Purchased a lemon refrigerator and to the companies credit they exchanged it with a comparable refrigerator. I did approve the refrigerator but didn’t compare the dimensions or functions. My bad, but wrongly thought it’s similar as they said. When it shows up it was 6 inches short and didn’t have an ice maker! I will never buy anything from them again. I’ll also share my story.

My stove top was replaced with new and damaged again and due to lack of parts in the USA I have to wait more than 15 days. Please do not buy this brand. Very poor customer service. I have 3 of their kitchen products from them and I will begin to manage the total return.

Miele parts ordering was disappointing

Miele parts ordering was disappointing. Must order through central ordering in ON. Very little stock. I waited 3 weeks each time I ordered dryer parts and was told they do not send confirmation emails. Just send the parts FedEx from Germany.
I like the product but I’m unlikely to buy from them again based on the weird attitude they have about parts and bad communication like we are in the 1990’s.

WARNING do not purchase

I purchased a Miele dog cat vacuum from Amazon and received it on March 2, 2024, along with all of the available attachments. My total spend was over $600.00. I used the vacuum twice before both of my parents began to experience life threatening health issues that took me away from home. I returned home and moved parents in and tried to vacuum on July 31 and found the device had very very low suction. I followed all of the troubleshooting steps but could not resolve the issue. I called Miele support and submitted the requested documentation and declined taking the unit to a repair location and asked for a replacement. I did not think it was appropriate to spend 600+, use it and on the third use have to take it in for repair. After submitting the request for replacement I received an email from Miele telling me to handle through Amazon. This company does not stand behind their product at all. Run away. Do not purchase. You have no recourse with the company that built it.

Poor service

Having spent a small fortune on ovens the universal tray which came with the oven but retails at £123 is showing signs of damage and rust in the corners in less than 3 months. Response from Miele is that they do not provide any guarantee for accessories.

Poor quality, waste of money.

We used Miele vacuum for our new wool carpet (good quality one/commercial grade) for about 6 months. Just recently we noticed that the surface of the carpet became quite rough and with a lot of fluff/damaged loops. You can see details on photos - loop structure is broken is many places. It turned out that damage was caused by the vacuum head that had some sharp details underneath. We used our vacuum on a low pressure/suction mode according to the instruction, but our new carpets were still damaged in all 3 our bedrooms. After this, we contacted our retailer where we bought this vacuum, and they referred to the local Miele representative in Perth. They just informed us that there is no solution to this issue. While they admitted that Miele vacuums/their heads are not suitable for wool carpets/loop structure, they refused to provide refund (still on warranty), let alone to compensate the damage to our carpets. Then we contacted Miele Floor care team directly, and they again just confirmed that there is no solution for the issue, their vacuums aren't suitable for the loop structure/wool carpets, and refused to do anything about it. Overall, they just blamed us even though I mentioned many times that we used vacuum according to the instruction and in a very accurate way. We've read other comments and it turned out we are not single ones who have the same issue. Please be aware when you buying a Miele vacuum.

We are a large family and are very happy with our Miele products as we have all of our appliances in the new kitchen we made but our freezer has given us so many problems which has caused so much wasted food. We have had the technician here so many times. Justice May is a real professional but we need some relief more than just repeated service visits.

I am adding to this review that the ice maker is really slow

I would just say dont get yourself in the hassle of calling their customer service every other week with absolutely no help from them and dont buy their products. There so many other brands out there better quality better customer service. Please dont make the same mistake and dont buy Miele!!!

Third service call on our 3 1/2 yr old…

Third service call on our 3 1/2 yr old Miele washer for the same thing in ten months. Service is only warrantied for 90 days. Each service call is a charge of between $300 and $450.00

3 months of service calls and no answers

Bought a new Miele dishwasher and has been a never ending stream of issues and dissatisfaction:
3/29 - Purchased Miele dishwasher
4/15 - Dishwasher installed
5/18 - Machine stopped working
5/22 - Service diagnostic visit
5/29 - replaced part - still have issue; ordered another part
6/7 - showed up without needed part
6/10 - canceled service call day of
6/11 - showed up; still need to order the part
6/17 - tried new part; didn’t fix. Created case for escalation; require 3 attempts to repair before we can do anything else - scheduled again
6/25 - service canceled day of
To summarize- I’m $1600 in and have been handwashing my dishes for 3 months trying to resolve a faulty machine. Thanks!

