Included screws are very poor quality and it is difficult to request a spare screw to be sent if they get damaged

I have bought and assembled the Lit Cabine DWT.

The bed is very nice, but the screws shipped with it are very poor quality. The hex head hole is slightly larger than the provided hex key, the material of the head is soft, and attaching the side rails requires quite a lot of force.
The hex key slipped when tightening one of the screws resulting in the socket rounding off and it was impossible to continue with the screw. I removed it with some difficulty with the hope that a spare screw was included.

Unfortunately there are no spare screws included, these are hard to source locally, and attempts to request after sales service to send a replacement (at my expense) so far have not been fruitful.

I initially received a boiler plate response asking me to send an order number and photo of the manual with the screw and part number highlighted. When I responded to this mail, I received in reply an emailed copy of the manual with the body of the email in Spanish. Again I responded with the information of the screw I require and an offer to pay for the screw and postage costs, if they can please send it to me.

So far I would rate the aftersales service quite poor. After spending €570 on a bed, I would have expected they could post me one screw relatively easily. Instead this has become a tiring back-and-forth between me and aftersales service where they seem to be avoiding at all costs sending an part (at my expense) which probably costs them less than 5c.

Just awful

Just awful! Our order is well overdue for delivery with no tracking number available and yet you simply can not contact the business. Their phone number doesn't work. Their contact is form on their site crashes every time I submit a request. Infuriating to deal with!

Long delivery time, good product

We received the changing table a month after ordering it which we think is quite long as not mentioned upon purchase. When it came, the wrong pieces were in the box unfortunately. The customer service responded very quickly to our request which we were please with however it took weeks again before we received the correct pieces. We are happy with the table, just took lots of time.

The company,i feel, delivered the order Asap. We ordered on thursday and we got it on tuesday : France to Ireland. I mean...the quality of the material and my room now smels beautiful from that wood. Beautiful design and kiddos loved the bed.

The worst customer service and logistics I have experienced in my career

I’m an interior designer and ordered four beds for a client in London, across two properties. The designs met the brief perfectly: they matched the online description, assembled well and looked good. Unfortunately, the customer service and logistics were the worst I’ve experienced in my career.

Customer service responses took over 24 hours and when they did arrive, all previous correspondence seemed to be forgotten the following day. Messages appeared to come from a representative called 'Harris', though with no continuity or memory of ongoing issues, I doubt it was a real person.

Logistics were even worse. One bed was sent to the UK, then redirected back to France, then to the UK again, and back to France — all without accountability from the company. Blame was placed on the courier with no interest or follow-up from the company. My client has 24 hour security so no deliveries would ever be missed on their part. One component eventually arrived two weeks late, but collection of this unwanted piece was handled with equal disregard. My client’s refund was withheld until the item reached their warehouse, despite the delays being entirely their fault.

An utterly disappointing and frustrating experience.

Great bed big enough for kid and a parent

I've had this bed for over a year now..Review

I've had this bed for over a year now. My son loves it! It was easy to assemble. We ordered the - House Bed DB 90x190. The only issue we have is that we need to glue some connections (according to instructions) as well as use screws and bolts. We are moving soon and wondering if this glue will damage the furniture, as we will have to dismantle it and then reassemble it. We ordered the mattress from Mon Lit. Unfortunately, the mattress is not comfortable.

Not living to their reputation

I chose this brand for their reputation of quality despite the higher price as compared to other brands and I am very disappointed at the client service, and the products. The quality of the bed seems to be good but there is no will to help with client complains. I had 3 complains linked to the deliver of a bed with mattress and some decoration items. At the first contact, the client service only took one in consideration and I had to remind them that it was not the only issue.
The security fence initially delivered was 5cm too short and could not be installed on the bed. Despite sending clear photos, they continued to ask for additional proof that the fence was 5cm by taking additional pictures, delaying the time to treat my complain when the problem was already obvious. They finally sent a new one which was damaged. When I sent them the pictures of the damaged one, they replied that the broken part was small and would not be visible after mounting on the bed, offering only 30€ discount on the next purchase. I bought a brand new bed and I am expecting to have it brand new, not with a broken piece, even if it was not visible (which is not even true, the broken part is on the top of the fence). The minimum they can do is sending a new intact fence; an additional discount would be appreciated to compensate for the troubles but is definited not enough.
I also filled a complain concerning the mattress as it is 94.5cm large instead of 90cm, with the internal foam being 92cm. The bed and mattress are sold to be 90x190cm. They answered that according to their supplier, the internal foam could have an error margin of 2cm so for them it was ok and I should have accepted as such. First, the website does not mention this error margin. Second, the mattress is not just the internal foam, but both foam and cover together and as such the mattress is 4.5cm too large, which of course does not fit confortably in the bed. I didn't buy the mattress with their supplier but with them so it's their obligation to replace/reimburse a defective product. It's now been a month since I filled the complain and reexplaining the situation and I still don't have a conclusion to this issue. I asked for a full refund in exchange to give back the mattress but they are not answering. I am now considering getting in touch with a legal councellor to be able to obtain what I am entitled to have. I paid for the bed and items in full, I am just asking to have what I paid for.

Our mattresses are made from various high-quality foams. Due to the nature of these materials, the dimensions may occasionally vary slightly, though this has no impact on their comfort or use, and all our customers are generally very satisfied with the result.

We have taken note of your review and regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. You appear particularly dissatisfied with the mattress, which is why we have offered to collect it.

As for the barrier, the reported defect is objectively very minor. In such cases, most of our customers prefer a commercial gesture, which is generally well received. Nevertheless, in order to avoid any further dispute, we have chosen to send you a new barrier, which will be dispatched shortly.

Not receiving my order

I’ve ordered a express delivery bed and since one week the parcel hasn’t been in transit or handover to GLS. The customer service doesn’t reply to my messages and I guess I need to flag it next to my credit card company to get a refund. Very bad experience so far. The best was supposed to be delivered within 24-48 hours and since over a week the tracking only says order not delivered yet to GLS only the label has been created. Order : IDNNWYDMQ

I rarely leave reviews

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Mon Lit Cabane has been deeply disappointing from start to finish and must be shared.

I placed an order back in May, and not only was the promised delivery window completely ignored, but I also spent months without any proper communication. Despite multiple emails from my side (which are even visible in my customer account on their own website), the company failed to reply. When they finally did, their response falsely claimed they had never heard back from me — a clear contradiction that reflects incompetence and lack of internal coordination.

I was told my order was on hold pending confirmation, even though the payment had already been processed via PayPal and is clearly marked as complete in my order history. How could a professional business not track something so fundamental?

The customer service is disrespectful, careless, and entirely unhelpful. I had to send proof of every single interaction and payment, which they should have had on record themselves.

And after all this, there is still no tracking number, no shipping confirmation, and no guarantee that the product — if it ever arrives — will match the quality promised. The entire process has been frustrating, time-consuming, and frankly insulting.

As a first-time customer, I can confidently say it will be my last. I strongly advise others to stay away from this company. They do not respect deadlines, they ignore client concerns, and they take no accountability for their internal mess. Disgraceful.
