Refused a rufund

I ordered a waterproof cycling jacket which was received quickly. Unfortunately my mobile phone in it's wallet will not fit in the pocket. I had taken the tag off the jacket but kept it safe. I got in touch with Morvelo and explained that I need to carry my phone due to my wife's illness at home and need to be contactable but was told that
1 - pocket being too small and
2 - the tags having been removed
Meant no refund.
Surely the tag could be replaced.
Not a good experience for a first and last time customer.

Has Morvelo ceased trading?

Not sure if this company has ceased trading, as they continue to fail to answer emails or contact through Facebook messenger.
I have an issue with a faulty product that was purchase several months ago and cannot get Morvelo to respond.
Their Facebook hasn't been updated for a few months now, so maybe they've gone out of business 🤔

Really poor

Really poor. Ordered a jersey which was too small. I returned it and they acknowledged receipt but nearly 3 weeks on and still no refund. Have had to escalate through PayPal. Stay away.

Not as good as my last pair

My husband’s last Morvelo bibs were his favourite ‘go to’ wear. The new ones I bought him were a bit different in style and seemed fine at first too but after some long rides he’s less of a fan. The stitching securing the edge of the pad is crude, with a visible trimmed pad edge that chafes after some hours and the ventilation holes of the old pad are gone so it gets sweaty ‘down there’.
So, okay but no longer his go-to shorts.

Nearly 2 months and I still haven’t…

Nearly 2 months and I still haven’t received an item I ordered

Keep getting fobbed off and no indication of when I’ll get it

Used to be a great company but awful now, I’d avoid using them, much better companies and kit out there.

Months of lies, got my refund from PayPal

It has taken 2 months to finally get my money back from PayPal, after a catalogue of lies and deceit from Morvelo, what a disgrace....the money was not returned by Morvelo but a PayPal dispute after returning t-shirts that didn't fit full tracked. After constantly promising a refund it never appeared I was forced to take the issue to Paypal.

Nothing but lies and nonsense from Morvelo.

These clowns will not refund your money, look at the other reviews stating exactly the same.

Avoid these crooks like the plague.

Shabby response to updates as to why…

Shabby response to updates as to why I've yet receive the remaining item from my order. Seems to be a recent trend of slow shabby to new and existing customers. I just want 1 of 3 things, an update as to when I'll receive my remaining item, receive my item, or a refund. How hard can it be. Shabby. I cannot recommend you to anyone.
UPDATE: Hi Liam, i've replied as you requested but still no further updates from yourselves. You owe me an item at a value of £29.99 or a refund - this is deplorable service!!

Another great brand, ruined. RIP Morvelo.

Im genuinely sad at having to write this poor review of a brand I have loved, and supported over the years. I recently bought some t-shirts, and stupidly followed the sizing guide. This suggested that I should be an L (usually an M in casual tee's) but went with the chart, especially from a cycling apparel provider where sizing can be unusual. My order arrives and they are huge. Return initiated, and an M order placed separately. M arrives and fits perfectly, great. One quick wash to get rid of the acrylic smell, and both the black t-shirts are now significantly smaller than the other two non-black ones. So much so they are too short to wear. Another has already started coming apart at the seam on the sleeve during its second wear. Im not doing major manual labour in these either, 8 hours sat at a desk...

My original return is slow but progressing and a label is sent over, no instructions on what to do other than make sure the address is stuck to the outside, thanks for the tip. Sent back via Royal Mail with tracking. 20 days post delivery, still nothing. All comms just say you must give us 14 days after arrival to process it, but Im still sat here with 2 out of 4 usable t-shirts and twice the price out of pocket.
After complaining about the shrinkage and build quality, I now have replacements, and to be honest, they aren't worth the hassle. The black one is pretty faded and the print looks worn already, the grey one is much darker and cheaper fabric, even to the point of having a small dot of pink thread on the front of it mixed into the weave. Quality is all over the place.

This is such a shame as my riding kit has always been great quality but now I would be really nervous of ordering anything, either through quality or the incredibly slow returns process. The Hut Group seem hell bent on running this brand into the ground and it seems, mission nearly accomplished.