Miele's product claims are vastly exaggerated

Miele makes claims in its advertisement that have proven false in my experience with their product.
I bought one of their Miele Triflex cordless and bagless vaccums.
Claim 1: "As strong as Miele’s most powerful corded vacuum series."
Unless I clean the filter every 30 minutes of vacuuming, it will actually not pick up cheerios.
Claim 2: "Exchangeable VARTA Li-Ion battery for up to 60 minutes run-time."
I get ca. 20 min of vacuuming time, not more.

Worse than the product: Miele's customer service. Unhelpful and a massive waste of my time. The many negative online reviews show that, ultimately, poor Miele's management is to blame for degrading what was once a leading brand.

RUBBISH. If i could give zero stars i would ! Aftercare shocking. No appointments for repairs . No call backs as promised TWICE in 5 days. . Poor quality, absurdly bad customer service

We bought several Miele appliances for our new home about 6 years ago. For the price of these appliances we reasonbly expected a high level of quality and longevity.
After countless repairs (none of which are easy to arrange given their indescribably poor attention to customer service), all of which were costly of course, I decided to provide some review comments. I could write a small essay on that; however i think it is sufficient to say that I can confirm many of the negative comments on this site. I am a very disappointed Miele owner.
I have advised friends and acquaintances to steer well clear of this company.

Do not buy anything from this company directly. They do not accept any returns. Their customer service was of no help what so ever. I purchased the Triflex HX2 Pro Infinity grey PF. The cordless vacuum does not have adequate suction and is very expensive. Received the product on Saturday, opened the box and tried the vacuum. After charging the battery. The vacuum worked for a total of 10 minutes with very weak suction. Then reached out Miele on the same day to return the vacuum. The offices were closed so I sent an email request and got no response. So I called customer service on Tuesday of the following week was told they have a no return policy. Save your money and time!

BRAND NEW & USELESS

BRAND NEW: Called service to be able to get it working 1st time. Worked twice. Third time wouldn't start. Not used since. Miele says they can have a tech check it for several hundred dollars. It's a $5500 steam oven plus the cost of installation & electrician's fees and it doesn't work. Miele refused to cover warranty. RIPOFF.

Terrible customer service

Hello All.

I placed two parts orders on May 9 and May 11 and I provided my credit card details to Miele twice. June 3, three weeks later I called to find out about the estimated delivery date and the customer service person said that my card had not gotten through and that the parts were not shipped.

Why didn't anyone call me to let me know that the card did not go through? These orders were placed on 2 different days in May. It's your system that declined them. On June 3 I gave you the exact same card and it went through. Also I used the card card noone else said there was an issue with my card.

Plus your escalation process is bad. I asked to escalate and I get an email, not even a phone a day later. Horrible customer service from such a big company...

After I talked to miele on Monday June 3, the parts are arriving 2 days later on Weds June 5. So you can ship expectedly it's your process and your system that is bad.

Marguerite, customer service is very poor. They ran a promotion and I did not receive my free gift and is less than 10 days. I did reported before the order was shipped, and Marguerite who is so stupid still sending me a email I that it should added to the order. So that is not there fault. Every every see such a very poor customer and bad company in my life I am so disappointed with this company and I don’t this I will refer any one to purchase from them. Do not purchase a Miele dryer I own…

Do not purchase a Miele dryer I own one. Trouble from day 1. The ‘ Clean plinth alarm ‘ goes off all the time. So far 6 times this morning. They sent a pair guy out twice. Never fixed. Now they want $300 to come to fix something they never fixed. Then dealer told me they were replacing the whole dryer. It never happened. I have purchased many new plinth filters. Does not help. Stay away from their dryers. HORRIBLE !!!!!!! Sorry.
