Junk oven

This high dollar oven can’t do the simplest functions. It overcooks in some areas and undercooks in others. Forget that you need lessons to learn how to use it. I’d give anything for a cheapo oven that just does the job.

Devil wears … Miele

more high-maintenance than Miranda Priestly on a bad week. 15 minutes of “rinse, “pre-heating,” machine turns off, turn it back on, “rinse” AGAIN, empty the water tray, add water to the bin, EVERYDAY… I give up. Reinstalled the nespresso. Done with this luke-warm (even at the highest setting) thousand dollar coffee.

Here’s another Bad Review of Miele’s customer service
Our dishwasher stopped working 4 weeks ago
Miele sent a technician who evaluated the machine on his first visit and than proceeded to order 2 computer boards…which took 2 weeks to arrive from Germany!! Wrong parts…he couldn’t fix the machine….had to order another, the correct part….which will take 2 more weeks to arrive in the US
Never buy from Miele…Abusive warranty work….all their parts are overseas spelling Long Wait times from feeble customer service👎👎👎

I HATE the Miele Triflex HX2 Runner…

I HATE the Miele Triflex HX2 Runner that I just purchased. I got it because I purchased one of their canister vacuums in 2005 and I love it. I wanted an updated cordless vacuum to replace it and trusted that Miele was still good. WRONG WRONG WRONG
This vacuum pulls too firmly on the carpet and when I tried to vacuum the hardwood in the kitchen, it didn't pick up dirt. I called them to return it and they basically told me F* you.
DON'T BUY FROM THEM unless you want to get suckered into buying an expensive POS that you can't return. They are not the company that they used to be.

Miele Service is Horrible

Miele initiated a service on my clothes dryer about "a potential problem." I had to agree or the warranty would be shot. The Miele service man came out and gouged my front door with his tool to lift the dryer. Of course that was not sufficient so he had to come out again with a helper to assist and deeply scratched the adjoining cabinet. No repair or response from Miele for either incident.

I googled Miele sucks and wound up here…

I googled Miele sucks and wound up here so here goes. A piece of metal on my 2019 dishwasher came loose so I called Miele service for repair. Instead of sending out a guy in a Miele truck wearing a Miele shirt they sent me some quasi English speaking Russian POS who destroyed my control panel and said he needed to send it out for repair s. Concerned, I called Miele and i discovered that although Miele sent him out to repair( they are now sending out any crappy company and claiming they’re authorized Miele repair people) the company he’s with had multiple one star ratings. God knows who he was going to get to repair the repair the panel. I decided I did not want this guy back in my house again and decided to eat it and just buy a new Miele dishwasher. When I told the repair guy my plan ( I called him to let him know I was going to replace the whole dishwasher he had the audacity to ask if he could have all the parts from my old dishwasher. ( and actually had the nerve to make a follow up call a week later to beg for the parts again. This is who Miele is farming out their high end work to — — disgusting. So I go out and buy a replacement model to the tune of 3 grand and change. The quality is literally half as good as the 2019 model. Miele also promised me a 400 dollar rebate on the new dishwasher which, rather than simply mailing me a check for 400 dollars like the old days, they forced me to take the rebate in the form of a gift card/Mastercard/ Apple Pay bullshit. I never got paperwork on the card number and never could calculate when the 400 was used up so I limited my spending to small purchases at coffee places. Today I tried to charge 24 dollars at Peet!’s coffee and the card got declined. Miele never told me there was an expiration date on the gift card. I discovered there was still a ninety five dollar balance on the card but I would have to pay Mastercard $12.95 to open the account back up. I told them to forget it. So what is the point of this long story? Miele sucks. Their dishwashers, once great are now crap, they’re outsourcing service to unqualified vendors and their “rebates” are whatever is easiest and cheapest for them. I am totally disgusted with this company. Thanks for listening.

Absolutely stay away from Miele!!!

Purchased a dishwasher from Miele. From day 1, the panel was malfunctioning and finally the entire device stopped working 2 months after purchase. Their service person, confirmed that the panel was not working. Despite this, refused to replace the dishwasher with a new one or to refund me. They said their policy is to repair the item first, despite the fact that the repair part is not available. The phone customer service also told me that the only way to get in touch with their headquarters is by mail, not phone, not email!! Basically i'm stuck with a broken dish washer and they take no responsibility. Disputing the charge on my credit card, and will do whatever it takes to get my money back. This company should not be in business in a country like US. This is about principle.

Miele dishwashers are a joke!

I purchased a new Miele dishwasher after the one I had broke down after only 6 years. The new dishwasher is only 6 months old and is now not working. I have to wait for 3 weeks for it to be repaired. This is a disgraceful product and I’m not confident in the product at all. All their claims in being a superior product is a lie. I should have put in another brand. Lesson learnt! I’m guessing they clearly don’t care about their brand image and promises they make after reading all the reviews here. I will never purchase Miele again.

Terrible

Terrible. We purchased one in 2014 for £$1500.00, an integrated dishwasher. We had a problem with the detergent container after two years and Miele ripped us off for $300 for a repair which didn't need doing. Customer service was deplorable. 10 years later the mother board is conked out and it will cost us £700.00 to replace. We have had innumerable problems in between. Miele is over priced and not worth it. Avoid at all costs. We are based in the UK.

