1-star is the lowest rating Trustpilot allows, but if I could give Moneyfarm's Cash ISA a -1 star, I would.
I opened this ISA through eToro because I've always had a positive experience with their platform. Unfortunately, my experience with Moneyfarm has been extremely disappointing.
The issues started with slow deposit processing, inaccurate investment statistics, and poor customer service. The biggest problem, however, has been trying to withdraw my own money. What should have been a simple process turned into weeks of delays, repeated verification requests, conflicting information from customer service agents, and multiple failed withdrawal attempts.
On several occasions, I was told by different agents my funds would reach my bank account the next day, only for nothing to happen and the money to be reversed back into the Cash ISA account, up until this morning, I have not gotten my funds, which were first requested on 8th MAY, 2026.
For any financial platform, seemless withdrawals, accurate reporting, and good customer service are basic expectations. Sadly, Moneyfarm has fallen short in all of these areas.
I only wish I had read the reviews here before opening the account.
I tested both MoneyFarm and Trading 212 Cash ISAs (the whole experience for customers is easy; you won't even have to reach out to any customer service agent) unlike MoneyFarm Cash ISA, I will not advise anyone to open a Cash ISA with them.

Zero star. I opened a Cash ISA transfer request and initiated a transfer request from another ISA provider to Moneyfarm. After Moneyfarm confirmed they had been working on the transfer, 3 weeks passed with no news, only for the other ISA provider to tell me they never received any request. I contacted Moneyfarm by email, they took a long time time to reply and had no idea what was going on, nor could they explain why no request had been made. Totally chaotic, clueless. I would not trust them with my money or their unprofessional service. AVOID.

Zero stars if I could. Trying to transfer out my money. No one answers the phone, leaving you completely in the dark while they hold your capital. To make matters worse, when they finally released my funds, they sent them completely blank without an account name or personal reference number. My money is now sitting in limbo because Moneyfarm won't answer inquiries from my new broker to confirm the transfer details.
Avoid this platform if you want reliable access to your own money or expect any form of competent customer support.

Terrible almost non existent customer service. I have messaged / emailed 3 times to try and change my bank details for deposits and withdrawals. To date 2 weeks later and nothing has been updated.
UPDATE 02-06-26
Words fail me. I post a negative review and of course there is an instant "We are sorry. This is not the service our clients expect" etc etc. I contact Moneyfarm again and foolishly expect action. All I wanted to do was update my bank details. I am still waiting. Next step is to report them to the FCA and close my account. If they can't manage a simple admin request I am not prepared to trust them to look after my finances.
Dear MoneyFarm I have come to the conclusion that the best method of communication with you is via Trustpilot as all my direct emails never receive a response. Two weeks ago I requested that my account is closed. Can you please action this as a matter of urgency. Thank you.

Where do I even begin to start with this company !
I decided to transfer my cash ISA on the 29th April. After finding a better option elsewhere, I decided to cancel the transfer, which they even state in their terms you are allowed to do within 30 days.
I emailed and phoned on the 30th April and spoke to a lady explaining that I wanted to cancel and was told i’d be contacted by their ISA team. No contact that day, but received a reply to the email on the 1st May, saying that they had sent a request to the ISA team to cancel the transfer. Heard absolutely nothing for over a week, and had to send another email, which they eventually replied to on the 15th May with the usual excuses of receiving a high volume of queries (hate to think why) confirming the my transfer request was cancelled. During this time I noticed that my funds were still showing in the account, occasionally making a few quid in interest, so it clearly hadn’t been cancelled, and instead invested. Tried calling, and you are left on hold for around 5 minutes and then cuts off as no advisors apparently available.
The ISA Transfer to my new provider has taken 3 weeks, where as if you moved to any other ISA provider, you’d have your cash moved over within a couple of days. Not here, it has literally dragged on for the full 15 business days. After all this, I made about half in interest with Moneyfarm than I would have if I’d have left it in my previous account which had a worse interest rate. Says it all really, and easily the worst financial decision I’ve ever made.

warning - to withdraw your savings/investments is a slow two stage process that is poorly explained on their website and its awkward to navigate. You have to first give the request to withdraw a certain sum. You then have to wait 2/3 working days until that sum appears as 'cash' in your account. You have to log in again to instruct Moneyfarm to transfer the cash to your bank account. Moneyfarm then take another 1 or 2 working days before the sum will appear in your bank account. So you have to log in between stage 1 and stage 2 to check if the funds are available - they don't message to tell you. Nor do they message to inform you of the progress of stage 2 to see if the sum has been transferred. I logged in only to see the word "pending' and had to phone them for more info. Why are the funds not transferred to your bank as soon as the sale proceeds are available ? It should be the same day . When I raised these issues over the phone nobody was available to explain or justify. It should be a clear, simple and quick procedure to withdraw funds but Moneyfarm make it a slow and cumbersome process with no clear and obvious guidance.

Do not use this company if you want good customer service. They are virtually impossible to get on the phone and handle Probate cases in the most appalling and undignified manner!!

I was facing a technical issue with disinvesting funds and Anna kept me informed regularly of the progress of the engineering fix, and I got access again within 24h which was great.

Moneyfarm helps me maintain a clear and organised investment portfolio. My time invested in managing this portfolio is minimal. I trust the team to rebalance the portfolio when necessary. They keep me informed and rebalance it promptly if required. I am very pleased with the outcome to date.

Very good returns over the last seven years, better than my ETF. The cost is a little higher but it's more than covered by the results.
The few times I have needed to ask questions the customer service was excellent.
Easy to use interface both on desktop and mobile.
MOST IMPORTANT: very minimal nagging offering new product and services: just the occasional email so that I am informed, but not so much that it makes me want to leave!
Update: the reply below is clearly AI. Fine, I don't them to waste human capital on this, but perhaps this indicates their support won't be as good now.

Very happy with my investment within MF but a few years ago we appointed a local financial advisor to help guide us through investments and trusts and the like. We are extremely happy with the advice he provides and, only fair to say, he has never suggested that I should switch our MF investment to a facility under his control.

It is impossible to get in touch with them once you are invested. Chat bot conversations are ignored. Emails are ignored. Calls are never answered. Avoid at all costs

Took out cash ISA because the rate looked decent, then watched it drop almost every week until it was nowhere near the market rate. Decided to move some of it out and put in a transfer request , that was 20 days ago. Request just sitting there being ignored. Moved the rest over to capitize in the meantime, at least I know that's not going anywhere.

I've used Moneyfarm for a few years and they've helped me save a significant amount with little effort on my end. They are constantly managing and changing my portfolio to match the market and I trust them with my money.

Responses to inquiries were often delayed, and when assistance was provided, it lacked the depth and clarity needed to properly resolve issues or answer important questions. This created unnecessary stress, especially when dealing with financial matters that require trust and confidence.

While I’m happy with my 3 month old S&Share ISA performance, I have to say their customer service is pathetic!!
Five working days to respond to emails.
Pretty poor service when you do get a response (eg they haven’t been able to find my account using my email or my full name!)
I reckon they just haven’t bothered!
So I’m about to move my ISA elsewhere!

Great investment platform. The app is easy to use. For topping up investments or checking in on them. 7 plus different levels of risk for your stocks and shares ISA.
Plenty of advice too either AI chat or book an advisor over the phone.
Would recommend.
