, the computer and screen are together so any issues you lose the whole machine. My husband has an Apple MacBook, BEYOND night and day. He has never had issues and Apple support incredible. The Microsoft surface looks cool, but that is it.

Microsoft useless help line…

Whilst speaking to Microsoft help line with regards to our lifetime Microsoft purchase that was not functioning as expected, we came to the conclusion that their representative sold us a student packaged rather than the family and business package. When asked the advisor on the phone what the differences between the two packages were and what the price difference will be, all she wanted us to do and was 'strongly advising' us to do based on the conversation we had, was to purchase another lifetime membership in order to get the outlook app we were missing from our membership. Once the advisor decided that i was not going to simply purchase it unless she answered my questions as to what apps are actually included to ensure we do not make the same mistake of trusting the Microsoft rep and purchase what we thought we asked for and to only find out in a years time that we didn't, she simply terminated the call without even saying so. The beauty of a global company that has the monopoly is to have shining employees like the advisors we spoke to.

GARBAGE

GARBAGE, anyone who ever thinks they need to buy a MS product should think again, I have looked for about an hour now to find a support email and I can't find one, all I get sent to is the automated chat thing that doesn't have any options that pertain to my current predicament, I think my account is being hacked into and there is no way to get in contact with microsoft, when I think i'm getting somewhere it tells me to login, well surprise i'm not able to login to my account that's the whole issue!!!

Disgusting, won't be using their services again.

Pathetic

Dear Microsoft,

I am recording your incompetent service which is beyond shocking.

I will ensure that that everyone gets to know about how you deal with customer queries and complaints.

You think your global sales and collecting data of people have made your organisation very powerful, isn't it? There are many activists including a well-known Professor of Harvard who are working hard to get the latter i.e. this pathetic and immoral practice of data collection outlawed. GDPR is clearly isn't enough.

Just for the record, I would like to clarify for the readers that Microsoft has asked me to share all the system details of my computer and then vanished from the scene without doing anything about resolving the issue. It's been well over a week now but I still haven't received any response!

Sincerely,

A very unhappy customer

Another scumbag overlord company

It’s a shame you can’t go any lower than 1 star. Everything I’ve ever had or seen that’s involved Microsoft has been fundamentally bad. Windows is crap, bill gates is a greedy, power hungry narcissist pretending to be good. It buys up companies and destroys them when they try to resist, Lionhead studios was a prime example. Dominance without care is their only concern. Good products and a good service are nowhere to be seen. Truly globalism and corporations are evil and hell bent on owning as much as possible. Up there with the worst are Microsoft. You are all scum and should be ashamed of yourselves.

Honestly the worst most frustrating…

Honestly the worst most frustrating company i have had to deal with in all my years in working in IT.

We have had a problem logged for the last 5 months that thay fixed once but now seem unable to resolve.

we constantly get asked for logs that they already have.. and when asked why they need more logs we get told they don't know has they can't see the notes...

no one seems to know what they are doing and constantly give out the wrong information and when questioned on this they insist they are correct "resulting on the deletion of a users mailbox"

just stay away from there system and keep everything on prem as if you have a problem with there service its not worth the stress

Atrocious, rubbish, complete 3rd rate and bloody awful.

Don’t buy from the microsoft store as customer service is provided by poor speaking reps in developing countries. It is very frustrating when you have to keep repeating yourself and then when they finally do understand you nothing happens. Im still waiting for a refund 1 month later, I keep ringing and keep getting the promise of a ‘refund in da next 24 hrs’, and 24 hrs later promised da refund again. I don’t actually know where to go next if I don’t get it this time.

Update:
**Getting even worse if thats possible. Rang their ‘helpdesk’. Agent asked what my query was. I asked to speak to a manger to which he replied I dont understand. I then said ok ill give you some details about me and maybe you can help. He fkin replied again I dont understand. I hung up. So Im going to have to wait again.** NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEIR ONLINE STORE.

Update 2:
Finally got my £2,000 refund. Im very relieved because I can honestly say that due to the educational skills of the staff I was dealing with I was beginning to doubt I would ever get my money back. Oh well, a lesson learned.
