i havent get any problem other than it needs his time to open mc, without that it would be a 5 star review
I had a pretty good experience with Modrinth, but I ran into some issues. First off, Modrinth wouldn't make Minecraft profile for custom projects. Second, Minecraft would crash a lot when running mods... See more

Actually spended like 2 hours on trying to fix this issue because it worked perfectly fine 10 hours ago
Very disappointing experience with Modrinth.
I was banned from their Discord for what was described as “weird behaviour,” and after that there was basically no meaningful support available. Review times for projects have also been extremely long, which is especially frustrating when you're actively trying to work on and release something.
My interactions with staff felt disrespectful, dismissive, and at times unnecessarily hostile rather than helpful.
Compared to my experience with CurseForge, Modrinth has been far more frustrating to deal with. CurseForge has simply been the better platform for support and getting projects handled in a reasonable way.
amazing costumer support!
Essential in Minecraft Modding
Open source, the app and the api is great, it easy to use and easy to upload your own mods.
Minecraft wasnt working and modrinth…
Minecraft wasnt working and modrinth fixed it. I love you guys :)
Crashes too much
I would love to be able to run an instance without restarting my entire computer
Perfect Work
For me, the platform for Minecraft Mods is absolutely fine. You have the mods in one place, you install them with one button, which also installs the requirements, easy creation of new instances, etc... I am really satisfied. Perfect work. I also subscribe to Modrinth Plus for support, because I think the creators really deserve it.
Long Wait, No Answers
A two-week review time is already far too long. After waiting, I received a rejection with only a generic reference to the rules. When I asked what exactly needed to be fixed, I never received a reply.
am a Minecraft resource pack developer…
am a Minecraft resource pack developer from Algeria, publishing on Modrinth under the username "khalilsersoub" I have been an active and legitimate creator on the platform for a long time, with a history of successful withdrawals.
In April 2026, my USDC withdrawal was suddenly blocked with no explanation. I later received two emails from Modrinth staff — one accusing me of botting (artificially inflating downloads) with zero evidence provided, and another asking me not to resubmit my project "No Fog V2."
My total balance of $793.16 remains frozen. $449.14 is marked as "available" in my dashboard, yet I am completely blocked from withdrawing it.
I have reached out multiple times through Discord, email, and support channels — with little to no response. No evidence of botting was ever shared with me, and I was given no opportunity to defend myself.
This is unacceptable treatment of a creator who earned their money legitimately. I urge anyone considering monetizing their work on Modrinth to be aware of this risk.
Absolute sell out
Absolute sell out. I was hoping for an actual community focused mod hosting website.
Easy for starters website
its very great website to download mods/resource packs, and even SHADERS (which i really love shaders), honestly, i'd recommend anyone whos reading this to visit the website if your new to modding Minecraft
Unnecassary
Expects you to sign in with something as important as your Microsoft account when competitors allow you not to do so. Very unnecessarily sketchy.
Service for creators
Just made my first withdraw and it went flawlessly. Didn't take more than 2 mins for it to get on my Bank account.
for building modpackt is great but for…
for building modpackt is great but for support HORRIBLE. My server will constantly go offline for hours at a time and support only responds once every 8 hours really disappointing from such a well known company.
bad support
i mean the launcher is great yea but the support? its REALLY bad , many people ( and me ) are getting ignored with giant problems about the app . mods and stuff it has are great but rest just bad , curseforge is better vro
Unscrupulous Malware
It's basically just a scam. I tried downloading modpacks. Not only does this useless app default to WAY too low memory allocation for modpacks, but when you try to launch the modpacks it gives accusatory error messages that I did not allocate enough memory. So basically you have to do the manually configuring the launch yourself.
Once I figured that out and finally got the modpack launched, it was only once then that modrinth confessed they do not have license to most of the mods from the pack, and I had to install them manually. Very dishonest and scamlike software. Should have told me before the 2 hours of headache that I wasn't even getting the modpack that they were alleging I would get. Literally just a waste of time.
Best experience!
Honestly, had some issues, that was the case of the Better MC mod, contacted the help through that little chat, got reply from Stantios within 5-10min and instantly fixed all issues that I had. What a brilliant guys, honestly. Not sure why a lot of bad reviews, they did great. Thank you so much!
