Thisis my fourth purchase from motorpoint and the service is as good ss ever

The car I bought from Motorpoint was very good value for money. It is the car I wanted and the spec meets my needs. The car is in excellent condition. I also got a px on my old car that exceeded my expectations. The process from start to finish ran smoothly meaning I could drive away that day with my vehicle.
Only issue was that leading up to my visit I had a few questions, which I initially asked both Derby & Peterborough, but emails were not responded to. I did ring and the questions were answered accurately and professionally.
Overall a great experience and I would buy again from Motorpoint

Motorpoint is a great place to go for your cars. They listen, will do anything to help what is right for you. No pressure to buy or take extras. Genuine help and understanding to your needs. No judgement. Would 100% recommend any of the staff and products.

Single day service not achieved due to no code for car tax. Had to go back the following day. Staff were very accommodating and apologetic but it was very frustrating. Otherwise all ok

Friendly welcome, sales staff were good not pushy at all, but communication between sales & repairer dept was abit slow , but must say the 3 ladies on front desk were great, each one were helpful couldn’t do enough for us kept us updated too well done 👏🏻 to Milly, Beth , Beth H who I believe has not been there long was so helpful & attentive , these are a credit to the company 👏🏻

Well actually my experience with motorpoint peterborough itself was calm considering all that went wrong on the finance side of things. Im not sure who's responsibility it is to check that everything with finance is in order before getting customers in but something was missed for me, which resulted in 3 visits to motorpoint and me having to temporarily cover my old car, which is additional expenses I'd rather not have.

My only advice for everyone I dealt with was just to ensure that they communicate things with customers also. Because I found that communication was being made between my initial sales person and peterborough Motorpoint but I wasn't informed of some things, so I was finding things out on arrival rather than having a phone call to verify information which would've saved me multiple trips and frustration.

Rachel was fab. There were 2 other gents involved in my process but I didn't manage to catch their names and also Henry and Charlie (Derby). The team seem like a good bunch from my experience.

Now in terms of my car (which I absolutely love by the way so my comment doesn't take away from the fact that I'm currently happy with it). When I got the car home I had noticed that the internal was not touched at all. It had layers of dust across the whole console and when I wiped it all down with antibac wipes it was extremely dirty. I even found a torn off fingernail in the glove compartment which was vile. So I'll have to get it fully detailed myself. Maybe I opted out of getting it cleaned properly? I don't know but yeah, not great on that front.

I bought a one year old VW Passat from Motorpoint. I was somewhat surprised at how good Motorpoint is, the premises were very nice clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I was shown the car, given the keys and left alone to have a good look around. That’s key for me, I don’t want to have a salesperson try to sell me anything I want time to decide on my own. The car itself was good, very good price, and I collected the following day. Since then I have been very happy with it. I would certainly recommend Motorpoint, I have no connection with them, but they are a great option for buying a used vehicle.

They tell you the car they have serviced prior to you purchasing, therefore ud expect a 2024 plate registered June 2024 to be covered under warranty when you purchase in July 2025.!
25100 miles catastrophic engine failure. Peugeot trying to wriggle out of warranty.
Prev owner had serviced Nov 2024 at 13500miles but motorpoint hadn't bothered, nor did they tell us, so we thought conered until July 2026. Apparently not.
I would never advocate motorpoint. Salesman lie just for sale, customer service dispute this. Which makes 4 people witness to conversation liars.
If must buy from motorpoint check your milage, service history infact everything ( double check) as they'll worming out of everything.....
