Mighty Networks offers a lot of resources for those new to the platform. Setting up my community has been fairly easy and user friendly. They're in-house AI is good, but it does take a couple of days... See more

They will not unsubscribe me. Multiple emails asking to unsubscribe which they agree but then keep sending me emails. Set my profile to "Off" and they still send emails. This is a tactic from the 90's.

Dreadful experience. Unable to leave no stars? Wanted a 14 day free trial period with happy horse, but you HAVE to give bank details. Said I wasn't happy and said I didn't want free trust after all. They instructed to go to 'profile' but I there is not one. Cannot get anywhere with 'help' line, just continual 'ready made answers

Tried to sign up but they wouldn't let me register with my paid for email service despite emailing their support team over a week and their CEO didn't even have the courtesy to reply to my direct email. Based on the experience I've had with them they offer zero support and are poor are getting back to you when you need help. If this is how they treat potential customers then I dread to think how they treat existing paying customers.

It's a great platform for someone who doesnt have the tech background - they are really trying hard to make sure they provide support - which is difficult for so many time zones. Keep going! Well done!
I've been wanting to start an educational platform almost 15 years now, but I hesitated because the technology wasn't where I wanted it to be. Now, I'm all in on Mighty Networks. Members come for the content and stay for the community.
The platform lets you lead workshops on the fly, curate resource libraries, and even host small conferences. Your members connect throughout it all so it gives more meaning to what they are learning.
I also love that MN is continuously evolving and member focused. Great support and service.

Highly recommended fo running online courses, teaching and learning!
The decision to use MightyNetworks as the technology to support our community was based on our hope to be able to focus on our members and their needs and not on the design, development, and administration of a technology platform. MightyNetworks delivers in every way possible to include outstanding guidance as to how to create a community-focused organization, regular improvements based on a deep understanding of how to align technology with community needs, excellent support, and an absolute cost value compared to the cost of custom development. We trust MightyNetworks and are pleased to be part of their community.
I really am enjoying working with Mighty Networks. I would like to be able to charge in Canadian dollars vs US since I am in Canada and so are all my members.

Your customer service has been very challenging to work with. Not enough flexibility with designing. To limited when in comes to groups and courses. My members also find it difficult to navigate.
Thank you

More flexibility with topics and categories would be nice.
I'm a Mighty Networks early adopter who turned "lifer". This was (FINALLY) the perfect platform to provide my community a place--away from the distractions and problematic biz model of FB--where they can connect authentically, and spend lots of time knowing they always leave enriched. Now I have my paid courses and groups in my MN, too, so the whole ecosystem really adds value for my clients.
What has moved me from early adopter to lifer are these factors: 1. New evolutions of MN keep making the platform more awesome for my clients and for me 2. The Mighty Hosts network covers all one needs to learn and grow a network--whether you are a beginner or been around a long time like me. 3. The customer service: responses to my request for "host help" are fast, efficient, and thoughtful. I'm not some user hunting forever for info in some cloud of other users (I HATE that!), I get real support from MN experts.
When this platform is the right fit for my clients to build their communities/courses/etc, I readily recommend it to them, too!

Mighty Network is good in a lot of ways; group hosting, paid groups and courses, etc. Although there are many ways that things are much more difficult to share here than would be ideal. Example; you can't go live inside the groups OR post a plain video. The video must first be uploaded elsewhere (like youtube or vimeo) before it can be shared here. That creates extra steps for my team and has really prevented any of my clients (group members) from being able to share in the ways they want to.
The inability to customize the dollar amount you want to charge for a plan is also frustrating as well as the big delay on receiving expense reports timely.
Over all, it's a good platform, just missing some key parts to make it great in my opinion
I am sort of torn between 4 stars and 5 stars. Overall this had been a great tool for the migration of our membership site away from Peepso and BuddyPress, so very happy with this so far.
I would like to see a number of features developed or enhanced, so hopefully, they may happen down the road. The paid community rate has worked fine, would love to go to a business plan but the jump is still a bit steep for us at this stage.
Things that I would like to see ...
1. A simple way for our members to upgrade their membership plan without first having to leave their current plan and then rejoin. Way too much risk in losing someone.
2. A way to customize the invite tool across all of our members for consistant wording and branding.
3. On the App - a way to know who is online - there porbably is but it is not easily visible.
4. Some better moderation features or a period to moderate new users before they can post unmoderated.
I love the look and the abilities; but I have had trouble maximizing what it can do. I wish there was a spot to hire someone to set it up.

Mighty Networks is helping me build a community! We can stay connected no matter what state we live in. It’s been a blessing!
women-owned and designed, beautiful interface and accessible friendly support. A great and very special platform!
I love the platform and Gina’s (CEO) vision. Having said that, I would love it much more if I had a reasonable price for a true white-label option (to full hide MightyNetworks brand presence).
On the other hand, some people of the support team are not responsive enough. I have been struggling with some issues and they are just reactive asking questions in a ping-pong dynamic with a total lack of proactivity.
The response time was very slow. Explanation of the fees was much clearer tha it was originally positioned in the website’s pricing structure. However, The lack of payment options and the heavy fees associated with stripe, mighty networks and conversions, combined, is deterring.
