Absolutely shocking customer service from Peterborough showroom. The "Motorpoint Quality standard" must be a load of rubbish as we bought our car with a faulty nearside strut top end. So for Motorpoint to be boasting about a multipoint mechanical check from engine to exhaust PLUS a 2nd mechanical check prior to being collected is absolute rubbish. Due to being part way through moving overseas we had been so busy. By the time we'd checked the fault out, we rang motorpoint up on the 11th day and because it was after the 10th day of having the car we was told we need to go through the manufactures warranty and there was nothing Motorpoint could do. We was quickly passed off. Also, on collection day we drove 2 hours to Peterborough showroom for a 1pm collection appointment. Got there and was shown to the car, only to find 1 screw & 1 nail in the same tyre. The Williams F1 paint protection had not been applied that I was charged £450 for. After a 3 hour wait the tyre was plugged and the paint protection applied. Due to the length of time we had been waiting there was no time for a test drive of the vehicle otherwise we would have picked up on the fault. Overall experience was absolutely shocking and we will not be buying from Motorpoint in the future.

5* for the car, condition and price. 1* deducted for the complete lack of after sales service. Two simple ( but important) questions were asked by phone and by email, absolutely no response, very disappointing.

Great, no pressure sales environment with a good selection of vehicles to suit most budgets. Sales Exec Sam was great in sorting the finance and test drive and kept us updated over the days before we collected the vehicle. We are long term customers of motorpoint and the standard of customer service, choice of vehicles and ease of purchase, why go anywhere else?

Very pleased with how smoothly my car purchase went. I found the car on line and reserved this. Once at the garage they gave me plenty of time to review the car and go for a test drive. Once satisfied the sales process took less than an hour including organising the finance. Really friendly staff, showroom was very clean and they offered tea or coffee as well as somewhere to sit whilst the car was being finalised. I was home with my new car within 2 hours. Would recommend Motorpoint if you are looking for a nearly new car.

This is the only place I'll go to purchase my cars. The service is excellent, staff are knowledgeable and accommodating. I wanted the car checking by a mechanic, they allowed this, when you're spending so much money this is reassuring.
I test drove, went home to sort insurance etc and collected my car all within a 3 hours. It was a cash buy, but everything was explained about finance options etc. I found the experience quick and easy.. I'll buy from motorpoint again.

While my initial purchase and service experience with Motorpoint Peterborough was completely faultless, their subsequent handling of a major safety defect has been appalling.

I bought a 2020 BMW 420d M Sport with iDrive presenting the car with tens of thousands of miles left in the front and rear brake pads. In reality, physical checks confirmed the rear pads were under 3mm and fronts under the 4mm.

Main dealer advised a corrupt head unit, Motorpoint admitted liability and paid for this however the brakes are still incorrectly reporting as good when in reality they are not.

The head unit was replaced and after a week and a half I chased for an update and reminder of the brakes issue. The very next day, I was abruptly told the brakes would not be fixed and that I needed to collect my car before 7pm on Friday. I had a flight the following morning and was left with absolutely no choice but to collect an unsafe vehicle with unresolved mechanical faults.

When I finally spoke to Peterborough management today, I was treated with a condescending attitude during a 26-minute call. Bethany Ryman hid behind an old MOT and offered an insulting £80 "goodwill" gesture for high-performance brakes that cost hundreds to replace. Even a member of Motorpoint's own sales team explicitly advised me the car was mis-sold and told me to push them to fix it. A formal 14-day legal notice under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 has been issued to their corporate compliance desk. Disgraceful handling of an active safety issue which is a real shame.

We have recently changed our car and needed to sell our current car. We checked the usual places (Car Wow, Motorway, We Buy Any Car, etc) and Motorpoint offered the best price online. Booked our appointment, in and out within 30 minutes with being offered the price quoted online. The whole process was extremely easy and couldn't be happier. I would 100% use them again.

Good quality car with very easy transaction with no rush or pressure with a lovely cup of tea

Paid for front & rear dash cams to be fitted,went to collect vehicle only to be told they had ran out of stock. Was told they would be in touch, heard nothing, so i had to do the chasing only to be told nothing had been ordered or arranged as I was told by the salesman.
