M.I Construction Training Reviews 

My experience doing my A17C telehandler license at MI Construction was a nice experience. The trainer was straight to the point. He taught us well and the test was nice and relaxing. The environment was friendly.

Despite my lack of construction experience, I'm genuinely impressed by the Telehandler course at this MI Training Center. The instructors' dedication to safety and their effective communication of technical concepts created a supportive environment for beginners like me. The well-organized structure and positive atmosphere made the learning process accessible and enjoyable. I feel equipped with valuable knowledge, thanks to this excellent training program. Thanks to Anthony and Theo!!!

I got my Slinger passed with them. I've been in construction only 2 days total and someone told me to get my slingers done with Mi Training which was going to be 3 days plus 4th being the test. My 7th day in construction was my test day itself, and while everyone was shaking in their boots, (same as me), thankfully I actually passed. EVERYONE there was an absolute delight. The teacher LEWIS was an absolute machine when it came to teaching. If it helps, think of it this way, I might aswell have gone in to learn intermediate chinese speaking 3 days crash course and Lewis would have taught me it no doubt, except instead of chinese, this was slinger work. He isn't chinese, but for someone who only did 2 days work, it might as well have been. He doesn't act like a teacher, but very quickly becomes a friend.

1 Thing Lewis drilled into our heads was that revision is a must, which believe it or not, came out to be true. Most people think that listening to the lectures should be enough, but surprise surprise... having said that, if you actually bother to follow instruction things work. on my 6th day in Construction, the night before the test, i sat down on a 7 hour revision test handwriting out the questions and answers to give myself an edge, and thank God almighty, it WORKED.
I got 106 marks out of 106. I am by no means a genius, if i was, i'd be a doctor or engineer, not a labourer. LISTEN TO THE TEACHER WHEN HE SAYS, REVISE!!!! I give credit to Lewis' teaching and truly the management with Mi Training is fantastic. Everyone is brilliant, and i think honestly my only regret with them was that i live so far from them, i didn't actually get to know them on a personal level.

Maybe i should learn to teach, maybe get a job there... As far goes should you book a test with them or not? Honestly, the question is, how quickly should you book it. Answer, ASAP.

Attended CPCS A62 Crane Supervisor Course at Godstone. Very professional set up and welcoming experienced staff that will do all they can to help from the moment you arrive. Our instructor Kevin was 1st class, highly experienced and delivered an excellent course, he was totally professional full of knowledge and he showed empathy to help each individual, and as a group, Kevin delivered an excellent course over 3 days and ensured we were all ready for the tests. Excellent company with great people would recommend to anyone to use.

I've done few courses with them and I can't say a bad word about them, very helpful testers and trainers, they make sure you get to know all you need to pass your course!

The course was challenging enough to keep me interested, was an extremely pleasant experience from start to finish, staff went above and beyond to make sure I was ready for my test, a very big thank u to the team

Having worked around plant for 15 years an driving them for many years I realised how little I knew in the legal terms an safety requirements until attending a course with these guys.
With complete confusion from my office they accommodated the multiple candidate changes an treated me perfect.
Anthony was our instructor an for a guy his age to give a course in the manner he did was a great advert for the centre itself. Clear, precise, helpful, an very professional, could put a set of forks threw a letter box but can't get a kids buggy in a kia picanto🤣.
Would definitely recommend our company use them again and again.

I had the opportunity to be trained by Wayne and Bob. very good professionals and talented. I highly recommend MI Construction if you intend to start your career on the construction site.

I done my practical test today as a slinger signaller for pick and carry duty,obviously you have to do everything again (static and pick and carry duty)and I was surprised by the level of experience and knowledge of Ben and Ian…they are very patient and go an extra mile with you to make sure you do everything the safe way.I want to take the opportunity to thank Ben,Ian,Lewis,Stacey and all staff at MI Construction Training Godstone for their professionalism,highly recommended!!!

Poor training quality.I paid 2340 for Digger course above/below 10 tonnes and I fail the practical test because they said I am too slow.The trainer was watching the cows all day long.

Great company, proper and professional training, good value, would recommend.

GO TRAIN HERE!!! Best place!!! I am a female and have never worked in construction. I went and done my Slingers and passed with flying colours and it was all down to The way they teach, As it’s A star ⭐️ I’m dyslexic And in them few days they broke it all down so I could understand. Ask as many questions as you like as they want to pass the knowledge on so everyone is safe and can do the job right. All staff are fantastic, polite and helpful. I will be returning to do more courses..

I just passed my A40 Slingers test. Very happy with the training here. Bob and Lewis were very clear and helpful in the theory and the practical training. Gareth was also very clear in the practical training. I left training with all the knowledge necessary to pass. They are very patient and really go the extra mile to ensure you are fully equipped for your test.

The test was smooth. Gareth crane operating skills really helped me when slinging in my test. Wayne was very concise and clear with the questions in the theory test and Steven also in the practical. Steven watched the test from a distance so didn't put unnecessary pressure.

I plan to come back for any future training!

Jack was a brilliant instructor for the A17 telehandler course very calm and easy going will not let you panic.....I recommend MI training to anyone who requires any kind of training in any aspects of construction.....all staff at the centre very friendly and accomadating......7 stars....Thank you all the team at Godstone

Excellent training facilities all staff are extremely knowledgeable and encouraging.. special thanks to jack and lee for helping me get threw my A17 course and also to everyone else at mi construction Godstone, highly recommend this place I will definitely be back in the future to progress and gain more tickets thanks everyone.

Recently I took A62 lifting supervisor course, Iver and I had a great instructor (Steve Smart) who gave us depth knowledge and wisdom about crane and lifting supervision. As I already had A40 training from other training centre, at MIC you will be surprised for the extra-mile support you will be given through out the training.
I want to thank Steve, Gareth and sam who helped me to achieve my qualification. Also, I want to thank Paul for his comforting and constructive suggestions.
I would recommend anyone who is interested to do this course or any related training @ MIC.
