This company goes above and beyond for their customers! I had an issue with an order where it wasn’t going to be shipped for two weeks. I am on a very strict diet due to medication and these meals helped me not feel so isolated about food. They were able to make an exception and do a one day shipping for me so that way I can get my meals for the week! I am so grateful for a company that listens to their customers and wants the best for them. I highly recommend this company, especially if you have any kind of food related restriction. The meals are so flavorful and easy to cook!

The delivery was always later than the initial estimate. All the chicken menu were tough and dry.

I think its just me I have gut issues...but, this food doesn't taste good. Very bland

I will say that since I've started the meals my gut doesn't bloat after eating and doesn't make me feel like I have to go to the restroom right after I eat. Plus the portion doesn't allow you to over eat just enough.

Some of the meals are good, others kind of mediocre. Dry chicken and tough steak. The plastic film over the meal is very tight and difficult to remove. However the sodium level is much lower than anything else I’ve seen and I really appreciate that so will continue using.

I ordered a set of meals for someone and unbeknownst to me the service continued for weeks continually charging my account $550 more than the original order. It was not at all clear to me that the service would continue and on top of that the site wouldn't let me cancel the service or delete my payment info without calling customer service. only got a partial refund. they cancled my card but i was unable to delete its info as you can only "update" it. terrible.

I based this review primarily on the turkey meal, which was a 1-star experience for me.

The turkey dish I received looked nothing like the menu photo. The representative image showed sliced turkey breast with sauce; what arrived was shredded/pulled turkey mixed into sauce with an unappealing, mushy texture. Presentation, flavor, and texture were all disappointing, and the meal felt very much like institutional food — closer to hospital food or a nice school cafeteria than a premium meal service.

To be fair, customer service was responsive, and they promptly refunded me for the turkey meal, which I appreciate. Delivery was also fine — everything arrived cold and on time.

That said, there are other drawbacks that add up:

A large amount of packaging waste

Ice packs that must be discarded or stored (how many can one realistically reuse?)

Plastic trays that need to be washed before recycling, which adds friction

Significant box breakdown and sorting required

Overall, the food feels optimized for medical or institutional settings, not for people looking for real, whole, enjoyable meals. If you’re seeking comfort, texture, and clearly identifiable whole foods, this may not be the right service for you.

I’m hesitant to try the remaining meals, though I’ll keep an open mind. Based on this experience, however, this service isn’t a good fit for what I’m looking for.

I tried them with the half-off offer, even though it was still more expensive than other options I've purchased, I didn't see the bad reviews until after I made the purchase but I decided to give them a try. The postal packaging was done nicely but I'm still wondering why they say they're in Alpharetta, GA when it was packaged & sent from NC?! The portions are extremely small & have absolutely no flavor. The photos will definitely fool you because none of the meals would fit in a small plate. I tried 2 out of the 6 meals & gave the rest of them away. The meals I ordered were supposed to be Mediterranean but had absolutely ZERO Mediterranean spices. And all meals came with white potato, white rice, etc. Someone needs to let them know that the Mediterranean diet encourages the consumption of brown rice and other whole grains as part of its emphasis on fiber-rich, nutrient-dense foods. As a "whole grain" with its bran layer intact, brown rice is preferred over refined white rice to provide essential nutrients like B vitamins, magnesium, and fiber. These are the things I need to eat to extend my life due to health issues. The only positive rating goes to the Customer Service. They're very kind & will respond to email quickly. Good luck!

I am enjoying the meals so far. Great varieties and they taste great!

The plastic packaging of the meals is very hard to open. The meals are good. Sometime mushy.
