Completely disappointed this time

Completely disappointed this time
I visited Midas in Broad St Hamilton NJ.to get 4 tires. They charge me 201.00 per tire only to see the same tire for 150.00 2 weeks later on their web side. I call the manager of the store unfortunately a month later. (It took me a long time to realized that I was being ripped off.). And he gave me the round around saying that my tire was 201.00 because that was the price of the distribution center. But what about the web side? I ASK. He just said is a diferent price and they charge accordingly to the distribution center. Which I thought it was just bull. They ripped me off by 150.00 but that's fine. They won't have my business at all. Buyer Be Ware.

My first time visiting Midas

My first time visiting Midas - Roosevelt Chicago was excellent. Super efficient, fast and honest! I was booked for 3:30 pm appointment and was immediately entertained when I arrived 30 minutes earlier. Within 5 minutes they were able to identify the issue and was told to buy the spare parts. When we came back with the spare parts Nick J. immediately took care of us and again within 5-10 minutes the repair work was done. Nick J. did not charge us for the cost of repair. We will definitely go back for regular car maintenance. I highly recommend Midas Roosevelt Chicago for excellent customer service!

Bad experience turned Good

Re: Midas at 26959 US Hwy 281 N, San Antonio TX 782960
Had a Groupon deal for an oil change $39.
Upon check in was informed of additional charges $32. Was told I could go elsewhere, but had already purchased the Groupon for this store. Fortunately the store manager, Isaiah, had overheard the conversation, and upon checkout he waived the additional $32. He said he understood why I was upset, and appreciated that I was a return customer. Hopefully, this new manager Isaiah will be able to be able to change how employee's interact with customers. Thanks Isaiah for your understanding.

Thank you Ray, Great Service!

Because Ray, the store manager, went that extra mile, giving me the best price on my oil change and the best service. He took note of my comments, me asking them to look at the battery icon that was on my dash. The service took less than an hour. He reported to me that it wasn't the alternator and said I should go back to where I purchased the battery and have them test it. I was impressed and left feeling really good. Thank you Ray, Great Service!

Midas 3408 99 st.

Midas 3408, 99 St. When I phone and get the quote they said that they were on a promotion for $75 full synthetic and that will until tomorrow. So I rushed and get an appointment I was dealing with the heavy many traffics just to get on time for the appointment that they set. Once I arrived the shaved guy told me that there’s still a couple of vehicles to get done. After they asked questions and check everything they told me that my vehicles oil is special and still have to order and it will cost $140. So I decided not to take it and went home with big disappointment.
I know that most of the maintenance guy thought that women doesn’t know anything about vehicles that’s why they charge you for more. How could a Toyota RAV4 has a special oil?! It’s not even a Tesla! If they don’t have time to do it they should call me right away and reschedule, not giving any reason. I spent an hour to drove into their shop and just to get a disappointment.

Extremely dishonest managers and…

Extremely dishonest managers and incompetent technicians there. Try everything possible to avoid this place. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I paid big at Midas at 10834 Lee Hwy, Fairfax, VA for a brake pads rotor and caliper replacement job and next day when I went to another place to do safety inspection and was told the brake was still sticky. I had to bring it back but the technician denied there was any issue. The owner and the managers there were obviously very dishonest and refused to fix it for me unless I pay even more. I had to go to another store to fix the issue. This place is full of a bunch of disgraceful owner/managers and totally incompetent technicians. Be alert! Don’t trust them.

I took my car up there because it
Was going dead. After telling me they needed to replace the battery, alternator, injectors, thermostat they returned the car to me and the AC compression was out. I had NO issues with anything other than the car dying on me. The district manager and the store manager was very pleasant but truly believe it was their negligence with my car. It was one thing after another and the mechanic made several errors they admitted to.

Poor Service

Trying to get an update done for all our work computers, I respond to their emails within a couple of minutes. I have to wait until the next morning to get an answer to my question even though I have Scotts direct email address. If I want to expedite this I have to call a premium number and get charged through the nose for it only to be told to create a ticket online for it. So I have no more answers and a nice big charge on my phone bill.
If you want anything done swiftly do not use Midas Solutions!

I went into Midas Irving TX for EGR valve replacement, Now the Air Intake manifold is messed up

I went into Midas Irving TX because I am used to going to Midas for my repairs in South Carolina. I trusted the mechanics to install a part that purchased, an EGR valve. When I got home I noticed that the car was hot and the mechanic in my complex offered to look at it. He noticed that the PCV Valve tubing was detached from the air intake hose. I informed Midas of the finding and Justin said "No problem, just bring it in and we will reattach it." When I arrived, Justin said the tubing would not stay on and gave the impression that this was a preexisting condition of the vehicle and would need to open a new service order to replace the tubing. Upon looking for the part, he said it would need to be ordered from the dealer because he couldn't find it. I'm appalled at the arrogance of this repair shop to assume I should pay for the problem that stemmed from the replacement of the EGR valve. Justin and the front desk clerk teamed up to assure me that the tubing or air intake hose did not need to be removed to replace the valve. This is very negligent on their part to make such a claim when there is so much evidence of the tampering of the tubing that all of a sudden keep "popping out."

Don't get ripped off at the Midas on…

Don't get ripped off at the Midas on Atlantic Ave. in Jacksonville, FL! I’ve used this Midas several times for oil changes and tire rotations as they’re convenient, but not especially quick with any work. Every time I’m there, they try to upsell me with hundreds to thousands of dollars in work that, when I have checked by an independent mechanic I’ve used for more extensive repairs, I’ve been told that the Midas-recommended repairs are unnecessary. Today I brought in a vehicle due to a check engine light needing a diagnostic, something that is FREE at every major car parts store. Midas charges $189. When their diagnostic said the repair was an air filter ($49), and a fuel system treatment ($229), AND they’d lower the diagnostic fee to $99, I opted for just the air cleaner. They then raised the diagnostic fee back to $189. NOT! A $15 air filter and a $7 top-rated fuel system cleaner does NOT rate a $278 repair! After making it clear that I don’t patronize businesses that change prices like that, I finally paid $174 to them just to get out of this rip off shop. Congratulations Midas. That's the last penny you'll ever see from me, and you’ve earned this review now published throughout social media. I can only imagine how they try to rip off customers who don't know better.
