No customer service

I wanted to get my 600K Vehicle wrapped using Midwest Autobahnd because I used them 3 years ago on another high end vehicle.

During a phone conversation with Ross the owner he agreed to meet up the following business day to go over the project to see what needs to be done. The next business day came... no contact from Ross in any form... so I asked about the status and he rescheduled for the next day.

So we met the Day after the original schedule and went over the project and he told me I will receive a quote in the afternoon. Surprisingly again no contact at the given timeframe.

So I needed to contacted him again the next day to get the quote.

Now he requested 50% upfront payment with the explanation they are a small business and they have a tight cash flow and need to charge upfront for bigger projects (If I would chose the full package the maximum cost would be $4,825). The day before he told me they already did thousands of cars so far.

First of all why do I have to run behind a company to get a job done and second I don't think that's the way to handle returning customers requesting upfront payments when its a 2-3 day job and the payment is due on picking up the car anyway!
