This is a very 'understanding' website.
I am not yet actively involved but I find it a comfort too know that my situation is not unique and I benefit from reading the views of others in my situation,

I have found the emails very informative & helpful in supporting my sister.

It had been great to get the weekly newsletters, they are so useful and intonation. Although I have been a carer for a number of years there is still a good deal to learn and also sometimes just knowing that I am doing things that are discussed, validates what I am doing.

This is a great site for all of us who are caring for someone. It’s a community and when things are at their bleakest, and you don’t know which way to turn, or you just need advice, the support is phenomenal. No one judges each other, it’s just full of amazing supportive people.

I was having a few unhappy days & there was a check in rating on the email. Underneath I could organise a phonecall to talk to someone for 30mins. I arranged this & I spoke to Faye about a few problems. It was nice to have someone at the end of a phone who was kind, non judgemental & supportive. Thank you to Faye. This is a great service for anyone who is a Carer & just needs to have a chat . Thank you for your kindness.
