The vehicle I insured with this company failed the MOT, so I sold it for spares or repair. I then Cancelled my policy with a full 8 months left on the policy. They say that it is in the small print. That I would get no refund, over £200 that's a lot to lose for a OAP! READ THE SMALL PRINT THEN YOU WILL KNOW TO AVOID THIS COMPANY. AVOID! AVOID

When I took out my car insurance in 2025 I specifically asked NOT to have it renewed automatically. I was ignored on this and
£674 was removed from my account. It took me forever on the phone to have this stopped and then 4 days for it to be returned to my account.I may be 80 years of age but I have never had an accident and so I should like to know why my insurance has sky rocketed in the last few years. Incidentally I did manage to get insurance £145 cheaper than your quote.

As part of our renewal procedure, we send a renewal invitation by email in advance of the policy renewing. This communication asks customers to log in to their account to review their renewal quotation and any documents that may require their attention. The notice also explains our automatic renewal process, including that payment will be collected seven days before the renewal date unless we are contacted beforehand and instructed not to proceed with the renewal.
We appreciate your concerns regarding the cost of your renewal premium. Insurance prices are determined by insurers using a range of rating factors and can change from year to year, even where no claims have been made. We understand this can be disappointing, especially when you have maintained a claim-free driving record.
Thank you for your feedback, which we will use to help improve our service moving forward. We apologise again for the inconvenience caused and are pleased that the payment was ultimately refunded.
