Needed assistance as new dishwasher was missing a part. They wanted to charge over £100 for the part (a wheel for the the plate tray). Luckily I was able to find it online much cheaper.
Miele claimed the terms and conditions where different to the ones that were sold with the dishwasher.
Their website wouldn't allow me to register the warranty as per there instructions.
Customer service said they would get back to me but after almost two months (I have followed up with them to see if they will respond) - no response.
I won't be buying Miele again.
Any question dealt with understanding and attention.

Sadly our Miele washer dryer was condemned after many many years of service. Throughout the Miele support has been professional polite and timely. Thanks

The customer service is awful in Manila or somewhere used to be in UK. They were clearly speaking from an AI led script. The £59 remote call was cancelled by Miele but they never told us so we waited in for 3 hours then the £180 call out fee confirmed that our machine was completely broken and an engineer should never have been called because a remote call would have told them that immediately! So I feel aggrieved that we wasted £180 and want it back but the AI sounding person kept saying are we meeting your customer experience and I kept saying no we are furious we’ve had your machines for over 30 years and we want the £180 back. The customer service when you phoned Abingdon used to be brilliant but now it’s a complete hassle you just feel they don’t care. Such a pity such a shame I am absolutely livid this time .

Booking a service is easy, and the engineers are excellent. However, this was the fourth visit to fix our dishwasher this year (two call out payments of £180)- it was declared a write off. It's an 11 year old machine that is advertised as being tested to last 20 years. We were given a quote for a new machine (full price) and when we rang, they ere willing to take £180 off. I asked if £360 could come off- I was passed from sales to service to sales to service. When I pointed out I could buy the same machine more cheaply elsewhere they were uninterested. So, £360 down the drain ultimately.
Rapid response to service call. Excellent communication prior to arrival. Honest and professional technician. Was able to repair appliance on first visit as they had parts that may be needed on van.

This time I was really disappointed with their service. I am domestic and general and have 8 Miele appliances insured with them.
My tumble drier developed a fault and they subcontracted to DOMEX.
I took a day off for the repair. Today the engeener turnup and ask me if I can help to bring the machine down which I could not as I have canal stenosis. He immediately left so that the call will be rebooked. This happened despite me telling them at the time of booking that it is heavy and might need two people. Not only I wasted one day but I did not like the technician’s behaviour.
This is not exceptable and I have lodged a complaint with domestic and general and Miele. I must say it was not very pleasant experience

Shocking customer service! You’ve almost left me speechless following an online chat with someone called Jona T.
We have had our Miele Boost CX1 Cat and Dog which came with a Turboteq head. We have used this head a couple of times as the basic head is lighter and effective for most of our needs. But after two uses the Turboteq head has begun making an intolerable level of noise. We have not damaged or broken it. It is clean and does not have a mark on it.
We raised this with your online support chat and the agent immediately said we could replace the head but it would be chargeable. They didn’t even offer to chat through possible remedies.
This is our first experience of a Miele product having switched from using Dyson for many years.
The Turboteq head is clearly not fit for purpose, despite the agent saying it’s designed for durability. I would like your suggestions on how we might resolve this matter satisfactorily and without incurring any cost on our part. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Poor communication- too many staff
involved in ordering a Miele cooker hood
It took three months and were not able to advice on suitability as the one we had was obsolete. I had to write to the
Managing Director who finally was able to sort out the complexity.

My washing machine made a loud noise with smoke coming out of the door. Engineer was with me within 48 hours. He said it was too expensive to mend but as the machine was nearly 26 years old I was not surprised
Very polite and efficient he filled all the necessary forms for me to claim on the insurance. I had a new machine in less than a week
Excellent customer service

We decided to spend a little more and purchased the Miele Boost CX1 Cat & Dog, having owned Miele vacuums previously and always found them reliable, robust and powerful.
Unfortunately, it was noticeable from the outset that the suction was not as strong as our previous Miele model, and the power cable was significantly shorter, making it less practical to use.
The real problem, however, has been the TurboTeQ brush head. Within a short while of purchase, the brush head stopped working completely after becoming jammed internally. After several phone calls, Miele eventually arranged for it to be collected, repaired and returned.
Disappointingly, within a month of the repair, the same fault occurred again. I attempted to fix it myself but quickly discovered the unit is not designed to be dismantled or maintained by the customer.
When I contacted Miele for a second time, I was curtly informed that the TurboTeQ attachment is not covered under the warranty and that there was nothing they could do (even though they had fixed it once before). This was surprising and extremely disappointing. The attachment is supplied as part of the vacuum cleaner package and is essential to its intended use. Without it, the vacuum is significantly less effective.
At no point during the purchase process was it made clear that a key component of the product would not be covered under warranty. This feels unfair and leaves customers facing substantial repair or replacement costs for an item that appears prone to failure.
I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the response from customer service. Based on this experience, I would not purchase another Miele vacuum cleaner, nor would I recommend one to others.