Disappointing treatment of customers

I've bought several times from Morvelo in the past. I've always been impressed by the clothing, it's some of my favourite cycling kit. However, my last purchase was part of a promotional offer which was not honoured and the customer service response has been dreadful. Left with the feeling they've been deliberately dishonest. A real shame that this seems to have happened to a previously good company, but I won't buy from them again.

Terrible

Terrible, awful abysmal
Not only was quality poor, a refund on a properly returned item is promised within 10 days. Alas its been weeks and weeks. Absolute disgrace you guys. Stop fobbing me off with its pending and repay what you owe. Repay repay repay... Do what your consumer promise states

I’m still waiting for my refund

I’m still waiting for my refund. Morvelo received my return 5 weeks ago and I still haven’t had my money back. It is impossible to contact them to talk to anyone. Shan’t be buying anything for them again. ☹️

I have been trying to retrieve a refund…

I have been trying to retrieve a refund via Morvelo website and emails, since November 2022, without any success. I correctly followed Morvelos return process, paid for return post and then followed up with the order number and returns evidence. I have never had a single repsonse from Morvelo, beyond their initial supply of the return form via email. Feeling completely ripped off, wish I'd never purchased from this Co or returned the item as it's clear they do not reply and are cheats. The have a telephone on their website which has been disconnected. Please avoid at all costs, as per other reviews here. Upsetting!

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

ISSUE FINALLY RESOLVED - it wasn’t easy but anybody else facing the same, keep on pushing for your refund. I would not buy from Morvelo again.

UPDATE: After posting on here, guess what? Yes, suddenly I have been promised a refund in 3-5 days… Morvelo customers should not have to resort to this!

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY - even if you return goods via their courier (Evri) you will not receive a refund so please don’t risk it and lose money and waste time like I have.

Returned £69.98 worth of goods using…

Returned £69.98 worth of goods using the Morvelo issued prepaid return label (Evri) and then Evri lost it and have not helped as I am not the customer - Morvelo is. Morvelo as a company (my contact was Luis) have told me tough luck basically as it is my responsibility to use an approriate courier??!! It was their courier. Tried several times but they are no help at all. Awful service and feel ripped off. I am now pursuing a credit card chargeback and a follow up to trading standards.

Do not purchase from these theives unless you are sure you won't need to return any garments.

Update - in last 30 days, have now been told twice they will refund and takes 3-5 working days, it has not been refunded - it is beyond poor service and I would think this is now some form of fraudulent trading with a systematic practice of never refunding returns. If I ever DO get refunded (other than via forced credit card chargeback) I will update this with the details.

I used to love Morvelo…

I used to love Morvelo - great clothing and well fitting. Unfortunately after a terrible experience I’ll never shop with them again. I ordered a number of t shirts and a pair of bib shorts. The sizing was completely different on the t shirts and the bibs had holes in. I returned the items but Morvelo still haven’t refunded me nearly 2 months later, despite promising too. I am now processing a dispute through my credit card. I wonder if Morvelo are having financial difficulties as customer service and refunds are appalling. A shame as before I really rated them!

Update 2 November 2022

Morvelo replied to confirm they would issue the refund if I shut the card dispute. I did this and no refund has been issued, so I have reopened the card dispute. The service has been appalling and I am still without a refund! I would strongly recommend NOT shopping with Morvelo if you expect any small amount of good customer service.

I used to love Morvelo clothes not anymore

I used to love Morvelo clothes, but my last two orders have been so disappointing, i had to return as sizing was poor, took an age to refund, had to chase and chase. This time, the two T-shirts I orders were cheaply made, really poor quality, awful fit, even tho one was a T-shirt I already had, I wanted another as mine was so nice, but what a disappointment, returned, and again, the return process is painful, getting a label was hopeless, sent by post in the end, I paid, after weeks of chasing sending messages, I have eventually got my refund. I won’t be using again, I’m had enough. I’ll take my custom elsewhere. They just don’t care.

Added 4/11/2022, responded to the email and guess what nothing, no response, no acknowledgment, nothing. You’ve blown it Morvelo.
