I purchased a Koncept equo floor lamp. Almost immediately after my purchase o received communication from a real human regarding logistics. I received the lamp quickly and without delay. Excellent customer service, communication, and competitive pricing.
This place is really miserable. They put products on their American store (.com, not .ca) in America in imperial units. Only when scrolling down do you realize it's centimeters and not Inches, as one would assume, as, in every other store in America, units used are imperial.
Don't be fooled - They also have grshop.com - The same store, but, this one has a huge banner saying they're in Canada on it. Modern Planet doesn't. This is obviously intentional to trick American buyers.
The buyer is responsible for shipping the item back with a whopping 20% restocking fee. It's not even worth it to return something. May as well sell it online.
They really couldn't care less about your satisfaction. Hopefully this review will cost them a sale equal or surpassing the amount they would have suffered taking my return without a restocking fee.

Modern Planet has a great selection of high end, great design furniture. Their prices are the best of any place with the same inventory. Customer service is outstanding. I have bought here already several times and each time it was a really good experience with another great piece making my house look fabulous.
