A Good Gift
Bought the CD1 for my grandson's birthday. This kid is obsessed. Rides it every single day after school and all weekend. The build quality is definitely there, feels solid, not like some cheap plastic toy. Battery stays strong.

The bike was difficult to assemble…
The bike was difficult to assemble because some of the steps are very unclear. Customer service was absolutely horrible. I sent them several emails that went unanswered, until I finally sent them an irate email about how horrible their customer service was. By that time I had gotten my second trike from a different manufacturer that was much easier to deal with. The bike was okay, but poor customer service ruined the hype.

Mooncool has been great to work with. I have seem much negative but that happens to all companies. I have nothing but good to say about Mooncool & the products they offer. The bike is high quality, came as expected and quicker than anticipated. The assembly instructions could be a little more detailed but we were able to get it together. Customer service was very helpful to answer some questions that I had prior to purchase. All around it was a great experience.

Okay o I've had this thing for like 5…
Okay so I've had this thing for like 5 months now and honestly its not bad Seat gets uncomfortable after about 2 hours of riding which is annoying because i like to take longer trips on weekends with my wife, the brakes feel solid and everything seems well made, nothing feels cheap or plastic like some of the other brands out there the battery goes pretty far but sometimes i wish it went a bit further would definitely recommend to someone looking to get into electric trikes. Just maybe get a better seat if you're doing long distance stuff.

Beyond frustrated and pissed off at my experience. Getting ready to reach out for a return because its been bullshit. $2000 for something I was BEYOND excited about. I've been wanting an electric trike for YEARS and I finally pull the trigger and have had nothing but problems.
Out of the box the seat had a tear the frame was scratched, and the chain wasnt even on. I reached out and support was going to send a new seat but wanted me to buy sharpies or paint on Amazon to fix the frame scratches.
I've only gone on a few rides ONLY taking sidewalks and streets and today I pulled it out and had the flattest tire ever. I've been diligent about where I'm riding and storing it in a safe spot with the cover on and I'm having such a negative experience! Also when I ride, it if feels jerky and like the chain keeps falling out of gear. So frustrated...

I'm still trying to get this resolved was promised an email regarding collection. There's been no email and they have gone silent. I did change a part that they insisted I do and it still didn't work. When initially emailing them they tried to make me strip down the bike and also tried to make me pay £200 to get it collected which is against my consumer rights. I would definitely stay away from this company as they like to take your money and leave you with the problems

I had to hire a handyman to put it together it took 4 hours and 300 dollars extra. Now that it’s finally put together it’s a sturdy bike. It fits my husband fine but my feet don’t touch the ground so I have to be careful getting off. And that’s why I gave it half the stars.