This company is a horror

This company is a horror. Customer service does not exist. When they do respond it’s a bunch of meaningless word salad.

I ordered a vacuum at the end of August. They sent it signature required. I asked them to change this. Two days late they said they could not. Ups sent it out on a Saturday. I stayed home all day, 10a-10p. I had my porch lights on. Just before 10p, UPS marked it “delivery delayed” and never attempted delivery. I had to leave the next day on a business trip so I was not home when they tried to deliver M-Tu. I was back Wednesday afternoon and might have had a chance to receive it if UPS had not considered the Saturday non-delivery as one of their three attempts. They sent it back.

I heard from Miele with a form to use to send it back when it had been delivered to them a week earlier. I wrote back and got more word salad. I’ve now received 2 emails saying they are processing my refund. It’s October 23 and nothing. Fortunately I had my bank do a chargeback.

This company doesn’t give a rat’s backside about customers or their experience. I can’t speak for the product (obviously) but based on how they act, if you need warranty service, you’re not getting it. Scrap the product and buy something else from another company. I’ve never had a customer service experience this bad.

Miele built in coffee maker

Purchased a new built in Miele 7000 series coffee maker to replace a 6000 unit that was eight years old. For the last three months it has had electronic issues and they have sent out a certified technician five times. It still does not work. I have had long waits with dropped calls, promise of a supervisor to call back in 5-10 minutes which do not occur and now they expect me to get their technicians repair notes and send them to them. I have spent 15-20 hours between repair service and contacting them and still have a non functioning coffee maker. By far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have seven Miele appliances since 2016, and we have loved them up until now. I could never recommend buying any of their products after this.

Washing machine and dryer both not…

Washing machine and dryer both not working and Miele barely helpful except to offer to send someone out for $190 and charge me for every 30 min and parts to fix it. Fortunately gave me number for independent person from Melbourne equip services after I asked if anyone else and that person has told me over text how to fix washing machine problem and coming once gets part for dryer.

If you want customer care after buying and installing your appliances, do not buy Miele

We are terribly disappointed with Miele customer service. I have purchased three of their vacuums, an oven, a steam oven, a built-in coffee maker, and the rotary iron. Install for coffee maker and steam oven was in 2022. We have yet to use either one. I have exhausted all avenues. Customer service is SO unwilling to help. The manuals are written in German and then translated. The translation is impossible to follow. I was told by the one and only tech I had to pay $76 to talk to, that the manuals are useless. I took a class for the coffeemaker. The rep knew less than I did and their floor model was different than mine. And if I hear one more time, to look at You-tube videos, I could scream. After spending a lot of money on many appliances from different vendors, with our remodel. I have to say Miele is the abosolute worst. The only person I have hope of getting any help on using my two very expensive purchases is a saleswoman at the Beverly Hills store. I signed up for their class and it was canceled. I could go on and on with the frustration of trying to reach someone at Miele. I get nothing. Do not buy their products unless you are a tech genius who made the mistake of buying real high-end, look pretty, products. These two purchases are for restaurants and not the average homemaker.

No good options to repair a Miele High end coffee maker

High end coffee maker has worked reasonably well in 6 years but did have to ship it back a few years at a cost of almost $400 and loss of use for weeks. Now having a new issue and the Miele support line is pretty worthless. They simply take information and confirm it then they give you two crappy options. One is pay for a remote tech to help you fix your own machine. I’m skeptical this will work. Or ship the machine in to be fixed at a $360 cost and it will take weeks again. One would think there would be a local option they could offer at a more reasonable cost. Based on all of this not sure I’d buy this brand again. How can you sell a $3000 machine and not provide more support if needed??

Just not worth it the cost

Have my dishwasher for many years. Yeah it will last a looong time but I have to keep replacing one part, the intake valve, precisely every 2 years. The part is at least $250, has to be ordered and having it installed last time cost us over $500!
At this point we’ve replaced it 4 times!
Only bc I wanted to remodel my house and wanted matching appliances. That hasn’t been able to happen yet.

I won’t be purchasing another dishwasher

Parts NOT returnable

Called to return a part ordered directly from Mieleusa via phone. The company sent a part that only works with European machines (ie different voltage), so it did not work in our machine. We were told we could not return it because they have an UNWRITTEN 15 day policy. We have checked the order form and packing list, nowhere does it say the part needed to be returned within 15 days nor were we told this on phone while ordering. This is absurd since it was their mistake.

Service is a rip-off

Miele service is a rip off -- I called with a very clear and simple problem -- an electronic door lock on my washing machine wasn't working. Rather than tell me right off the bat that I would need an in home service call to asses the issue they gave me the option of a phone assessment which costs $65 -- In one minute when the problem was explained to the service person he informed me I'd need an in-person visit for $150 to diagnose the problem. Something I should have been told on my first call. While I can use a "Miele Service Person" and get credit for my initial payment I can get an in person visit from any other service company for "MUCH LESS" money. What is the point of having staff from the 'technical and Service" number - It seems for this company the only point is to scam users to buy their overpriced services.
