While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Not a serious company. Refuses to give out phone numbers to the support department. Tricks its users into long subscriptions that cannot be canceled. Avoid.

Would not recommend this to anyone. Stay away. Horrible tool, horrible support!

I started to use PocketLaw 2 years ago. Everytime I have used the tool, new restrictions in our subscribtion has come up.
About 18 months ago I got a new deal to be able to use the templates I needed. But this fall they charged twice the price we agreed on.
In our agreement it said nothing about the price beeing limited in time. And the account manager promised me to repay the amount that wasn't agreed on.
But since then the company has stopped answering my emails.
So NO this is not a serious business. Helping companys with agreements and policys, but can't handle their own?
To bad when it´s a good idea and the templates are usefull (when you're aloud to get to them).

Our experience with Pocketlaw is good. It is an intuitive, easy-to-use but also complex solution that covers in our basic needs within law. We have been customers in almost a year, and have seen some development within the system (hope to see some more, though).
However, they are now raising prices quite extensively and we hope to get value for the money even in the future and continue having an open dialogue when necessary.

The product lacks in many ways and actually creates more frustration.
Creating contracts is on par with other solutions except you can only work with 1 document at a time.
I've used free tools with better folder structure & bulk action features..

Easy to use, intuitive and with elaborative explanations to choices to make

Everything from the demo team going over the platform to then when we used the platform and started migration to it, how easy it became very quickly to streamline what was taking us hours before.

Same bad experience as rest of reviews…
Overpromise and fool you in on subscription that is not needed. When you just require one or two templates.
I have also heard that they have toxic management causing people to leave the company. Makes sense in a way.

Reply from Miramis Technologies
Scam and useless! They lock you in a subscription that you can't get free from. They also change the product so they don't deliver what you signed up for. All staff are quiting and they dont answer your e-mails. Total waste of money!

This is the worst start-up experience I ever had. Since Christmas, I am struggling with them to fix THEIR issues. As a client, you feel like a guinea pig like in a Kindergarten!!! There was not ONE occassion I could think of where there was no bug, no feature, no missing tool, no login issues, no unexpected changes in their software. It led to the fact that today - yes it´s a bank holiday but I expect that the platform works there as well - I could not create a contract the THIRD time now. Today the login does not work, for instance. Last weeek I received an email with "changes" not mentioning which changes, and getting the response everything would be the same. Another time very profound features of a consultancy agreement, such as retainer fee, were missing. I have seen a lot in my life in different countries, but never such a chaotic start.up and software like this with 80-90% of bugs ALWAYS when I log in or want to use it. They are friendly and try ot fix it by WHO PAYS MY TIME serving as a "test client"? I can´t believe they got a A Series funding! I am not surprised investors lose a lot of money, since they only look at business plans instead of USING the software. I only can advise to go back to the roots and test the tools BEFORE they throw it on the market, and not create new changes over and over again. It feels like operating at a "living" patient without narcosis.

Feels like a bit of a scam as they lock you into long subscriptions and they will not let you unsubscribe

Reply from Miramis Technologies
A great idea, but currently useless. The app is basically a collection of contract templates in combination with a text editor so bad it will make you long for the original Microsoft Word.
Since the contracts are just templates, it means they will never fully fit your needs. You will always need to add and change stuff, which is next to impossible in their editor, and also means that you still need to have your own lawyer making sure any addition is legally valid and enforceable.
The tool is a waste of money, and outright dangerous as the way it's structured makes you believe that the additions you make to the contracts are legally valid.
Another thing to beware of is that they sign you up for a year on the spot, and you can't change your subscription even two days after you signed up. I guess otherwise too many people would leave after first time trying it. Scammy behavior, which should reduce anyone's trust in their legal expertise.
